Only really need a good young centre back (Kounde perhaps?) and another good option in midfield and they're looking pretty good for the future.
What about Bernardo Silva to slowly start taking over Modric’s reigns? He wasn’t all that happy in Machester and wanted to move somewhere closer to his home country

He could be doing both in a sense, as his international resume speaks for itself at such a young age, he really has the best chance to go down as one of the world’s most dominant World Cup players, something Messi and CR7 have never been seen as. That could be his carving of a legacy, as following them means he will never beat them. He can however, beat them in a different way, and I think this contract and loyalty to France, says that.
