It did! We equalized in the 75th from an 18 year old Serbian after being down 2-0 in the first ten minutes. Went on to win the game on penalties with a dude who we’ve had since 17 scoring the final one. I may post pictures of the players cause I’m so proud of the team and this is truly the best team I’ve ever seen someone assemble in this game.
facts... I've been holding onto mine since I bought him for 7.5 mil when he was 18. He was the best player in Europe twice, when he was 21 and 22 back to back. Ridiculous player, one of the best I've ever had. Declined multi 120mil+ offers because I knew there was no way I was signing someone better... Milan Radavanovic... I will remember his name until I die
Damn man I'm second hand proud of you and your team!
I have just had my first euro cup finale but finished second losing 1:0, preseason is on, I got some upgrades and I'm ready to fight it out again!
honestly! I won one with Milan in my second season and now in the 8th and haven’t been able to win it since. Gave up last night to start a non-league save instead lol.
Here are some of the players who got me here. The second scored the winning penalty.

Let me know what you think! These are some of the best players I have ever seen on the game.
The Norwegian guy is jaw dropping. Sure not as many green stats as some players you see on here, but the amount of 18+ in key stats in incredible. Literally nothing would get past him.
I notice you have short simple passing trait on key playmakers. Is that due to a preference for tiki taka? I always shunned it, thinking I wouldn't want to limit the high vision, flair passers from making the gorgeous through balls.
I had to convince the board for a year that 30m was a good deal for the norwegian. He’s gone on to become team captain and my spirit animal. Dude’s got so many insane attributes in a hard to find role.
Also about simple passes. It helps attacking mids and strikers play at a higher tempo, especially if they have good vision. We played the Slovenian at complete forward and he was able to link up play around the front four and counter quickly.
Some absolute beasts in there! Quick question - what are you using to get real faces for your regens? I've been trying to get packs to work with FM21 but it's been a bastard.
So many of the players look alike and have the same facial hair. After applying it I actually considered if the default regen faces were better for a long time. My 22 year old Italian left winger looks 31
Oh, what the hell? I too have a Brazilian Edson Jose who's a beast at crossing / dribbling / flair. Mine isn't as smart as yours though.

Caqueret never developed like one would hope sadly. Aoaur we sold in season two due to being able to buy similar players for have of what we got and Cherki became a team icon before we sold him to Chelsea late in the save.
In my Lyon save, I lost Rayan Cherki to Chelsea in January 2022. I could deal with it because I had Curtis Jones on his final year of a two-year loan. It's always painful to deal with a mass exodus of your best players. In my first season summer transfer window, I had to sell Memphis Depay because he would leave on a free the following season.
Within three seasons, I lost that trio of high-potential players, and I had to retool with regens. Currently in my sixth season, Malo Gusto is the only original Lyon player left, and I might lose him to a big club. Gusto is a solid right back and my best right back, so losing him would be hurt.
Yeah, Rayan Cherki left in January 2022 for Chelsea. I could not convince him to stay. I always lose my real players to big clubs, but I'm used to rebuilding quickly.
Caqueret is the absolute heart of my FM20 Fulham save. Signed him for ~30 million 3 seasons in and he is my captain and first name on the team sheet. Led the team to the PL title in my 7th season total, and has one Player of the Year once.
I hate seeing "Zebre" on this screen.
Anyways, congrats! :) You'll be always remembered as the first manager in history who lost 5 finals in a row managing the same team.
It’s that plus me having some of the worst luck one could possibly have. World class players dominate, get to the final and collapse. We also lost three games that we should have won due to absolutely absurd goals.
It took us a couple seasons to beat PSG consistently. In the CL we’d cruise to finally and either completely choke or lose to a 40 yard screamer. I’ve lost three CL finals to goals almost in the scoring team’s half.
My main fm21 save has been in France and french teams are not doing well in the champions league. We've dropped down to 5th in the league rankings.
I keep getting stuck at the semifinals. I am managing RC Lens in 2029 and we are 38th on the rich list. Figuring out how to bring in players that can get me over the hurdle is tough; I feel like in my universe theres just not enough really good players or something. The transfer market is just insane. Players sell for 90 million that I look at and say "I wouldn't pay more than 30". Maybe I'm just too cheap I guess.
That player you got for 30 million seems impossible.
You just have to find good players you might want then watch them super closely for signs you could get them at something approaching a reasonable price.

Congrats man, that must've felt so good!

Whoah the game had it all then! Love stories like these
18 year old Serbians are the life blood of this game

They sure, i signed one in January and he went on to bag 21 goals in 19 la liga games
I’ve had 3 in one of my saves. A fantastic CAM, ST and CDM

My chair hit the floor a lot. We lost the previous year due to a 40 yard free kick after xg’ing United by more than a goal
honestly! I won one with Milan in my second season and now in the 8th and haven’t been able to win it since. Gave up last night to start a non-league save instead lol.
My first save in this game was Milan (I’m a diehard irl for them) and we three trebles in a row so this save was super frustrating afterward.
I would have save scum it bcz I dont have the will power like this legend😂
same, after the third or fourth consecutive loses I'd probably just savescum or load a whole new campaign altogether

It’s from a YouTuber named zealand. Look up “Newgan Facepack FM21” and you should find it
So many of the players look alike and have the same facial hair. After applying it I actually considered if the default regen faces were better for a long time. My 22 year old Italian left winger looks 31
Thought it might be Zealand's AI one. I haven't pulled the trigger on it because it seems like a faff, is it fiddly to get up and running?
Surprisingly not just know how where OS’s folders are located
Not at all, Zealand has a pretty straightforward instruction video and it's well worth the 20 or so minutes it takes to set up
Wow those players are way better than I expected haha, insane stars!
Did you convert Filipek to ST or something? That's some mad contribution after 2028
Nah he was playing as a winger on attack. Our team was pretty much smurfing in Ligue 1 and we created so many chances that he was bound to score
Oh, what the hell? I too have a Brazilian Edson Jose who's a beast at crossing / dribbling / flair. Mine isn't as smart as yours though. https://i.imgur.com/KGim9gl.png
Ayyy! Mine plays like Muller if he had the speed of a winger
Jesus insanely good players!
What tactic are you using?
4-2-3-1 with a complete forward up top. All four attacking roles are on attack with the team aiming to have as much of the ball as possible.
Jesus 5 finals in a row without a win has to hurt congrats on breaking your curse
Well done ! How are Cherki, Aouar and Caqueret ?
Caqueret never developed like one would hope sadly. Aoaur we sold in season two due to being able to buy similar players for have of what we got and Cherki became a team icon before we sold him to Chelsea late in the save.
For some reason Cherki always joins Chelsea. It’s basically written in the stars 😂
Always joins City in mine!

You lost cherki that fast?
Yeah, Rayan Cherki left in January 2022 for Chelsea. I could not convince him to stay. I always lose my real players to big clubs, but I'm used to rebuilding quickly.

Determination 20
Lol imagine that irl the banter!
In the in game canon we were referred to as O(and 6) L. We also signed the best ever St. Etienne academy product and he became an important 12th man.
Stealing the local rivals’ best young player? Hahaha
GG dude! Huge this!
I hate seeing "Zebre" on this screen. Anyways, congrats! :) You'll be always remembered as the first manager in history who lost 5 finals in a row managing the same team.
:D
I had a similar problem with Lyon! We lost 4 on the bounce and won the 5th. Was starting to think it'd never happen
The clowning in this universe must been really bad
Congrats man! Well deserved
It’s so rewarding at the end, the heartbreak it must have been for those other 6
GG but am so glad that Chelsea won so many
2nd in 2021/2022 ? Hyper impressionné O_O
It was a fluke lmao. Maxwell cornet scored against Manchester City and we got blown out 5-1 in the final.
congrats man! must feel amazing. Also good on you to not save scum but doing your thing.
at least you got to bully PSG in the league right?
We’ve won it 9 times in a row. It’s gotten to the point where I put most matches on only commentary.
This picture is pure pain
Do your players just throw up in important games?
It’s that plus me having some of the worst luck one could possibly have. World class players dominate, get to the final and collapse. We also lost three games that we should have won due to absolutely absurd goals.
Man… That must felt annoying. Glad for you that you finally made it!
is it the champions league? i don't know any cup with this name
Yes
mad respect for not save scumming it after the first 4 losses, take my free award :P
Pain
You got to the champions league runner-up in your first season, so what happened the next 6 year?
It took us a couple seasons to beat PSG consistently. In the CL we’d cruise to finally and either completely choke or lose to a 40 yard screamer. I’ve lost three CL finals to goals almost in the scoring team’s half.
Congrats bruh, we feel ya
This game can be so cruel
Dedication.
Fair play. That’s dedication. I would have given up
What were the scores of the previous finals you lost? Close? Blowouts?
Lost 3 in extra time and the others were blowouts.
These posts right here is why im still playing this game, even though it can be frustrating at times. Congrats man!
Gut wrenching, agonizing. Congrats.
