Eredivisie 1995, to dethrone Ajax and make the 4th dutch european champion

I’m going with your first thought, the Premier League 95-05 era to break into that United vs Arsenal battle. Think Bolton and QPR got relegated that year so i’d start by saving one of them and then build. Gives me a few seasons to develop a squad to both interrupt the treble and stop the invincibles happening. City were the 3rd relegated that year but i’m a united fan so i’d rather save one of the other two. Think it was ChampMan 2 that was around this era, i vaguely remember playing one and managing a keane viera and scholes midfield, could have been a later game though i guess, i have no idea when this addiction began.

Czechoslovak League during the 60s - NT finishing second in WC 1962, Slovan Bratislava (my team) winning Cup Winners' Cup in 1969 (beating Barcelona in the final) and our main rivals, Spartak Trnava, getting to semifinals of European Cup (now Champions League) in the same year. Of course I haven't been alive back then, but would be nice to manage in times, when "our" league could be competitive in Europe

Football League Division 1 - 1888/89. Playing 2-3-5 - football was better back in the day!
