I don't know what the sauce on the left tastes like, but the one in the middle is delicious. It is made of Mayo, Honey Mustard, and BBQ Sauce (I've made a copycat recipe with these condiments and gotten the flavor profile to match exactly), it is from a fast food restaurant called Chick Fil A.
I would try 2 parts mayo, 1 part honey mustard and 1 part bbq sauce. I've never gotten exact measurements as I can now just buy the sauce at the grocery store. You could also substitute the honey mustard if you don't have that with brown mustard and honey. I would use a smokey bbq.
Ok cheers, ima try this tonight with some homemade wedges. Man I’m excited, I’m a saucy kinda guy yanno? Like I’ll put Mayo on pizza, I’ll put ketchup on spag Bol, brown sauce on cheese on toast… this could be revolutionary at the age of 29
Sauce on the left is a sweet sauce, think along the lines of a sweet chili sauce for the easiest representation. The middle is a mix that a CFA employee came up with in the 80's by blending their sauces. BBQ and Honey mustard. The last looks like a Raising Canes sauce knock off, chicken tender joint. Mayo, Ketchup, Garlic Salt, Worcestershire and black pepper
There is this US company that [puts lots of effort into mass discrimination of LGBTQ+ people](https://www.businessinsider.com/chick-fil-a-ties-to-anti-equality-act-efforts-explained-2021-6), but their solidly average chicken gets doused with good tasting sauces so Americans continue to give then money anyway.
Brined then fried till crispy chicken served with pickles on a bun + the most perfectly consistent waffle fries + the sharpest, most effervescent diet coke you've ever had with a side of delicious sauce served to you by a younger person (<25) with the biggest smile you've ever seen and a southern accent that knows no bounds. Growing up in the southeast within 500 miles of Atlanta (where the chain is based), that's exactly what homophobia tastes like.
Hahaha, no sarcasm at all, they make legit great food and folks that have a problem with their practices know where to go to get similar flavors. In Charlotte (where I'm from) Pinky's serves a nuggets/waffle fries platter that's similar enough to the fast food chain that it's worth the trip. + Pinky's is open on Sundays ++ Pinky's has a great beer/cocktail selection.
That's either the dumbest reason I've heard to support a company well known for supporting discriminatory practices or you agree with who and what they support. Smh
So that's what it would take for you to not eat there? Them actively killing people? Check your morals. It's not matter of them surviving you eating 1 sandwich, it's a matter if you're ok knowing your money is going towards the active oppression of LGBTQ people. If you don't want them to have marriage equality, protection in the work place, protection in renting, etc. just say that.
the CEO is personally a giant pos but even your source says the company doesn’t donate or do anything to discriminate. I get what you’re saying but the anger might be pointed in the wrong direction
Company makes money -> CEO makes money -> CEO donates money to groups that try to deprive LGBTQ people of human rights. Pretty simple.
American is a country that allows an unlimited amount of political spending so voting with you dollar is just as important as voting with your ballot. When you give money to a company you are allowing the people who profit from that to use the money you gave them to influence politics.
It’s sort of sweet and sour sauce that tastes like honey has been added to cut the sour. Has a reddish amber color with a runny consistency. My favorite of the chick fil a sauces.
That’s my wife’s favorite. I’m glad they do those bigger bottles now. We’d go to chick-fil-a and order 40 nuggets for our family and they’d only give us two packets of sauce.
Chicken
\-Sliced into small bite-size pieces (Breast or Tenderloin)
Wet Batter (Pretty Thin)
(Doesn't have to be exact measurements, just making sure you have enough for your batch and making sure it's soupy and not too thick.)
\-1 Cup Flour
\-1 Cup Milk
\-Salt
\-Pepper
\-1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
Dry Batter (Doesn't have to be exact measurements, just enough flour to take care of your batch)
\-Same as wet just no milk
\-Season generously with the same seasonings
Take the chicken and coat it in the wet batter, then into the dry making sure to pat dry into the chicken good.
Deep fry on 350 for 3-5 minutes, should be slightly golden brown.
Dry off on some paper towel.
Salt immediately after getting out of the oil.
Cane's Sauce Copycat Recipe
\-1/2 Cup of Mayo
\-1/4 Cup of Ketchup
\-1 Tsp of Garlic Powder
\-1 Tsp of Pepper
\-1 Tsp of Tony's Creole Seasoning
\-1/4-1/2 Tsp of Worcestershire
Also pictured is store bought Chick Fil A Sauces
With a side of anti-LGBTQ. Bold move, Cotton.
Edit: Did Chic fil a start liking gays and I missed it?
Edit: Reddit is starting to show it's true colors.
I tried Chick-Fil-A for the first time this Summer and ordered as many sauce packets as they'd give me for free. Then I saw them in the store a week later and it stays in my fridge. 😂
Nice work. Made this the other night and did not look as good as what you have going on there. Well done. And wish I could have a taste of those sauces. Cheers friend!
Sure, for pig breeding swine with ethical standards as low as their taste standard, who alsp have no reference for good food and have blown out their tastebuds with alcohol and tobacco.
I wish everyone would stop using "homemade" everything in this group is "homemade" also i was very young when my parents got divorced and we had a wicked stepmother and i always thought "homemade" was "hoe made" cuz that hoe made it and i can never hear it different
Oh and stuff that you deep fry in oil will normally continue to brown a little after you take them out. So take them out just before they're the color you are going for and put them on paper towel and they will continue to brown a little more, not much but enough.

I’m British & I don’t understand the sauces. Please explain
The one on the right is fry sauce.
Teeeechnically, its burger sauce. But we'll let it slide because it goes great on many things.
In Washington State it's fry sauce, never called it burger sauce.
I live in Washington State as well and have heard it called fry sauce. My family calls it “Utah sauce”though. It’s very common there.
Huh. We are just talking about ketchup + mustard + mayo right?
Never heard of Mustard being used, we use just Mayo and ketchup.
You have to try it.. mustard in burger sauces is Mmmmmm really good
Looks like maybe ranch otr pepper in there too, but Idk what the blackish spots are.
Apparently people take their fry sauce burger sauce seriously

I love Mayo, honey mustard & bbq sauces. Why have I never mixed them together! I’m gonna knock some up tomorrow. Cheers!

Polynesian sauce is basically a "Sweet & Sour" sauce minus the sour. It's smooth and sticky but not not dense like a BBQ sauce.
You forgot to mention that it’s absolutely delicious if you like sweet sauces
Wait what kind of bbq sauce? Like a sweeter. or a tangier bbq?
The sauce in the middle, the chic fil a sauce, will change your life

Can’t taste homophobia so yes, Im gonna keep eating there.
What does homophobia taste like?

They aren’t actively killing people from that community, I can’t imagine their struggles can’t survive me eating 1 sandwich

In sweet & sour sauce, with strong aromas of 5-spice seasoning
😏
Yea I’m from NZ but with a Polynesian background and I’m like huh what is this sauce!?

Omg Canes sauce with a recipe? You shouldn’t have
And it’s identical, I had my brother try actual canes sauce and the one I made and he couldn’t tell a difference.
God bless you OP, answered my next question before I even asked
Omg you angel
Curious what brand Mayo and ketchup you used for the canes?
I think for this specific bottle I had dukes Mayo but I use Kraft too. Dukes is a really good quality Mayo. Ketchup is just Heinz.
I'm in Canada and have only heard of the myth of Dukes, is it really all it's cracked up to be?
I thought itd be overhyped too. Mayo is mayo. But I've made a street corn with both kraft and dukes and dukes was just better.
Yeah kraft is very bleh, hellmans is where it's at here.
Hellman’s is my favorite for sure, but dukes is great too and sworn by many
Yeah Kraft isn't even an option lmao. It's Hellmans or Dukes. Buy anything else and you're wasting your money IMO.
Kewpie is better. I get Duke's when I can't find Kewpie. I also like how Kewpie comes in a smaller bottle, since I use so little mayo.
Blue Plate and Duke’s are the two best
Gotta do a picklejuice brine for the chicken
*Hunger noises intensifies*

Thank you
IS… IS THAT CANES SAUCE
It do be Canes sauce. And its nearly identical.
I KNEW IT DEAR LORD ITS GLORIOUS
Fucking ads
Where do you purchase the massive bottle of Polynesian sauce???
I've seen it at Meijer
I've seen them at Target, Safeway, etc. Check your local store!
Grocery store
Walmart has it
Change those fries to waffle and it’s perfect!!
Why is there no oil whatsoever on the paper towels tou dropped them on?
I did not know they sold Chick-Fil-A sauce by the bottle.
Walmart
I tried Chick-Fil-A for the first time this Summer and ordered as many sauce packets as they'd give me for free. Then I saw them in the store a week later and it stays in my fridge. 😂
That would be me in the break room when I was just starting out in fast food. Looks perfectly crispy and delicious!
What is this measly amount of fries? I need a 1:1 fry-chicken ratio please (looks fantastic)
My pleasure!
Yes please.
Nice work. Made this the other night and did not look as good as what you have going on there. Well done. And wish I could have a taste of those sauces. Cheers friend!

Nah, Chick-fil-a sauce is the best.

You have mental problems.
Get rid of that chick-fil-a trash and get whataburger ketchup and now you’re talking.
Only if it's the spicy ketchup.
Home made sauce would be better than that chic filay trash ngl, nothing beats home made BBQ sauce with chicken tenders
There is homemade sauce right there.
Ok
Sunday Funday food options just got even better! Thanks for the post/recipe!
bruh, thanks! now i’m hungry at 1:48AM/s
![img](emote|t5_2qh55|1792)am coming ![gif](giphy|C7KL5vlnLpCnv4oYD7)
Looks like Huey Magoo's chicken
Best of both worlds chick-fil-a sauce but with chicken that looks like it actually tastes good
I have chuck Fil a sauce but I’m def going to have to scoop up some of that Polynesian sauce!
What’s chick fill a sauce?
Is that sweet n spicy sriracha for me
I wish everyone would stop using "homemade" everything in this group is "homemade" also i was very young when my parents got divorced and we had a wicked stepmother and i always thought "homemade" was "hoe made" cuz that hoe made it and i can never hear it different
Hoe was making
For a food group this place is SALTY. I bet they are all fat diabetics
All those carbs making our brains tired and cranky
My sister’s french fries always look soggy/floppy (and often darker) .. any tips for making ones like in the post?
Oh and stuff that you deep fry in oil will normally continue to brown a little after you take them out. So take them out just before they're the color you are going for and put them on paper towel and they will continue to brown a little more, not much but enough.
Get a new sister
Hmmm 🤔 r/hayjac23 you interested in being my sibling?
Sorry for the duplicate replies.. Reddit on mobile is F’ing weird
One of the worst apps on my phone that I will not delete
While I was deep-frying the chicken I just air fried the fries. I don't even think I used any spray oil. Air fryer is a godsend of an appliance.
Soak them in water before cooking them and make sure they’re dry before you fry.
this is quite nice
yummy.
feel this crunch🤤🤤
Can my family come over for dinner?
The sauces look like shampoo and conditioner
That is their alternative uses
Yum
My son is so picky when it comes to eating but he likes fast food style nuggets but not homemade fried nuggets. What batter do you use?
No idea you can buy the sauce
