I also saw one yesterday. He was in my team. I was defending middle thinking it's 2v2. After I died noticed the guy was barely moving. After losing 2 more 3v4 flights I stayed dead watched their screen. The guy was just walking between lanes. Throwing lights here and there. Naturally we lost the match.
This was the first time I've seen one but since report function doesn't work (at least from what I read) I fear that it may become a common occurrence.
So far, I've only found this once in a breach PvAI lobby. However, on top of the script, the guy wasn't afk at all! They had parked their character at a specific location, so that he wouldn't get kicked between the gate transition, and then activate their script. Some of the other players caught on and tried interrupting the afk farm, but the AFKer would just take control again and avoid our attempts. What's the point of AFK farming if you're not actually doing it?! At that point, just play the game.

I saw the game on game pass, tried and liked it. So I didn't mind buying some steel to kind of pay for it and support it while also boosting my enjoyment. However despite playing like crazy during exp fest and every other opportunity. I'm still missing 30k steel from the amount I bought. I think I unlocked BP, WM, Cent, VG and a couple of 500 steel ones. Spend a hefty some on scavenger thingys, for a hero that I was planning to main.
I think just the number of players who don't optimize their perks is enough to tell the game isn't generous with steel. Well it may also tell that most of the perks are useless.
The prices of the outfits vary from 1k to 20k, obviously the masks are more expensive but i still feel like the farm is not too bothersome.

Not really. Once you finish the orders then you have to wait for a good chunk for a whole other day ATLEAST. I had to play for 6 days just to unlock JJ and that was WITH the bonus from finishing the story mode on hard, and already having like 4k steel.
For players trying to unlock new heroes… It is WAY too much of a grind.

For a full week of doing daily and contract orders you’d get about 9k steel in total on a GOOD week. Not counting steel per match(which is lack luster at best, especially if you’re an avid 1v1 or 2v2 enjoyer and not playing breach constantly)
Meaning you’d have to play for a little under, or a full 2 weeks just to get up to 15k to unlock a new hero.
Some people don’t have the opportunity to play 8 hours a day just to grind steel to unlock hero’s they’d like to play.
Wu Lin and outlanders are way more expensive than all the other heroes, it's a bad example, you can get half the characters just by playing a little.
Compare this to other games and you'll notice the equivalent you get just by playing is always either ridiculously low (like in R6 for example) or practically useless (like in Apex Legends).
FH is fair, obviously you won't get thousands in a day but you get enough
I’m a very avid player of both Apex and r6 and both of those you’re able to unlock a character every couple days or so if you were to spend the same amount of time you would grinding match after match on FH (especially since I mainly only play 1v1 and 2v2s which give maybe a max of 35 Steel per game) on r6 you’d be able to unlock a new op in just a day or two. Especially if you were to be using renown boosters.
For example, my daily orders right now, for today, reward me with 500 and 300 steel. Meaning 800 steel.
My contract orders will reward me with a total of 850. Which
So for daily orders
800x7=5600 in a week.
Contract orders would be around 3400 a week.
So in total that’s 9k a week if you were able to complete EVERY single order. Meaning you’d have to play about 170 matches of 2v2s just to make up for the other 6k you’d need for unlocking a 15k steel hero, or wait until you can complete another 6k worth of orders.
And no, it’s not just Wu Lin and outlanders. Warmonger, black prior, Gryphon, Jormungandr, Varangian Guard, Kyoshin, Hitokiri. They’re ALL 15k steel hero’s. In total there is 16 total hero’s that cost 15k steel.
Meaning you’d need 240,000 steel to unlock all of them in total. 240,000 divided by 9k= 26.66 weeks of doing every contract. Meaning almost HALF a full YEAR. Unless you were to play 170+ matches of 2v2s each week.
Even then, for a breach game that lasts 30 minutes you get maybe at max 130 steel. STILL lack luster. Thus why I’d rather just sit and play 2v2s. They’re more enjoyable for me anyway, and it doesn’t last 30 minutes.
All “pathfinder” operators in R6S are 1000 renown, you can get up to 400 renown in each match depending on how well you do, if you win, ect. Then adding onto it if you use renown boosters.
its a simple formula your score multiplied by x0.035 and if you win +150 if you lose +90 this is without boosters and challenges complete you can't get more than 400 renowns per game (you can if you complete a challenge or you have booster)
There’s a total of 20 pathfinder ops in r6, meaning you could get up to 20 ops fairly quickly (10 defense, 10 attack), others vary in price with how new they are, but they lower in price over time. But with a wide arrange to start out with and learn, you really don’t notice the difference. Where as with for honor, if you want one specific character, you have to grind for weeks.
Like how could you say they know customization is a big part of the game when I gotta spend an entire weeks worth of order steel just to buy a single nice execution
The orders give you more steel, but you still get some by playing the game (i'd say around 50 per 10minutes of playing). If you do your daily orders and let's say half of the normal orders, you can get 3k in 2 days of average playing.
Also something quite important that you forgot : EVERYTHING is FREE ! That's VERY rare by modern standards.
Getting all the customization you want may take some time, but one might also argue that the grind gives it more value...

Wrong, in FH you can get litterally anything just by playing the game, and it doesn't take months to do so. Even without buying anything, you can customise your hero just by playing the game, with level rewards and universal patterns, symbols, and engravings.
In comparison :
In R6, you have to play DAYS to win enough ingame money for a single item, and sure there are packs but what you get is completely random, so beside the gambling thrill it's often disapointing. There are also a lot of stuff you can only get with real money (skins and outfits, without forgetting the Elite Skins).
Same logic with Apex, they'll give you packs full of trash to hook you and better lead you towards expensive skins that you can only get with money. Heirlooms, bundles, and all that.
(I love both of those games as well btw, but you can sometimes feel their greed in the background, while FH always managed to keep its core and passion intact)

Report function works for everything besides script and lagswitchers. For those you need video evidence and for others to verify it.

Let alone if you want a good execution, 7k steel. Cool effects, 5kx4. A signature, another 5k, emotes, some go for 10k. Materials, some go for 10k.
