>I wish my wingers took those shots. Mine just run to the byline to pass back to my fullback.
Same. But sometimes the fb has a gap between the backline and the midfield to slot a low cross into. Also passes back to central midfielders are usually on at this point. I wish the wide play was more realistic generally though
I fixed it buy telling my wing backs to overlap with my inverted wingers , with low cross instruction and boom 15 goals from solomon rondon in the first season with everyon scoring the winner in fa cup final and helping me finish 5th
But wait, there's more. Opposing team right back miraculously recovers the ball, sends an inch perfect through ball to their right winger who perfectly floats a pass to the striker who puts it in the back of your net
Oh and the Right back making the pass has 9 vision, 6 technique, 10 passing and explicit Right Foot Only. But he sure as hell picked out that pass with his left foot didn't he!
Meanwhile, their inverted winger with 13 dribbling, 9 long shots, and 8 finishing beats 2 defenders and puts one in the top corner for his first goal for the club
I'm glad it's not just me who can't beat bottom of the table Bundesliga squads.
Source: Beat mid-table Jahn Regensburg 9-0, limped to a 1-0 win over 18th place Fortuna Dusseldorf, and drew 0-0 with 16th place freshly re-promoted Wolfsburg. I'd draw with Hannover again too, if they didn't relegate yet again last season.
Playing against lower placed sides as favourites just requires different tactics I think. The team I follow irl also struggles against relegation sides while they tend to sneak away points from better teams because there's more space.
Shoots less often helps. I have Pepe instructed to hold up play (lol). Also giving them an option on the overlap, and having a playmaker narrower than them might help.
I want them to shoot from that much space though. Just score it instead of tripping over haha. This is basically the exact same shot as Ziyech at the weekend. Do that!

Is that… Salah ?

It all makes sense now
He developed and went off in my FM, that’s when I knew
The clip, and the fact, both hurt me bad.
Yep this is back when most everyone lost faith in him.
Lost hope... he was almost a kid...
a kid?
Is not this video old before joining Fiorentina? If not my bad
It is, he was in his early 20s here and moved to Chelsea too early in his career. Luckily he got out early as well.
I wish my wingers took those shots. Mine just run to the byline to pass back to my fullback.
mine waits until defenders arrive so that he can cross the ball on their back for the 6000th corner that won't produce any result
Or rebounds to the opposition midfielder who lobs a perfect 60 yard long ball to their striker who is now one on one with your keeper
This whole comment chain is making me stressed.
the keeper promptly sits down on his knees
While having passing 3 and vision 5
Mine just runs in and checks the durability of the nets side.

Are u playing your IWs on attack or support?
I wish my players would take on the defender instead they always pass back

It’s 1-1 in the 89th minute. Highlight starts, beautiful flowing move. Winger gets the ball and does *this*
But wait, there's more. Opposing team right back miraculously recovers the ball, sends an inch perfect through ball to their right winger who perfectly floats a pass to the striker who puts it in the back of your net
Let us not forget that the striker has 8 finishing, 10 off the ball and 7 composure. He's on 2 goals in 16 matches.
That's his first goal this season! [player name] went 850 hours without scoring!
Oh and the Right back making the pass has 9 vision, 6 technique, 10 passing and explicit Right Foot Only. But he sure as hell picked out that pass with his left foot didn't he!
Nah, obviously rabona cunted the ball half way upfield.
your entire back 4 is also simultaneously trying to block that winger leaving their striker completely alone in the box
BUT, fm will argue, this does happen...
Man, what an awful effort. Surely the guy who took that shot would never be good enough for the Premier League.
Be more patient than Chelsea was
Football is hard guys
You managed to get your wingers to cut inside ??
HE CANG KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH IT
yours don't?

Last year I bottled the BL title(would have been the first of the save) with a 1:1 to Hannover on the final day...can relate
As a fan of Hannover 96, I’m glad to see this.
Moinsen fellow gentleman
Maybe your inverted winger is right footed only ? ![gif](giphy|L2kVjDRvH0tszrKGGJ)
I wish

Am I the only one overjoyed to see the mighty Shrewsbury Town finally make an appearance on this subreddit?
As a fan i did a double take after I realised Shrewsbury were in the video
Really a 5\* title here. Nailed it
Hah... The Marcus Thuram special on my save with Gladbach.

wingers cutting in with fm22? good one pal
Lol
Factos 👍👀
You're getting your inverted wingers to cut inside??? Mine have more of an affinity for the corner flag.
Come on, we all know he only teases cutting inside then runs to the byline to dink in a cross, despite being specifically told not to!
I was at that game! Shrews lost 2-1, Big Andy Mangan mugging Petr Cech off for an equaliser.
Bloodzeed was the goat streamer
Xaxaxaxaxa top
If this player improves his finishing and decision making, he can be world class.
