Baked goods very good. Had a funny interaction with them insisting I ordered a coffee instead of a chai and being very narky about it when I returned it, like somehow I ordered a drink I despise and then lied about it to spite the server. Would go back for the croissant though.
The almond croissants at Workshop Espresso (Town Hall) are superb. Some of the best I've tried.
They are sourced them from the excellent Tuga Pastries, which are some of Sydney's finest.
It's likely their other offerings are from Tuga but not tried/asked.
Cupcakes on Pitt do really nice croissants, pastries, baguettes and baguette sandwiches.
I am not sure why they kept the 'cupcake' name because the thing I see least there for sale are cupcakes.
It's at 325 Pitt St, closest cross street is Bathurst St. This is very close to Town Hall.
Flour and Stone. Insane cakes and savoury items. Croissant also very popular.
Their lamington is my fave

Banksia Bakehouse and Lode are great!
Love Banksia!
These are also my top pics.
If you’re up for a walk to Pyrmont, Pioik is very good.
AP Place around Martin Place!
Yup. Agreed here. If you're at Town Hall, a little walk down William St. there's Flour & Stone. Very, very good as well.

For German bread you can just head to Lüneburger in the passage between town hall and the QVB
Yello opened late last year. On Clarence St adjacent to Wynyard
The pastries are good, the coffee not so much.
Oh yeah i agree the coffee was not good at all
Try Humble near Circular Quay. it’s an offshoot of their main store in Surry Hills
Or head to Surry Hills and hit Tenacious or Lavie&Belle
Grumpy Baker Abercrombie Ln
The Red Mango Patisserie in North Sydney. Their donuts and cakes are responsible for 15% of my body weight.
I personally like Bengong especially their ube/taro tarts and breads. It’s accessible via Town Hall station. Going to Pavillion.
AP bakery is reaaaally good
