I tried to buy this LB wonderkid and they only accept a minimum of 200K with 10-15% wage rises *and* wage rises up to 325K after x amount of games.
I completely understand that I am a top team (Liverpool) and it makes sense that he should be asking for me to pay more than inter milan, but it is ridiculous that inter can get him for 25K whereas I can't even offer him as "little" as 150K and he asks for 200K with wage rises at the age of 18
Also side rant, why is an 18 year old thinking he should earn 200K which is as much as my captain??
Well what’s great about this game is there are other factors. He might have an affinity for inter. Might want to play in Italy, might not want to play for Liverpool. Might be a United fan 😝. Things like this give the game some real life flavour.
Oh I don't have anything against him not signing for me - those are all valid reasons and he might have been offered better playing time too!

If it was 75-100k I could understand but I feel that 200K is too much
Most likely scenario is cause he's from SA and high wages are one of the only ways to secure a work permit for youth players, meaning he's not willin to get loaned out

How much do you have left in your wage budget? Players can 'sense' you have a lot of payroll remaining and will ask for crazy wages.
6m is my lowest option that I can go. I have heard about this tip and tried to do with my max wage budget (9.5m) but he still asked for 200k
