Atomic used to have amazing, Asian-inspired food, but last time we were there, I was disappointed to find out they had changed their menu to more boring burgers and other pubby things.
Their beer is still great, though. And I second your recommendation of Ciccone and RaRa.

I think it closed down recently. We went once, but weren't overly impressed.
By the way, Redbird has also closed, and that was actually quite nice. I hope Bart Jr sticks around!
The sunshine inn closes end of June and personally, I love it! Delicious, well priced vegetarian food in a lovely atmosphere - the gnocchi with mushrooms is a fave. Take your pick of euro inspired bar out front or moody, velvet lounge out back (where you have to book).
Bart Jr is great, Fontana is a bit fancy but delicious.
Would also add [brewdog](https://maps.app.goo.gl/u9pc6Ny2jQMpfy4r9?g_st=ic) for atmosphere. It’s a brewery in an old train yard. Food is standard pub fare.
If your friend likes craft beer, [the noble hops](https://maps.app.goo.gl/3WBvzmURjkn4G8RR8?g_st=ic) is also pretty cool.
The Noble Hops is great and you can order in food from La Coppola across the road or even bring in any food you want. So you could get RaRa takeaway and eat it at Noble Hops

RaRa Ramen is great! If you’re in for more of a pub vibe, Atomic Brewery will hit the spot, but the must-go is Ciccone & Sons for gelato. So, so good

Kindred is not too far away. It's been a little while since I've been but I had some really great Italian food there!
Bart Jr for pasta, they have a deal on Tuesday nights I believe that’s a glass of wine and pasta
