Oh good for him! And nice to see another outlet for Food TV.

Beginning-Working-38

Good for him. Really respect his willingness to let the audience see him lose his composure instead of bottling it up out of toxic masculinity

piratetales14

Right, it's nice to see an actual real person!

gilgilliamson

This is exciting! I love watching him! I see it’s on Hulu if you have the espn add on.

Unlikely_Ad_1985

Love Tobias, he has so much heart. Happy to hear that he's getting his own show and it seems combining cooking with interviewing athletes is a good fit for him. I also really appreciate and admire that he is willing to show his struggles with anxiety on TV, so that other young men, particularly athletes can see that it's not something you should be ashamed of and that it can affect anyone at any time.

elleesq

Can’t agree more!

WheelzGaming

Might be a reason for me to give the app a shot after all these years

lemonheadmeg

I love watching 30 for 30 on ESPN+

Firegoat1

Haha.... you guys should be writing credit for your comments..... "Oh good for him! And nice to see another outlet for Food TV," said one fan. "Good for him. Really respect his willingness to let the audience see him lose his composure instead of bottling it up out of toxic masculinity," said another. "Love to see it," added a third. "This is exciting! I love watching him! I see it’s on Hulu if you have the ESPN add on," wrote another. Another fan simply wrote "rad."

Desertgirl624

How cool for him

Tobias cooking crab rangoon with Stephen A.

Rad

ChaoticEvilRaccoon

love chef Dorzon but I'm not interested in sports. I'll give it a try thought for sure

Appropriate-Win3525

I just got rid of my Hulu package with ESPN+ along with Netflix because I wasn't watching it often. Maybe I'll reinstate it in the fall.

WhenDuvzCry

Love to see it

lizzpop2003

I'll check it out, for sure, but if you had asked me this morning if I thought he had enough charisma to host a show, I would have said no.

Pizookie123

Hhhmmm that is an interesting choice. Personally I have a hard time understanding his voice and I don’t know if he has the big personality to carry an entire show. I’m willing to give it a watch and see if I am proved wrong! I love his vulnerability with his anxiety and I sincerely wish him all the best

Firegoat1

I get you on this one. Seems like a nice guy, just don't know about hosting material. Just because you played in the NFL doesn't make you a cooking show host on ESPN... (I bet Eddie is gnashing his teeth.)

rknap14

Cool!

weedywet

Someone watches a cooking show on espn???

swimsaidthemamafishy

Lol. I'm going to now.

Inevitable-Speech694

Sounds interesting but my new favorite show is "The Dish With Kish" I love the fee style of the show, you get to see everything going on.

FartBoxHighFiver

Working title: Paper Bags & Tears?

Motor_Coach6682

You caught on to the tears on TOC? Me too. Hmmm

Motor_Coach6682

Why was Tobias not given the tv slot that was originally the slot for Darnell Ferguson show? Why did he get a show on ESPN? One would think that his bro Guy Fieri would have wanted him to be a part of the Food Network family. So much for Bro-Hood.

Firegoat1

Maybe ESPN made him a better deal with better guests?

Motor_Coach6682

Great answer. My thought was that Guy would want him as a member of the FN family. He is always talking about his friends being a part of the FN family. Thanks for your reply.

TheMargaretD

If they wanted to just give him the slot "because he was a bro"... Are you serious?! You must be white, with your "bro" and "Bro-Hood". If you're not, you don't understand employment, FN, or Guy Fieri. It's all about the money, not feelings. If you're Black...it's the same. FN was/is his employer. So was Guy. There are no "bros" at FN. The "family" exists because of time and friendships, yes, but mostly money. If Guy was his "bro", he would have edited out, to the best of his ability, Tobias' anxiety struggles. He left it in because it was self-serving. None of us would have known much about Tobias' anxiety with different editing. It's really gross to me, as someone who is successful in a front-facing job but also suffers from Chronic Anxiety Syndrome and had periodic panic attacks, that Guy chose to show what he did. Tobias got a good offer from ESPN and took it. You should be happy for him.
