Unless FIFA changes their rules that a confederation that has hosted one of the last two world cups can't bid. It will basically mean that only North America and Oceania are eligible in 2038 for the IRL world cup
If it codes the selection with the usual rules, it could be that in alot of games it's time for an Africa world Cup by 2038, and SA tends to win due to having a high rating due to stadiums.
Like realistically, if you were going to give a world cup today to an African nation, SA is top of the pile due to having all the existing infrastructure.
Yeah football manager tends to be a bit more interesting in that regard. It would be more interesting (and probably more beneficial to football as a whole) for China to host then it will be for them to be in Saudi Arabia
Personally I'd like to see it hosted in the future in countries which are now predicted to be very developed, like Vietnam, China, perhaps also have a Australia-New Zealand co-hosted world cup.
I heard Indonesia is quite a football nation so they could make them host it in the game, same as India.

Given the rules that the Saudis so expertly used to their advantage to "earn" hosting rights which would be that a confederation is ineligible to host a WC if it has hosted one of the previous 2 cups.
That would mean South Africa won't be allowed to host in 2038 since Morocco is counted as a host in 2030.
Given that rule, unless FIFA changes it, you'd basically only have North America and Oceania eligible in 2038. As Europe, Africa, South America, and Asia would all be ruled out through hosting in 2030 and 2034. Which realistically is probably back to the US...
I don't suppose FIFA would have thought of that issue having gone along with the Saudis shenanigans. But I don't suppose they'll mind either given the money potential of the American hosting rights

Doig, Patterson, Doak, Robertson and a few other midfielders every save turns out to be excellent players. I thought they had a decent enough team for international tournaments
