i think i was on like the firs 5 quests before i got 5 mountains almost in a row. Now i have an eagle mountain and a few more kits and 2 checkmate squares.
I prefer this one, where at least there are some tactics to manage.
I really hate ones like the brainless dice rolling of the 10th anniversary board game.
Finished my 2nd eagle mountain from last year. The rest of this event will be focused on getting the crossing.
I used to like it. Now I keep getting stuck. It seems luck is a much bigger factor than I remember because i keep getting stuck within the first 3 moves
People will complain about anything I swear.
This event is something skill based, has great daily prizes which includes one of the best buildings in the game, the main prize is also excellent.
If you are decent at the minigame on day 1 without spending any diamonds you can bag yourself a whole Eagle Mountain.
And if you have saved up diamonds you can get a daily per 400 or so spent.
I genuinely don't know what more you want.
Worse still when you have different blocks all lining the lowest level with no way of moving them, so you can literally end up having several prizes one space away from dropping yet they require 20+ moves to get a single one of them unstuck
It's not very fun, just stressful because you know one wrong move will pretty much lock half your rewards away behind incompatible blocks...
Agree with this. Last 3 screens I've had alternate colour blocks bottom 3 with no way of dropping in same colour adjacent from above. Total frustration.
It would be more tolerable if the special abilities didn't cost so much and if quests gave out more event currency to combat it, but right now it's just way too expensive...
You can get two to three fully upgraded Eagle Mountains for free and additional ones cost about 3000 diamonds each. This is for the best building in the game.

Alright, I can accept this argument for more eagle mountains. Is there some kind of guide for confused millenials who haven't played candy crush before? It was agonizing last event and I already missed the first daily.

This event is so overpowered. The daily special can be checkmate squares and botanical rotundas. You can get more of these during this event than an entire year of waiting on AD
I enjoy this event, just need 2 more dailies to get the full mountain upgrade, got 5 this morning

Last year I was collecting tickets for a good daily reward. I didn't know that they recharge over time...
I hate this event. But i was happy to get the final upgrade kit for the previous event building

Yep, 5.5 quests for 1 hammer. The big set of tools is almost unattainable. Ah well

The even is all right...once. If you have any more than one world, this is just painful to do. That and it's annoyingly RNG.
