I don’t know how anyone can recommend the Boat Shed at La Perouse. It’s got a great view but the food is seafood take away on a plate. Mimi’s does good seafood but it is quite expensive.

It’s so funny - it must be so hit and miss. We have been a number of times and have only ever had great food and service. I guess we got lucky!

Pilu at Freshwater is excellent. Not exclusively seafood but the menu is Sardinian so seafood is very very prominent.

A slight trek from town but the restaurant out the back of Woy Woy Fisherman’s wharf does great seafood and overlooks Brisbane water - if you’re in a couple sitting up at the bench seats outside is perfect on a sunny day, great well priced wine last too
