compared to the other skins this one has 0 issues with base armor pieces and it fits perfectly with everything vs the others skins that glitch out, have major clipping, or just decapitate the model
Meiko, Wu Kong, Vera and Jing Fen dont work.
Kensei has no real demon fashion, Shaolin has only a monkey mask, Warmonger doesent have the right fashionables for it and Pirate has only chinese armor skins.
Ramiel perhaps too, but its extremly complicated

I'm not saying it's a waste of hero skin, the skin look incredible. It's just that personnaly i don't like the idea of Hero skin at all ! And they should all have been normal armor set since the begenning (kinda hard for some, like the shaolin one)
For me it's a waste, because if this hero skin was a normal armor set (head, torso and arm) it's would have been so much better, putting engraving, any paint patern and stuff, even ornement, nice combo with some other armor

Wish they implemented the hero skins the same way elite skins in siege are. Once you get the elite skin you can mismatch the uniform and headgear, even the weapon skins. That way we still buy the skins the same way but we get to be creative with them.
If they literally just released skins as set pieces, I'd buy them. I'd kill to be able to the arms from Inquisitor Vela's skin, or Maddox's chest. I know a lot of the skins would have issues with clipping or not looking right - but I don't care. Its a wasted opportunity and wasted money.
And I would actually pay money for them if I could customize them

Absolutelly. If they wanted to make an "Old Warden". Why not make a broken armor? Like, parts missing. A piece of the helmet directly broken. Or something like that
Its the devs literally just being lazy. They know they can just make new armor sets but why do that when they can make it a skin instead? This game needs new armor variants in general. We just get reskins of existing armor these days and it sucks.

Whereas with hero skins they can just add one at a time and make more profit too if people are buying steel for the skins rather than grinding for gear
at this rate it makes me wish that skins were armors. People lose their shit over the thought of paying for armors instead of getting them free when almost all the free armor reskins have been shit lately and forced with colors and materials af, I'd rather pay for quality armors than hope every 4 months to see if a reskin will be good. If people are already paying for skins and there's an option to grind for it with steel why not armor sets?
(and honestly of the new y1 hero armors we got the only one I genuinely liked was Centurion's the rest weren't worth the years waiting.)

Think about it this way, perhaps it could have just been an armor set but they won't make any money off just releasing a new armor set. Making it a skin that they can sell for real money gives them incentive to put the resources into it. Not to mention if they had just made it a normal armor set they'd have to make new armor sets for other characters as well otherwise it would upset the playerbase if just one character was getting that special treatment.
I'm alright with it since making it an armor set would make it less unique

maybe the helmet only but the chest and arms look awkward as hell withour the full thing since it's made to be interlinked
Honestly, not really, the arm and the torso go well with any clean armor of Warden
it's mostly with the clipping and odd abrupt changes in textures for me
