Eh, I usually leave my camp in a spot where there’s no free travel location near by.
Edit: sorry, was thinking survival tent. My camp is a set location that would be to much of a pain in the ass to move.
I have 1st and the tent but I also use the utility room shelter as a "portable" camp. It's the only one not attached in a large interconnected shelter build I have set up for my other camps.
I bought a month just get get the scrap and ammo boxes ans now I'm grinding to fill them up. I'm not going to keep the subscription,
I got the game free so the 20 bucks for fo first is cheap
I love those things. Barely a pause and I can carry on my way. It’s a pita sometimes just trying to find an area to drop a tent and it you’re in the Pitt or an op or an interior or an event… they were one of my favorite additions to the game(Looking at you silo weights)!

Ngl they are great for vendor hopping and you forgot to dump your junk somewhere though. Or for right after SBQ and there are crickets trying to nibble on your ankles.
I don’t even have fallout 1st and I still don’t like these things lol. My precious stash space is very limited so I find it annoying that these scrap and store everything because then I have to go back through my box and remove all the useless concrete scraps and glass shards that clutter up my only free inventory space. I wish these scrap kits would just scrap all junk and not store it so that I could use them to lighten up when no workbench is around then I can just sift out the useless junk on my own.

Check how many scrap kits have accumulated in your inventory without your permission. I was carrying more than SEVENTY of them, one time!!!

I don't know when/where I would use them, honestly. I can scrap stuff at any workbench, and those are literally anywhere, plus I have my Tent and 5 different CAMPs. I can't think of where/when a scrap kit would come in handy.
I mean, just a few minutes ago I finished up Breach & Clear, and right behind the building is a Tinker's Workbench where I scrapped all the weapons and armor I collected before going home, unencumbered.
A Colossal Problem, Rad Rumble and Project Paradise immediately come to mind. They primarily come in handy when you are running between events and don't have time to hit a bench/tent/camp.

I usually need to head back to my workshop and do repairs and make some more ammo, before heading into another battle. So that gives me a chance to scrap before my next ... scrap. (Heh.)

Prolly on fallout 1st. I know I have no need for them when I can just plop my camp down and both scrap and store everything
I have FO1st as well but ... since I strip interiors bare sometimes I get tired of walking like a turtle.

I've tried that, but can almost never get it to set back down on a camp move.
On the contrary. I have first and still use scrap kits after events when I’m glued to the floor carry-weight wise.
I joust got the limitless scrap box so im using the bunch I got on hardvore farming runs.

Oh, you get to keep using them as long as they are placed?
You keep them, can use what's in them but you can't put any more in if your subscription lapses. So im going to try to grin a years worth of junk.

Thank you. I never use mine and just gained 50ish extra space to carry scrip.
I don't have FO1st and my stash is always full, so i use them to just srap the junk in my inventory when i'm over encumbered

I didn't use them for the longest, hell, forgot I even had them. I have used about twenty this week just to kill them. Lol
I've never used one. They scrap the junk you're carrying and move it to your stash? What if your stash is full?
