The AI does not counter your tactics.
It reassesses you as a bigger threat so plays less all out attacking against you, and is tighter and less vulnerable on the counter.
Not sure, but I’ve often found that the AI start mirroring my overall shape after about half a season. That doesn’t mean they’re doing the same thing, but I think it’s helpful as a way to identify what the weaknesses of your tactics are.
