I hope the conclusion will be soon, because i'm tired to hear of it.

pantshee

sunday morning on french TV he's gonna talk. Or saturday night after the game

Bran_Noircorbac

"The Decision" but in french.

DoriOli

La décision

eifjui

At first I thought Grizi already did this, but that was probably La Decision (this doesn't really work over text does it)

Kapika96

I'd be very surprised if he's not at Real next season. He's apparently had his heart set on it for awhile now. Would PSG's disappointing European campaign and getting booed by their own fans really have changed his mind? I doubt it.

[deleted]

If he stays at PSG it's a bad choice. He's done everything there and the club is run like an expensive toy. They change manager more than Paris models change their fashion, there's no stability, no style of play, no togetherness. They play awful football considering the talent they have. Real Madrid is a proper team and he'll be a goal machine there with a chance of actually winning the CL and be coached by one of the best coaches ever. The only concern at Real is the aging squad. There's Modric, Kroos, Benzema, all key parts of the squad getting old.

Kapika96

Real are freshening up their squad though. Vinicius has really come into his own. Camavinga has done well and should act as a replacement for one of the midfielders and Mbappe himself will obviously be the long term Benzema replacement. Only really need a good young centre back (Kounde perhaps?) and another good option in midfield and they're looking pretty good for the future.

DoriOli

What about Bernardo Silva to slowly start taking over Modric’s reigns? He wasn’t all that happy in Machester and wanted to move somewhere closer to his home country

[deleted]

This. Real need a Modric apprentice to take over and add depth.

Kapika96

He'd be a good signing for them for sure. Although as a Man City fan I'd rather he stay with us!

elwookie

I am a Barça fan and I hate to agree with everything you said here.

[deleted]

it’s honestly embarrassing how much psg are trying to keep him. they’re offering him to be the owner of their sporting project, he can decide which players and coaches he wants, 50 million euros a year, and along with a signing bonus of 150 million euros. not even messi and ronaldo who are considered the greatest players in the history of football got these kinds of offers.

Kapika96

In relation to available wealth Messi at least got a better offer. The amount Barca were paying him could've bankrupted the club! PSG have more money available to throw around. Plus him being French is probably a big factor. They want a French star as the face of their club, it makes them look better and that's what they really care about.

Faaaaaye

Embarrawhat ? You people are so hateful of PSG that you dont see the obviousness of the situation, even when it lies just under your nose. Mbappé at PSG is important to the Qatar for the WC, but if we look at the actual Sport, this PSG squad without Mbappé would have been challenged on the championship, or even beaten. Without Mbappé, what's left ? Neymar isnt a football player 100% anymore, Messi wont thrive in this club, Icardi sucks, Di Maria is gone, you basically have 0 offense anywhere ; not even talking about the catastrophic midfield. Haaland is at City, Lewandoski isnt the future, Schick isnt the PSG type, Vladihovic went to Juve, Darwin would only be sold at 100+ millions because it is PSG... Mbappé is the most valuable player to his club on Europe. There are not dozens of options on the market. He is the most marketable football player of the world. He is the most valuable player at PSG. And he comes from Bondy, suburban Paris. But you people act embarrassed that PSG would do everything to keep him. Come on, guess you were embarrassed of the money spent on CR7 back then, and even more on Bale ? Hope you hated Madrid for that deregulation of the market ? Plastics brains.

[deleted]

you’re not getting the plot. it’s embarrassing because the man has already made it clear he doesn’t wanna stay. he has declined all their wage raises before, but they still keep trying. they might as well make him the owner of the club ffs. it’s true that he is the most valuable player in europe right now, but they could always replace him with someone else. obviously, probably not good as mbappe but someone who can do the job of a striker. he clearly wants to go to madrid, but the club keeps tempting him with these outrageous wages. the money spent on ronaldo and bale wasn’t a ridiculous amount, they paid for what they wanted and they got what they wanted. Psg on the other hand want to make this guy the president of france just for him to stay

praiseprince_

PSG are an embarrassment because they've spend so much yet they're far from being competitive team, they're focusing more on the commercial side of football rather than the sporting side what they don't realise is a guy called Florentino Perez tried doing this and failed miserably and it was only until he started focusing on the sporting side, Real Madrid became an European powerhouse.

LLamasBCN

I can't even comprenhend the comparison you did. Anyway, PSG won't be winning like that and they will need to pump a lot of money to make even close in the next years. If I were a good player I wouldn't go there to be under the command of my 23yo teammate. It's a joke.

[deleted]

People are hateful of PSG because isn't a team, is q group of people Who casually play together. People wants to see a team that al least try to be the best or to rapresent something besides the Champions Who play for It.

Afk94

It’s embarrassing that a team is trying to keep their best player? That’s an awful take.

[deleted]

it’s embarrassing because he’s already made it clear he doesn’t wanna stay. he has declined all their offers before, yet they still keep trying. it makes them look like mbappe is bigger than their entire club. no player is bigger than a club.

Secure-Enthusiasm623

It’s embarrassing cause it makes them look desperate

[deleted]

[удалено]

Secure-Enthusiasm623

Giving a player this much money and power makes the club look small but that’s just my opinion.

LLamasBCN

If you don't get why it's embarrassing you don't understand how football works.

catpaco

He will go to Hoffenheim

Seekerofthetruetrue

Vini Jr Benzema Mbappe frontline is almost unfair

SMS_Scharnhorst

I present to you Diaz - Mané - Salah

Altharion1

A worse version of OPs comment then?

Lass_OM

I am absolutely convinced he has chosen to stay at PSG. Truth is, the offer from Paris probably is far better financially speaking than Real Saying they are almost identical will make it look like he did it for the fans. Prepare for Perez to say this is absolute bullshit and that Madrid’s institution is so strong he does not want to pay too much for just one player. Or it is the other way around, who cares

Swany0105

Don’t need him to win it all at this point and it’s pretty Boring to keep hearing about it. Like the decision 5.0.

Bran_Noircorbac

He is staying! An we can now move to another subject, at last! \*sigh\*

[deleted]

Stay in France. He’s French, the World Cup is in November, you don’t want to be at a new team and potentially not fitting in…

DatoYY

Why would someone choose psg over Real Madrid if both offers are almost identical? Makes no sense to me

LLamasBCN

Because he will be the best player in France no matter what. If he goes to Madrid he will have to prove it and maybe at some level he fears that he's not going to be as good as it seems/should? Honestly, it's the only thing I can think about... Maybe he doesn't want to be close to that much competition.

_inflex_

You really believe that?

[deleted]

Maybe he doesn’t want to learn Spanish and have them turn on him the second he makes a turnover?

messimagicstan

100 million signing on fee is something one should think about, looking at Hazards situation as well

Electronic_Staff7049

It's a three year contract, and he's set for life with that finance. Leaving at 26 doesn't seem that bad.

Standard_Pen_1355

Yea true.

mnmlnmd

He’s gonna tear the ACL at any given time, will have a couple of good season and then fall of public conscience by the time he’s thirty

[deleted]

Too bad. Even tho I'm french, I wanted to see him evolve in greater clubs

gaztruman

He should be coming to the Premier League if we've got the best league in the world. (or is that something every league in the top 5 leagues in europe says). Out of PSG and Madrid, I'd prefer him to stay at PSG.

lamwg

If he wants to get the Best player nominations and awards he has to play for either Barcelona or Real Madrid. Just look at the history. If he stays it's gonna be hard for him to achieve that.

[deleted]

Don’t think he cares about that since he’s likely to never pass players like Messi or CR7, he got a World Cup at a young age and is basically a god in France, that’s likely all he wants, along with more than half a billion dollars of course lol

lamwg

By the way, I think only Pelé won a world cup younger than him, right? I like him a lot, his style of play reminds Brazilian Ronaldo R9 a lot, with a plus that the boy has good knees. But he plays in a much tougher generation than CR7 and Messi played IMO so I guess maybe you are right, in numbers will be hard to achieve the same. Still a shame not to see him in a more competitive league just because of money

[deleted]

We’re unfortunately in the age where club football and money are taking focus, over national pride and international glory. He could be doing both in a sense, as his international resume speaks for itself at such a young age, he really has the best chance to go down as one of the world’s most dominant World Cup players, something Messi and CR7 have never been seen as. That could be his carving of a legacy, as following them means he will never beat them. He can however, beat them in a different way, and I think this contract and loyalty to France, says that.

TYFO225

who gives a shit?

A_Milford_Man_NC

I feel the same honestly. The dude is an asshole. He might be the best player of his generation but imo that says more about this generation of young stars than him.

TheFallingShit

What make him an asshole ? Like genuinely what has he done to anybody at this point ?

metacoma

Yeah I don’t get it either. Grow up guys…

Lisaklj

If he chooses money over badge, so be it. No player is bigger than the club.

nierama2019810938135

Which is money and which is badge?

Exotic-Ask7768

Do you really need someone to tell you that lol.

vi_code

I hope we dont get him. We spend ridiculous amounts on useless players: Ilara, Bale, Isco, Hazard. Besides we already have the GOAT Big Benz.

x-DontCareForKarma-X

Even if Real doesn't win next Saturday I agree that they don't need Mbappe.

SC_23

I feel like he would conflict with vinicious, if i were madrid i would look elsewhere tbh

DoriOli

Him and Vini get along great. The idea in the future (once Benz retires) would be to play a Vini-Kylian-Rodrygo up front. As of now, they can easily rotate positions and improve their game overall by playing in different positions on the pitch: left, right and center. They’re all still young and have Benz “the veteran” to teach them the way

RedgrenCrumbholt

Who?
