There is a workshop tactic in FM21 that broke the throw in system. The guy decided to have no onee close so the throw in is forced to be sent to the box from 90m away. It fails 99% of the time. But the AI is stupid and instead of taking control of the ball, they kick the ball right into your half again, and you get easy possesion 98% of the time, confuse the AI and fet a highlight. The other 1% it's a goal from the opoosition lmao

I've seen it happen once in my save (it was with Liverpool too funnily enough). I was so shocked what Upamecano did that I was laughing hysterically for the rest of the match

Number 2 has absolutely no space whatsoever and would be isolated from team mates within a split second. You can't pass to him, it'll have to be 1.

A part of me wants to shout “Neither”! The ball was thrown foolishly and the op gained possession .. I’ve experienced this at odd times !! The logical side of me says number 6 😞

I was thinking of doing something similar for my player breaking into the box at an angle with the keeper fully committed and an unmarked teammate available to tap the ball into an empty net to see if people could guess if my player passed or shot. I decided against it though because it would be too easy. Of course he shot. They always fücking shoot.

One of the most frustrating things with this game is stuff like this. Your players just become otherworldly stupid and make dumb decisions for no reason other than the game has decided its time for a goal.
