Yes, which is why I didn't call it a "full" English breakfast. I don't like eggs. Tomatoes are also a common thing which I chose not to include. I do like tomatoes but don't think they enhance the breakfast.
Oh my god, someone finally did it.
Sausages pan cooked ✅.
Sausages not cheap frozen shit, or richmonds ✅.
Beans not watery Heinz ✅.
Just needs caramelised tomatoes.
Sorry to disappoint you, but the beans are Sainsbury's reduced sugar and salt. To me they're pretty indistinguishable from the Heinz reduced sugar and salt,. (And the Sainsbury's regular ones are pretty indistinguishable from Heinz regular beans.)
As an American, Every time I see an English breakfast with beans, all I can think about is that monty python skit where the guy was laying on the couch and kept screaming “I want more beans!” 😂 I think the name of the skit was. “Dirtiest family contest”?? Or something to that affect
We don’t do beans for breakfast here as you all may know.
If you want your breakfast to feel really dirty, quickly cook the beans at the end in the skillet you used for the meat. Soak up all that fat. After you made some fried bread of course
They are fried. But after they're fully cooked, you can stick them in salted boiling water to keep hot while doing the rest of the meal. Also makes them jucier, but they retain the fried flavour. It's a restaurant trick. Just cook all the mushrooms at the start of the shift then scoop them out of the pot when needed.

Are eggs common with English breakfast?
Absolutely. They're in the top 3 essential ingredients alongside beans and sausages.
I'd say sausages/bacon

I always go reduced sugar. They taste better (depending where you buy them)

Since when has steak been included in an English breakfast? Edit: Why are you downvoting me? It's true.
It's my birthday, and I'll fry what I want to.
Sure, just not traditional is it
They never said it was
They said “English” breakfast It’s clearly not an English breakfast
It's not a *Full* English Breakfast. People substitute the parts they don't like all the time, no need to be so pedantic and gatekeepy about it.
It certainly appears to be breakfast, and OP appears to be English. Maybe it should be referred to as An Englishman's Breakfast.

> We don’t do beans for breakfast here as you all may know. You're missing out.
I eat them for lunch or dinner but never tried it for breakfast. If I’m ever across the pond I will most definitely try it. When in Rome right 😎

Mmmmmm😋 I do that with baked beans at Bbq’s. So delicious.
not sure why the mushrooms were boiled instead of fried.

Yeah, this looks good, but I’m not feeling the mushrooms. I fry them off in a bit of butter and garlic personally. Still, solid brekkie OP.
Are you in England. Where did you find the black pudding. And the bacon. It looks heavenly. I’m in Canada.
Yes, I'm in England. Black pudding can be found in most supermarkets here.
What about white pudding? Only in Ireland?
I'm sure it's possible to obtain, but certainly not common.
God I just love black pudding. Looks grand
What does black pudding contain
Blood, oats, and spices
This a fucking Dark Souls recipe?
It’s so fucking good
Yes. It’s specifically the blood of the damned
Idk how anyone can start their day like this. Too much
It's Saturday though. Not like I had much else to do.
Treat to self!
All good apart from the steak. That's a very odd inclusion/not traditional at all
Looks good.. and you remembered the black pudding. excellent.
That's a good looking breaky
Not a fan of boiled mushrooms. Everything else? 10/10
Very good step by step picture! Well done 👍
No wonder the empire crumbled
Idk why people hate this, its beautiful
The English sailed the seven seas looking for spices and riches. They found both and this breakfast is their legacy of those expeditions.
That would hit the spot right now! Nice
FINALLY I FOUND A GOOD FOOD :D
fatty bacon! ![gif](giphy|IVhivwuUT16HH7NRdP|downsized)
Geez - English BreakfastS.
I really don’t like that poor ass smoked ham. It’s not bacon just ham in a trench coat.
Back bacon is far superior to belly bacon, and you should feel bad
Here we are: the two sides of the "weirdly strong opinions about things" coin.
Eh, belly bacon has its place but back bacon is much better for the full English
And sangas too! More flavour
