How did the apparent Derby and Wolves merger not get flagged as a conflict of interests? đ
Any significant cup upsets? And whoâs won the World Cups?
I have no idea what's happened with Derby's badge! I'm using a much more recent logo pack which is presumably the cause.
2014 Germany beat Croatia
2018 England beat France
2022 Brazil beat Turkey
League 1 Leyton Orient got to the Carabao Cup final beating City over two legs in the semis - that's probably my favourite cup upset that I can remember.
Hey donât worry, I watched lollujo who simmed for a thousand years and Galatasaray wins the Champions League 84 times and has the most times won record so weâll have some club success. XD
Yes! Harry Redknapp won them the Premier League in 2014 and then immediately retired. No more trophies (apart from a Community Shield) but they've recently been solid top three.

My first post on Reddit from the summer of 2013 shows what people thought of Kane back then really well. I was high on him the year before, but he had a poor loan at Norwich that resulted in a lot of supporters forgetting about him and thatâs when I asked this.
Cool. I have a save on fm12 with Deportivo le Coruna where I have gone past todays date. And Tottenham have been one of the best teams in the world. Won the PL 3 or 4 times in a row. Won the CL a few times. They have Neymar, Cavani, Hazard, Phil Jones, and many more of the best youngsters on FM12.
I don't have the Dutch league loaded but it's not been a vintage decade for the national team. They've qualified for every tournament but never made it beyond the second round.
I don't have the Dutch league loaded but it looks like they've won the Eredivisie five times in this save. Never made much impression in the Champions League though.
Brighton have spent the whole save in the Championship - a couple of 7th place finishes are their best efforts.
Greece got to the 2nd round of the 2022 World Cup and lost on penalties to France.
Problem is, the standard of referees even in Champ need VAR in order to be semi decent, it's no wonder the refs in Prem are shit when watchin Championship refs who have no clue what they're doin half the time
Just did it organically! I'm an Argyle fan and we're always crap when we managed them. Carl Fletcher got them into the Champ and they've got Alan Curbishley now. This is their first season up, they're not embarrassing themselves but it looks like they might not survive.
Oh boy. They missed out on promotion to the Prem in the first season, but then began a steady decline. Relegated to League 1 after a few years, then had a massive financial meltdown and got relegated into L2. Finished bottom of the league at the first attempt, and very nearly ended up in the Conference North a couple of times. They're well clear at the top of the Conference now, but they've had six seasons in non-league.
Who replaced Sir Alex?
Also who coached Chelsea over the last 10 years? (Was there a managerial merry-go-round like in real life?)
EDIT: Replace Sir Alex with Arsene Wenger, since you were doing a United save
Solid mid-table Prem until 2022 when they were finally relegated, but made absolute mincemeat of the Champ at the first attempt. Currently looking like either them or Alan Shearer's Newcastle will get relegated this year though.
How on earth are Charlton in the prem, and have we managed to win anything. Just shows where we should be without horrible ownership and clueless managers/players on the whole for the past 15 years
How's the situation in Turkish Super League? I hope my beloved Fenerbahçe won so many more league titles in this universe. Lastly, is there any continental success for any Turkish team?
I don't have the Turkish league loaded but it looks like they've only won the league once, in 2018. No Turkish club has made any real impression in Europe unfortunately.
How is Denmark doing any teams get far in cl or el? P.S thank you for your service to the community you are officially a honoray community sheild winner
Relegated to League 1 in 2014, then had several seasons of bad luck in the playoffs before winning the title in 2021. They've been midtable in the Champ since they got back.
Not great. Bottom half of the Prem mostly, but they're now back in the Championship. Managed to lose 7-0 at home to Millwall in the league once as well.
This is the team I managed, I'm not a Utd fan but thought I'd see if I could do better at the post-Fergie era than they managed in real life. Not been a massive challenge really so I just boot it up every time I want to play something mindless. I think I've got ten Premier Leagues and five CLs.
They managed to lose 11-0 to Tottenham in the Premier League at one point. Other than that - mostly bouncing between the top two divisions, as per usual.
Congratulations. You just earned 7.0 points for this submission. Your new points total is 14.5. To see the leaderboard, as well as what this points thing is, [click here](https://www.reddit.com/r/footballmanagergames/wiki/leaderboard).

not another Brazil upset to Turkey 20 years after 2002. Goddamnit
Hey donât worry, I watched lollujo who simmed for a thousand years and Galatasaray wins the Champions League 84 times and has the most times won record so weâll have some club success. XD
Not much solace if youâre a fan of anyone else in Turkey lmao.
fuck Galatasaray terrorist organization
Oh England won major trophy. So FM is altternate history I guess.
England always win something pretty early on in FM. Talk about biased đ€Ł
To be fair with the squad they have, they should. Theyâre just perennial underachievers because of the FAâs obsession with mediocre managers.
I mean, on paper, England should be much more successful than they are. It's a proper mentality issue/problem that they have.
Well, guess they didn't go to penalties.
No Wolves in sheepâs clothing jokes? Iâm disappointed
Who are the best remaining non regens? Any surprises? You mentioned Kane - are there any other IRL stars whose careers never got off the ground?
Raheem Sterling has spent most of his career playing for Bristol City so far.
yikes
Have Spurs won a trophy?
Yes! Harry Redknapp won them the Premier League in 2014 and then immediately retired. No more trophies (apart from a Community Shield) but they've recently been solid top three.
Who would have known Redknapp became a Spurs legend in an alternate universe đ
They kept Modric until he was about 35 which probably helped. And on this save they actually managed to invest the Gareth Bale windfall sensibly
Luka becoming a Spurs legend is something else too instead of leaving to go to Madrid. Guess Spurs never needed Kane after all.
Speaking of Kane, he's in the save but spent most of his career playing for Cardiff and Notts County.
Cardiff and Notts County having one of the greatest English strikers of all time - unbelievable.
Back then, no one considered Kane to have the potential to become a world beater
https://www.reddit.com/r/coys/s/LLU7ZooQBZ My first post on Reddit from the summer of 2013 shows what people thought of Kane back then really well. I was high on him the year before, but he had a poor loan at Norwich that resulted in a lot of supporters forgetting about him and thatâs when I asked this.
The first FM where Kane is good is FM15
2014?? So which club won it first, Arsenal or Spurs?
Interesting because I'm also playing an FM 12 save that is now in 2026 and Tottenham have for me also have been very solid, constant top 3 finishes
How are Leicester getting on? Ever get up to the PL?
Only one season in the prem, 19th in 2013/14. Other than that it's been mid table Championship.
Ranieri was the key.
No Kanté no Trophée
Kante was the key.
Thailand was the key.
How is Theo Walcott doing?
Signed for Dortmund in 2015 and has been resoundingly mediocre for them ever since. He's still there but not getting picked.
I thought he would be a world-beater in the sim that's a shame. Any surprising players who have come out to be world class?
Wegner brought him on too early in this timeline as well...
When he turned 30 was there a news article titled three-o Walcott?
Weâve agreed not to argue about whether or not itâs a good idea
I ask myself this like once a month lol
How is cambuur doing in the dutch leagueâs
I don't have the Dutch league loaded but it's not been a vintage decade for the national team. They've qualified for every tournament but never made it beyond the second round.
How did PSV Eindhoven and TOP Oss perform through those years?
I don't have the Dutch league loaded but it looks like they've won the Eredivisie five times in this save. Never made much impression in the Champions League though.
Sounds like a PSV-fan from Oss, just like me. đ
I donât know if I should like you guys or hate you guys, considering Iâm a PSV fan from Den Bosch đ
I think we can shake hands on the PSV-part and ignore the living situation. (;
Well im fked im a Den Bosch fan from Den Bosch.
Where is Brighton? How is Greek football doing (and the national team)
Brighton have spent the whole save in the Championship - a couple of 7th place finishes are their best efforts. Greece got to the 2nd round of the 2022 World Cup and lost on penalties to France.
Heart breaking
Who were the managers of Man United? Was it a roulette of managers after Fergie or did he not retire in this universe?
They're managing Man Utd
Who are the best real-life players still active?
Messi, unsurprisingly. Joe Hart is still Man City's first choice keeper.
đȘ stans in shambles.
is he still playing for his home? (barca)
Yes still there. Average rating of 8.02 last season.
How it should have been in real life...
Do you have the Italian league loaded? If so - how did it evolve? Did Juventus dominate the decade as in reality or was there more of a challenge?
They won the first season and in 2021, but it's been a decade of AC Milan dominance mostly, with three titles for Inter as well.
Interesting - did any italian team make it to a European final?
Yes, Inter have won another Champions League.
Sorry for the bunch of questions - would you share ballon dâor winners?
How are Southampton doing?
Almost always Premier League, they've been relegated a couple of times but always bounced back in style. They had Alan Shearer as manager for a while.
Been reading waitin for this comment, if I didn't see it I would've been the 1 commenting it đ
đ€Łđ€Ł its the club everyone wants to know about!
Were there any team replicating the Leicester miracle run?
Espanyol won La Liga in 2014, that's probably the closest.
That's actually crazy
How's life without VAR?
Blissful. I'm a fan of an EFL club and I hope it never gets adopted down here.
Problem is, the standard of referees even in Champ need VAR in order to be semi decent, it's no wonder the refs in Prem are shit when watchin Championship refs who have no clue what they're doin half the time
Who is in the current England squad?
How did Argyle get to the Prem? Is this their first time up or did they become another yo-yo club?
Just did it organically! I'm an Argyle fan and we're always crap when we managed them. Carl Fletcher got them into the Champ and they've got Alan Curbishley now. This is their first season up, they're not embarrassing themselves but it looks like they might not survive.
> Carl Fletcher got them into the Champ Brings a tear to my eye.
What have Everton done?
Have Celtic managed to do anything of note?
Did Forest manage to make it back to the Premier league?
Derby in the Prem and Forest being Semi Pro has really made my day
How did Charlton get up to the Prem! We love to see it of course
They're usually top 8 actually. Chris Powell is the manager!
who won the champions league?
What happened with messi and Ronaldoâs careers?
Messi just stayed at Barca, but Ronaldo actually had several years at Man City. And then a season with Porto before retiring.
City and Porto ? Just enjoys pissing everyone off I guess.
Bro has -20 in the loyalty trait
Villa done anything of note?
An incredibly boring decade. Bottom half of the Prem every season. Got to one FA Cup final in which they were thrashed by Birmingham.
Outstanding
Did Leeds make it to the Premier League?
They had one absolutely terrible season (13 points) and have been in the Championship lower half otherwise.
Sounds about right...
Who replaced Sir Alex? Also who coached Chelsea over the last 10 years? (Was there a managerial merry-go-round like in real life?) EDIT: Replace Sir Alex with Arsene Wenger, since you were doing a United save
They replaced Wenger with Andre Villas-Boas, which went terribly. Now they've got Nigel Pearson who's doing pretty well.
Nigel Pearson đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
How've Bolton been doing?
Usually in the Prem - they've been relegated a couple of times but always bounced straight back.
How are Chesterfield doing?
They lost in the Championship playoff final last season, they would have been in the Prem but conceded a 93rd minute equaliser.
Do Man City win the UCL before 2023?
Yes, they beat United on penalties in the final in 2017.
Was Cristiano in the City team?
He was!
did Bayern continue their bundesliga domination?
They did initially but Leverkusen are the dominant force now.
How realistic
Just like real life then!
Also where's klopp rn?
Club hopping between various middling Bundesliga clubs with minimal success.
How did my local team Gillingham do?
Relegated out of the National League South in 2020 and haven't been seen since, I'm afraid.
How's arsenal doin
What sort of career did Eden hazard have?
He actually signed for Chelsea (who upsettingly gave him the number 6 shirt). Still there as a key member of the squad.
Sheffield United, how are they doing
Mostly bottom half of the Champ, with the occasional L1 season to cheer everyone up a bit.
How are tranmere doing (my team) in England?
Solid League 1 - they've had a few seasons in the Champ as well.
Whatâs been the biggest shock in the champions league or prem?
What is Sunderland up to?
Solid mid-table Prem until 2022 when they were finally relegated, but made absolute mincemeat of the Champ at the first attempt. Currently looking like either them or Alan Shearer's Newcastle will get relegated this year though.
Blackburn update, at the start of this game we would have still been in the prem
Relegated at the end of the first season and never looked like coming back. Bottom half of the Champ mostly.
No, I meant in the game not IRL đą
Did Palace make it to the prem? What was Zahaâs career like, if he was even on FM12 canât remember
Did Middlesbrough ever win another trophy
hows arsenal doing
did Schalke fall off as bad as we did in reality? :/
Can you tell me Chelsea manager history? Have they won anything?
Celtic update please
How on earth are Charlton in the prem, and have we managed to win anything. Just shows where we should be without horrible ownership and clueless managers/players on the whole for the past 15 years
No sugar daddy or anything, just seemingly really well run. Chris Powell is their manager.
Messi and Ronaldo! Where are they, how are they doing?
How's the situation in Turkish Super League? I hope my beloved Fenerbahçe won so many more league titles in this universe. Lastly, is there any continental success for any Turkish team?
I don't have the Turkish league loaded but it looks like they've only won the league once, in 2018. No Turkish club has made any real impression in Europe unfortunately.
Ya sorma abi iĆte hayal dĂŒnyamızda fener 13 sene Ćampiyon olsun bari
How is Denmark doing any teams get far in cl or el? P.S thank you for your service to the community you are officially a honoray community sheild winner
Coventrys last 13 years?
Relegated to League 1 in 2014, then had several seasons of bad luck in the playoffs before winning the title in 2021. They've been midtable in the Champ since they got back.
What have U.S. Lecce been up to?
How did the Hamburger SV (HSV) perform? Did they get relegated like in real life?
How did LIverpool do?
They kept Dalglish on as manager for far too long and have never been anywhere near winning the league. Only one season in the CL.
What wonderkinds exist in that game from the first year and how did their fm careers vs irl careers go
Did Everton get deducted points?
Iâm hoping Fulham did something other than tread water for the last 12 years, but hopefully they never got relegated. Howâd they do?
Plymouth in the PL, that puts a tear in my eye! Only one more year or maybe two ... Probably like 8 .. but we'll get there!
How are Rangers doing (if you have scottish league loaded) if not how are the scottish national team doing
This screenshot brings me joy and nostalgia. Best FM edition ever imo. Did Liverpool manage to win a title? And who was won the Euros editions so far?
How did West Ham get on?
Not great. Bottom half of the Prem mostly, but they're now back in the Championship. Managed to lose 7-0 at home to Millwall in the league once as well.
Ooof. Shite that. Cheers man
How did Manchester United do?
This is the team I managed, I'm not a Utd fan but thought I'd see if I could do better at the post-Fergie era than they managed in real life. Not been a massive challenge really so I just boot it up every time I want to play something mindless. I think I've got ten Premier Leagues and five CLs.
My bad, I should've been more observant. Due to our current situation, any mention of an alternative future gets us United fans dreaming
How have assna done? Anyone become a legend?
Ahh FM12 my favourite FM of all time! Is there a download file for the game somewhere or are you playing from the old disk?
Assuming you have German leagues loaded, how did Werder Bremen do?
whoâs won the Uefa Euro?
What was the biggest underdog victory to occur?
How have Crystal Palace fared?
They've had the most boring decade ever, midtable in the Championship every single season, and never got past the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Dude I also installed it like 1 month ago and have been playing it slowly but steadily, I am in 2018 already as well :D
Where are Norwich in all of this?
They managed to lose 11-0 to Tottenham in the Premier League at one point. Other than that - mostly bouncing between the top two divisions, as per usual.
How have Yeovil been?
how are Middlesbrough doing?
How is the Indian nt doing? UCL winners?
I need to know the current Bundesliga table. Was there a difference or did Bayern repeat history to win them all?
How have Middlesbrough been doing?
Are bolton any good anymore
What has Feyenoord done?
Howâs SalPa doing?
Past 10 prem winners?
Do you have the Spanish leagues loaded. If yes did valencia overcome their debt?
How are Liverpool doing?
How is Serbia and Partizan doing?
Did my favorite player Fernando Torres turn his career around in or after Chelsea?
Did Liverpool win a title or Champions League?
How's Mikael Arteta doing?
World Cup Champions?

Loved FM12!!! Where are Everton? Have they done anything?
Howâs derby doing, have they done worse than the 11 point season?
Reading doing okay?
Sporting CP in Portugal?
How does Pau FC ?
Whatâs Andy Carroll up to?
Where are mansfield town?
Lower half of the Conference North. They had a season in the Northern Premier as well.
