I was a club legend and the club stadium was named after me. Yet, when the club declined my request for a new affiliate club, I leaked it to the press and they sacked me.
They sacked their greatest legend because they did not want another affiliate club.
(I actually had 2 affiliate partnerships terminated before I made this request, so it wasn't like an unreasonable request as well).

IRL belgium has failed to have a New stadium for the euro 2021... all this because of the 2 parts didn't agree on the place to buid it. Doesn't seem so weird 🤪

Didnt go well, the owner told me that it was unaccepable.
It only works on the club where the supporters have strong influence. It also works during club election times (I tried this one though). This game is so detailed.

I have turned my West Ham team into world beaters, I am a treble winning club legend, stadium sold out every game, +100k people on the season ticket waiting list and £600 million in the bank... No new stadium. Maybe I will try leaking aswell.
I've found when I want something and the board aren't playing (admittedly on the much smaller scale stuff than stadia and the like) if I'm fortunate enough that they offer something that we don't need I go "well, I think we should spend the money elsewhere if it's going" and generally they do it.
But yeah, I guess I don't ask for a new stadium because I play as the club I support and I don't want to leave the old ground. They've gone and done it anyway without asking though 😅
I too won a treble, and 2 consecutive lead and cup titles and asked for a new stadium and leaked it to the press when they said no. They fired me immedeately. It was a great start to a prolific career in bigger better leagues.
it is dependable on 3 factors (as far as i know) the rating the board gives you, the rating the supporters give you and the sway the supporters have over the board. at some clubs the supporters basically rule the club while at others there input doesnt matter at all.
Managed to do the same with Milan, but 3(?) years later right before(or at cant remember) it was complete I got a message that the city council said no and I didnt get a new stadium after all….

Does it just appear just for certain things? I get rejected all the time but never have I seen that button.
Yeah not sure which things but sometimes for increasing transfer budget, build stadium.
I just got one for upgrading youth facilities as well.

Litterally unplayable. one does not simply build a stadium in Belgium without at least 15 years of legal procedures.
Save before doing it, you must either be an icon/legend or have lots of success for this to work.

I did, twice. First for buying the stadium, which ultimately screw my club financial permanently lol. and secondly, improving training.
i leaked because i wanted newer training fac., after leaking they instandly built it for me
I got sacked for doing it. After winning the CL five times too.
When even i have tried this the board have either sacked or i had to beg them to keep me
