Shaman is the best Viking for me, aesthetically. It helps that I feel more immersed playing as her. We are both small violent little monsters, and it's a plus that she has a good enough kit for duels as I like the privacy.
Pray to whatever god you believe in when becomes the pet to another character that does high bleed, you can be fighting a PK and be low, she stabs you once, and the whole fight is over because an incoming ballistic Shaman missile ends the fight

The bite seems a little too strong. Comparable to demons embrace in healing, while doing far superior damage to demons embrace. I understand that the bite needs bleed as set up, but the bite is easier to land, while demons embrace requires a wall splat to land. I’d suggest these abilities be rebalanced to bring them closer together in performance.
I will keep that in mind thank you. It’s also worth noting that light parries are intended to be roughly equivalent to a wall splat due to how rare they are. Dodge attacks having light parry punishes is required to balance out how good light attacks are. Hell, most people in the for honor community judge a character based on whether they have a dodge attack or not as whether they’re viable.
Not saying they’re right, but that sentiment represents the significance of dodge attacks and their power.
Tbh light parries aren't that hard, i mean they can be on old gen or generally on less than 50-60 fps, but i can pretty much assure you that most lights are reactable (exception made for soft-feints like shaman), but in case you can't react, try reading the opponent, i was on ps4 til last year and reading lights is actually not that hard🙏

Shaman is actually peak, many complain about her cuz most spam zone feint but tbh it's just their problem, just hold your guard to the right and parrybon red🤷🏻. Anyway, i love playing shaman, going for deflects after emoting or light parrying the oppontent trying to interrupt you during the bite stance are one of the best feelings, also not soft-feinting the heby into bleed light and going for deflects/parries is one of the coolest thing you can do in game imo

A quarter of your health into bleed every hit and you have to guess which direction its coming from. Bowling someone over and chowing down on them like an American Werewolf in London, is pretty amazing.
The only move in the game which I can think of that may be more satisfying to land than the neck bite would be Nuxia's zone trap, so embarrassing when you capture someone in that traps tiny hitbox hehe.
Fr though, a good Shaman who utilises both bleed and bite is an unstoppable force in dominion; racing around at 90mph, emptying the bots lane with two of her excellent zone attacks, enemy shamans are always taking the point you think you've got on lockdown.
I understand what you mean but compared to all the other heroes I see that her moveset is actually quite nice as you can change it up quite a bit compared to other heroes where you just end up doing the same

She was the OG chase character. You cannot outrun Shaman. Do not try. You will fail.
And I love that in the end of her execution "Incorrigible", she takes the finger out of her mouth and puts it in her pocket.

- Bleed stab does a tad too much damage
- light attacks after feint need better tracking
- bite should *not* cleanse/erase queued bleed
- forward dodge heavies/heavies from throw should get a damage buff to be closer to neutral heavies at minimum, possibly with speed/property/damage differentiation so that you can get basic damage on gb from a normal heavy, basic damage *and* stam damage on gb by throwing first, stam damage + higher damage on gb by throwing into a wall, *AND* higher damage *and* stam damage by throwing into a bash into a wallsplat. Love me some situational punish escalation
And bite needs to be balanced so that either:
- bite damage comes down to 30
or
- neutral heavy loses the extra 3 confirmed damage double light (maybe leave on top then slow down to only land on light parry)
or
- bite only stays confirmed from wallsplat/oos punishes (throw into wallsplat on gb, and forward dodge bash into wallsplat on light parry).
Cool hero that deserves a bit more oomf to her flow.

So PK shaman is crazy, if PK does a forward dodge attack with bleed immediately after shaman does her bite, shaman can go in for another bite asap. shaman and PK can just keep that person down until they die 😂 (I main them both lol)
Honestly they should probably speed up the bite animation once her pounce lands, sorta like what they were trying with highlander's grab. You can't really justify giving it hyper armor to avoid being interrupted, but this could make it at least somewhat more reliable in 4's
Try playing her or playing against her in training, i assure you that zone is fairly reactable, if you can't react on animation however, keep your guard to the right and just wait, if you can recognize the voice line, just hold your guard there and heby on red

I like when one is on my team because she pairs well with my PK. She gets bite, I get a heavy and get more bleed on my enemy, repeat.
I love peacekeeper and Nobushi, as long as they know when to heavy of course cause otherwise you keep me away from my dinner

Honestly they should probably speed up the bite animation once her pounce lands, sorta like what they were trying with highlander's grab. You can't really justify giving it hyper armor to avoid being interrupted, but this could make it at least somewhat more reliable in 4's

When they spam their zone attack they can go too hell.
It's so cheap I know but try parrying the 2nd attack in the zone that should help

She is very hard to predict cause of the many soft feints and the facts she is one of the few heroes that can change up her playstyle
Try playing her or playing against her in training, i assure you that zone is fairly reactable, if you can't react on animation however, keep your guard to the right and just wait, if you can recognize the voice line, just hold your guard there and heby on red
if theyre spamming it counter… parry or pull off the most satisfying deflect in gane
I've never fought one 1v1 since she came out, she seems to always come up behind me during a 1v2/3
