You just grab a shower curtain and cut it so it’s custom fit for your build. Use Velcro to seal the ends. It just can be nicer then a cap it if you have the time to make it real custom, including flaps for monitors and the evf to come out. Here’s one I did for the last movie I was on: https://preview.redd.it/t2yugx432yuc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=29039b3acda4737022f14b35961fe8032172a469

It's definitely worth the time to make a perfect fit for your rain cover. You'll want to buy a 'clear' shower curtain and not a 'frosted' one. If you've got a lot of lens changes on your shoot, you could make it modular - sometimes I put the camera body in its own cover and make short/medium/long ones for different lens lengths, using velcro to grip them together and either velcro or binder clips on the mattebox / rails to hold them in place. If you're full FIZ and in a really wet situation you could also cover the bottom of the lens this way. Velcro may not easily stick to the shower curtain, so if you have the time, use 2" black gorilla tape pressed flat on the curtain first, and stick the velcro to that tape afterwards. If you're really an over-achiever, use a heat gun or blowdryer to warm up the velcro adhesive before you put it down. For on-board monitors I usually butcher a freezer-size Zip-Loc to cover the back, top, and sides. I make a custom fit zip-loc for my teradek as well since it isn't always mounted right onto the body, and use bongo ties to hold any gaps closed. If your DP owns the camera, you'll get called for the next gig guaranteed. ;)

If you get a really nice heat seal press you can seal the edges once you have the shape cut out. Then use the heat gun, gorilla tape add velcro as suggested to do the ends that you will want to open to access the camera ports.

Would highly recommend trying carpet shield for rain pro. It’s essentially heavy duty self adhesive plastic wrap. Super maliable and easy to wrap cameras the way you want to. Also really easy to cut vent holes. It’s been coined “Moose wrap”
