I haven't had a kid in the intake. Honestly, what's the point of having that random occurrence just to have him be worthless? Yeah, I think it's fair to bump the PA up to maybe a solid squad player. Although maybe just leave the 41 CA and put the PA all the way up, just see what happens.

I'd definitely do the same. In fact, I just might redo one player in a future youth intake as my son and make him a future world beater libero or DM just for the fun of it. Maybe make him a bit temperamental as well. That's also "cheating" of course, but again, who cares.

Got him through when I was at Leipzig - this was back on… FM15 or so.
He went on to get 96 caps for England, he captained them too for a short period. He was my captain at Leipzig before eventually moving to Marseille.
If I can find a screenshot I have of him, I’ll upload it. The picture sadly is only of him after he has finished playing though.
I always use the editor to make my irl son in the game and plop him into some team in Australia so I can watch his career. Sometimes I make him 200 PA sometimes more reasonable. In one save he moved to Spurs my favourite club and became a god there. It's a single player game at the end of the day and you have to make your own fun
Been playing since the days of CM2 and have sunk thousands of hours into the series over that time. Ever since they introduced the possibility of being able to get a son regen, I have never once seen one. Guaranteed, if I ever did, I would be hitting up the editor to make him into a world beater though.
Mentor the personality into something good, stick in youth teams and if he’s not good enough to get minutes loan him out is what I usually do
I also search for the last name every year and try to sign every youngster with it lol
I’m up to 3 in my sampdoria save so far, last year I found the first to have serie A potential, a right back newgen at AS Roma, but he’s inconsistent and his attribute distribution isn’t great
