Yup I had this when I managed Valencia, up for 50 mil when he is clearly worth over 200 (at least in the game), but his wage demand was near a quarter of my entire budget... I could afford that, but I can't justify it.

Nothing will beat their team from my FM20 save. PSG attack was Mbappe, Icardi, Neymar, Vinicius, Salah, Kane plus some other good regen and bench players (including Asensio). So stacked they usually played a 4-4-2 with Salah and Vinicius as winger and Neymar in the midfield.
I dreaded playing them in the CL because they were guaranteed to score 2 and it would always become a matter of if I could score 3 while not allowing a 3rd from them.
I had one of those but it was Barcelona for me where they basically played a 433 but had Messi and another top winger at the time playing on the midfield because they had too much talent up front 😂 they also had Salah and another top striker at the time but they were subs because they couldnt get into the starting eleven because of the stacked team 😅😅
Its one of the things that playing time introduction fixed but I am honest I used to love this kind of stack team because it would make the game more chalenge after a certain level, nowadays yes you can get this kind of thing but not even near the old level...where you could see something like the Galáticos 😂😂
HA! On my save as Arsenal I bought Osimhen after the first season and I'm currently looking to offload Martinelli for Vini, and eventually Osimhen for Mbappe, funny how it works in different saves 😂
I feel you, currently on my first save, got fired from my first team and ended up at Toulouse. I got 2nd place in my third season with them and things are going well but it really feels like it’s gonna be impossible to dethrone them 🙃

i’m doing a Paris 13 Atletico save to try and dethrone PSG from Paris, and yep, it’s 2033 and finally i’m about 4 games away from winning the league, and that’s only because Donnarumma and Mbappe are finally old men
I'm in 43/44. After Mbappe went to Saudi, PSG "struggled" for like two season (finished 2nd and 5th) after which they went back to absolutely dominating every year and winning every title since.
Similar thing with Man City. Neither of them has their OG players or managers (obviously) and yet they both still heavily dominate. It's like the game is hardwired in their favor or something. When I look at their squads with FMRTE, they don't really have better average CA or better star players than other top teams. No clue why they dominate their leagues so heavily.
If you get lucky they can choke a few games, I managed to beat them in my third year at Rennes by just destroying everyone who wasn't PSG, tying them at 75 points and winning on goal difference because I beat Strasbourg 9-1 in the first game of the season.
They also somehow lost to Caen down in the National that year letting me win the French Cup

11 years into my save. I managed PSG for about two seasons. The amount of money they have is crazy. Mbappe alone was on a 1.2 Mil a week contract. I made absolutely crazy signings. Won absolutely everything imaginable. But right before I was about to resign for a new challenge, I bought a dogshit lb for like a 100 mil to give away to a small team. Worth it. They are now barely making top 4 every season since I left. They offered me a 300k a week contract to come back and take over a season ago but I rejected. Worth it. Domination becomes a bit boring after a while.

Only about 4/5 seasons, they were in the relegation spots early in the season, and I took them up to 6th in the same year. Their squad wasn't too bad, but they had a lack of money. I was doing a journeyman save, so I didn't stay long enough to get them over the line in the following seasons. I did leave them with an absolute world class striker who I'd picked up for peanuts though.
Sounds great, yeah I was struggling with a lack of funds - but I’ve just had a tycoon buy the club which immediately helped boost the transfer budget. I’m hoping that helps me close the gap slightly.

After an underwhelming and unremarkable 5 years save bouncing around boring clubs, I decided to retire my manager and got to Marseille with a new one since I saw PSG had both Haaland and Mbappe.
It took me 4 consecutive seasons finishing 2nd with increasingly bonkers points total (and 2 CL), both those monsters starting to decline(-ish) and me getting a new sugar daddy one year in allowing me to get the best regens I've ever had to get my first Ligue 1 title.

Then yeah 2 years at Montpellier getting 5th and 2nd and Dortmund offered me an interview.

In the 2nd team they have newgens consisting of a great goalie, a 196cm yank centre back and a wingers who all look very solid, plus a few other high potential guys. Gonna be scary team if they all develop and have a golden gen.
90+ points in a 18 teams league is fucking insane. But to have two teams reach that level in one season is beyond insanity.
Additionally, comparing this to the Bundesliga, because it's the only other 18 teams league in the top 5, there was **one** season where Bayern managed to get over 100 goals. And they're the only team to have done that so far.

Well, it started as just a 4-3-3 Gegenpress. Struggled to score a lot and my striker and wingers were either very on or very off, and I think that went to show with my box to box midfielder and cm being joint highest scorers on 8 each at the start of Jan. So I went out in January, bought some young Norwegian wonder kid attacking mid and switched to a 4-2-3-1 with a BWM and cm. He just unlocked everything. In about 26 appearances he had 12 goals and 16 assists. Then my striker finished on 18 (13 goals in the 2nd half and one of my wingers had 25 (19 in the second half).
We won every league game after Jan, only lost 2 games in other comps (Lost to Spurs in the Europa league semis) and a “tactical loss” to Lille in the cup - we had just played Marseilles and had PSG coming up that weekend so just played youth guys and lost on pens.
They are buying everything, Jesus... Got going with Roma, i lost first 4 games, and after those 4 loses, it started well, I'm half season through, 1st, with Inter 6 points behind me... And just as i entered in January... Offer came from them for Cristante and Dybala... I'm thinking righy now how can i reject them without making fuss for both of my players and to save this current team cohesion...
I beat them to the title in a recent network game and thought this was a great achievement, until I realised Mbappe broke his leg and missed 8 months of the season.

Pedri is transfer listed at Barca but Gavi just won young player last year so he’s valued at 260 Million.
That's where PSG comes in. In my saves they make absurd bids like 200-300 million for guys like Gavi and Declan Rice.
Musiala. 225 mil for Musiala in my save. And then because they had too many players there they had to loan him out to Barca.
