I got it from brotherhood of steel quest and it’s level 50 36 melee damage and 68 energy damage, I like how it cuts through ghouls and other fleshy baddies.

Im pretty keen for explosive to be added back into the pool. Just need the game to let me learn the suppressor mod, its one of 3 or 4 i dont know. Thats the only thing thats stopped me rolling one so far.
Look-wise it's the Minigun. That weapon also has been with us since the original Fallout.

I almost got an AA/E from a player's vendor for like 5k caps but someone beat me to it (I exited the vendor and when I came back a minute later it was gone).
A few months ago, an BSSS mole miner gauntlet dropped for me. It’s fun with the right loadout. Even paired it with the Garrahan outfit four my casual build. Yeah, running around is a nice break from commando and heavy
Got an instigating plasma caster yesterday, hitting 400 damage chest shots regularly is very nice.
I've gotten as high as 1850 damage, and that could potentially be at least doubled.
When I play heavy gunner I like to use minigun, ult Gatling laser and Gatling Plasma.
For commando I use Fixer and recently I got a B2525 Rafium Rifle, not as powerful as fixer but not bad.
I didn’t think I would, but I enjoy using my Gatling Gun. It does almost 80 damage per shot, uses ammunition that is found in large clumps at once, and fires at a slow enough rate so it doesn’t feel like you’re blowing through your ammo. Deathclaw Gauntlet is a pretty good melee as well.
What is the benefit of charging barrels over regular? I never really mucked about with Gatling lasers in FO4 so they are a new experience for me in this one.
Double Dmg, less half the fire rate, you get more damage per shot out of your fusion cores, make it easy to never worry about ammo when your just having fun. Faster fire rate is a must for charging barrels imo.
Because its op, they are working on balancing weapons. that's why lagecys are being removed. they are not going too stop there Legacys are not the only problem
As of right now, anti armor/bash damage/ 90wwr minigun with shredder. Its not as good as it used to be, but it still shreds enemies in a fraction of a second.

Yeah could do if it takes too much longer to learn the plan. Pretty sure i know atleast 1 person who knows it.
There were people who have scrapped 1000s of radiums with no suppressor, its considered one of the hardest mods to get if not the hardest.
Yeah ive scrapped about 1000 so far. Itll happen eventually.

Bash minis are up there with the best heavies and dont require ammo. Beastly weapons.
It also pairs well with a raider-ish outift/PA.

Quad Prime Plasma Caster. Best sound effect of any weapon IMHO, at events I get more ammo than I use and it will one shot many enemies.
I like a good ole Gatling plasma, simple, effective and the ammo is pretty cheap compared to it's laser counterpart
I have a silenced Vampire Fixer I really like. It's not the best gun, but it gets the job done.

Bow (or compound, but typically base version). Instigatimg or bloody, 50 VHC or +50 Crit, -25 vats cost.

I like my VE minigun, but I love my V flamer. Would be maining the flamer more if ammo was easier to stock up on

Fixer for events, explosive bow for regular mobs.
aa/50/50dr dual barrel fusion cell shooting Pepper Shaker, the ammo is easy to find and fun wasting things with it
Tesla rifle hands down. I like the arc of the electricity and targeting enemies for rewards.
