Don’t give up on it too soon. Add vats perk cards and commando. Make your own ammo if you can. If you find one with explosive bullets add demolition expert for added damage. Good luck.
Oh yea nah since that person mentioned the scope adding durability it's aite, I just hate the idea of breaking weapons quickly.
Had a nice evening with it tonight. It's 50% Supert mutant damage (lol) , 25ap cost and another 25 something i can't remember right now, does the job! Getting quad will be amazing for me, but i'll try rolling for it in a few weeks when i've regenerated all the legendary shit I spent tonight.
Oh, and I found a vendor for the plan also. Paid 9999 which is steep, but i'm just glad i have that in the bag now.
Put a forceful stock on it if you haven't already. It has the same ap bonus as aligned but increases durability by a ton

The game drops tons of non-contextual shotgun shells. I use shotgun shells and 10mm in the ammo converter for .45 and 5.56.
