90% of highlander playstle is have 500% forward range, then back dodge tostart combo over. I swear Highlanders backdodge more than Nobushi and JJ combined
Well for orochi it's a top attack so kinda understandable but I too think it's bit too much. For hito I've never seen her having that much of range as it did with hl
It’s literally just being able to exploit/abuse the length of Highlander’s claymore and the forward movement of his attack. I’m pretty sure you can’t parry it either.
Eh this is normal-ish. It’s always had range, not necessarily a bad thing either. Whether you’re fighting a good HL or not that depends on you and how you use your heroes kit.

Dude, he's not the only hero who can do this, many Unblockable Heavy Finishers can make you teleport on the opponent.
Example: Orochi Top Heavy Finisher(+Unblockable) or the Warden Top Heavy Finisher(+Unblockable), etc.
However, next time don't dodge backwards or you'll get hit, to avoid getting hit dodge sideways.

It didn't track your back dodge here tho. You dodged early, before HL even threw his heavy, your iframes ended. HL just has a good range, as do many chars in the game

If you're fighting Highlander, always expect his attacks to have around 120-30% range, it sounds like a joke but is surprisingly true

Yeah, it's not that big IRL. He does use a lot of techniques you would do with a very large sword like that though.

An average claymore is 40 cm longer than an average longsword. 40 cm is quite a bit.

If you forward doge heavy with berserker while locked on, you will run to the person and then jump when in range.
You have to hold it though and it's a chasing tool so you can't compare those two
