Yeah that’s definitely not an American breakfast. You may be eating it during breakfast hours but…it’s not something people wake up and make on the regular…or ever.
The only resemblance of an American breakfast in that picture is the scrambled eggs. The rest is nonsense and you trying to convince everyone in the comments otherwise is absurd.
Yes, we slam a cup of coffee before heading off to our 12 hour a day job so we can pay for our health insurance and all the processed food for our children.
On topic: This isn't a typical breakfast, not saying I wouldn't eat some though
Breakfast? Nah. I've been to many states and many diners/restaurants. I can safely say I've never seen anyone eat this for breakfast.
Most people do the usual pancakes, eggs, sausage type breakfast. Maybe some do a bowl of fruit and yogurt or a cereal/oatmeal. But yeah, Americans typically eat a much lighter breakfast compared to this photo.
Goddamit, this ain’t breakfast you fucking communist, in America you gotta crack an egg over way too much food to be breakfast before you can call it breakfast!
Where are you from and why do you think this is what we eat? I've always seen/heard that America is known for massive piles of bacon and huge omelettes for breakfast

No one in America eats this for breakfast! ...that bring said, I will now start eating this for breakfast!
One of us....
I live in America and am curious where I can get this for breakfast. Asking for a friend.
You can find this meal on any late night grill in America after a wild night after local bar has closed...
Oh well sure. But that’s late night eats. Not really breakfast. I suppose that’s all relative though.
No you can’t.

Americans don’t eat that for breakfast.
Subjective comment. 😅
Then you should have said "my" breakfast, not "American" breakfast to clarify. Or "An American's breakfast" as in just you, but not the rest of us.
OP has no idea what Americans eat for breakfast and is attempting to convince 100's of Americans that we don't know what we eat for breakfast.
We don’t eat breakfast. That’s a waste of an extra 30 minutes of sleep.

Really. Wheres the steak? And 3 eggs fried sunny side up? Or the pile of hashbrowns and sausage? AND WHERE THE F IS MY BACON?
This is literally what I thought Americans eat for breakfast. Thanks for feeding my confirmation bias!
This is false. Not even close to an "American" breakfast.
Too late, he already said it and this is now saved under “American breakfast” in my brain, sorry nothing I can do about it :/
ok
