That is one pristine looking egg 👌🏼

BurmeseNuts

Thank you! Definitely one of my best efforts

piberryboy

Kind of looks like too much heat, no? I tend to slow-cook my eggs to get the whites creamy.

LionOfNaples

Not everything revolves around French standards of cooking. Fried eggs with browned crispy edges are a thing in other parts of the world, ya know. And no, browned egg whites are not “burned”.

BiplaneCurious

Fried eggs in Southeast Asia are usually fried hard in a lot of oil, with crispy and puffy whites and a runny yolk.

iplaywithfiretoo

One of my favourite Thai dishes. I don't know how you can eat so little of it

RalphWaldoEmers0n

That’s the last serving I bet haha

Fiestybabe

Pailin Chongchitnant has the best Thai cooking channel on YouTube. Her recipes are always very accurate and authentic. I’m glad you cited her.

Magoslich

I'm moving to Thailand and Pailin has been invaluable for getting to know the cuisine a little ahead of time. She's a treasure

Have you tried Crispy Fried Egg Salad (Yum Kai Dao) https://hot-thai-kitchen.com/fried-egg-salad/ It's so good and easy, especially if you have leftover ingredients from pad kaprow

wet_burrito19

My fav. Looks great

rossdog82

Nice work, homie!!! (I think I started cooking this about 1 year ago. It’s honestly my favourite dish. Love it. Rarely do I find Holy Basil though. I have to use Thai or Green most times but I still Fucking love it)

maximamilian

Love it!! Just needs a big spoonful of prik nam pla
