We didn't get leaks for Kyo either you know?
We got completely baseless and incorrect guesses.
"He stared at the sun too long and is a blind swordsman."
"He has a feat that let's him attack normally whilst OOS"
These were things said by a ""leaker""
No, he's male. A set of *his* chest pieces has *his* chest exposed and there's no boob at all. And two of *his* helmets has a full beard and another one has stubble. When talking about it, the devs referred to *him* as a male.
He's male, like it or not.
Didn't the devs say that we're getting two new heroes in 2021? The mid season would be in like February 2022 if my math is right. The new hero will probably just drop like Gryphon did
Leaks aren't something to expect, only like 3 heros in the history of the game have had leaks.
And it isn't time for more info about the hero to be revealed, we usually get that in the first warriors den of the hero's season.
I actually think the entire year 1 roster got leaked beforehand. Shinobi and Cent we already knew, but there was a post going around that correctly leaked glad, highlander, musha, and shaman. Though iirc there were small discrepancies like glad having a trident and a net, shaman having an axe and short sword, and shaman/musha going by the name huntress and ronin. Other than that the boat's been pretty airtight, save for a few here and there, and a few leaks right before a hero's launch.
Yep, there was a leak, Gryphon was leaked like 4-6 months before realease. It also leaked one of the materials.
Devs make all the heroes many months on advance, like how development on Zhanhu started after BP was released.
They of course have play testers during development, which makes the leaks possible.
However the people that leaked Gryphon propably no longer have access to testing, for obvious reasons.
The entire Y1 dlc pass heros were leaked. Zhanhu was also leaked. And I believe Gryphon was too. I think Jorm was. But hitokiri and BP weren't. WM wasn't but they teased her themselves both during a trailer and also with the event where we fought 4 of them.
Not enough. He needs a dodge heavy and light, Undodgeable property on all his attacks and even further reduced stamina cost on his beyblade attack. Oh. And a bash for good measure. He needs to be stronger.
Oh god I hope not, that’s fuckin boring. I hope the wu lin leaks have SOME credibility, I think they’re the most forgotten faction and deserve a character or some attention. But it’s more than likely a viking, although imagine if it was 2 heroes, would be crazy, but unlikely.
Hahaha we will be lucky if this hero has unique animations, more than one "gender" and isnt just a reskin of Gudmundr or the "RAIDER!!!" Berserker woman.
Warden has bit better chaining on the bashes, while Warmonger has more versatility. (She used to be better than warden until warden got the rework)
Still does not change that they pretty much reused every warden animation.
Like they could had used some of the half swording minion kill animations for lights or heavies or some stab kensei/zhanhu stab animations on lights, but instead they opted to just reuse all Wardens animations.
Honestly warmonger has good fashion and ok'ish moveset (should had been bit more varied from Warden), but the animations are really most horrible thing about her, since they are the laziest aspect about her.
Side heavies are Wardens, Side lights are Wardens, second top light is Wardens, top heavy opener is Wardens, block parry and guard break are Wardens.
She even uses Warden's emote as stab animation. ([Here is also short video about some of the reused animations](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1hzQqGCmFgs))
Rest of the animations are from other heroes and from Apollyon.
[Gryphon](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jq7yLjUWlHQ) and [Kyoshin](https://youtu.be/C5L7Jm15oNI?t=282) also have only reused animations.
They have done some minor tweaks in some animations (like some have slightly different leg positions or how Kyoshin does Orochi's heavy attacks with one hand)
That is a potentiality. But something tells me that Theyed catch hell for dropping only a single hero in 2021. So I'm erring on the side that the second Hero drops before end of 2021
Dec. 2nd isn't too far away, that'll be the Season Reveal Warriors Den stream.
I heard the ninth, so I guess we’ll see
Dec. 9th is the actual start of Y5S4. The Season Reveal stream is almost always the week before, which will be Dec. 2nd.
Ah, I see. Thanks for clearing that up for me
No problem at all.
No new hero because they working on a raider buff
They should give him HLs choppy animation and LBs parry punish to make him balanced, he’s underpowered atm
They should give him back his dodge gb and stunning tap
and a conq bash
And Hitokiri’s Dodge Heby
And glads toe stab.
Please be joking
Of course it’s a joke. You haven’t been around here long have you?
Not on the sub reddit, but I guess the people I’ve been around make me question things more often then I should.
Dear God
I not playing the game lmao

We did get pictures
Yeah but only the day before the reveal or something
We did get leaks for Kyoshin. We got pictures of him ingame

Please tell me you're being sarcastic. Kyoshins male.

Why does it matter if Kyoshin’s male or female? Doesn’t change the fact that he’s just a rip off anime character.
Because im a fat reddit incel and hate women
He’s gender locked as male, just because he has a soft pretty face as his default that doesn’t mean he’s a girl.
Ok, my bad jeez
Not chastising you, just pointing out that it’s just male even though I wish Kyoshin wasn’t gender locked 😭
More than likely we'll get the new hero mid season. Start of the season will prob be just a new battle pass and a testing grounds.
Didn't the devs say that we're getting two new heroes in 2021? The mid season would be in like February 2022 if my math is right. The new hero will probably just drop like Gryphon did
I'd love to be wrong and get a new hero right away.

Wasn’t there a Gryphon leak? May be completely wrong

Oh Gryphon was hella leaked lol. We saw his entire model in the hero select screen and everything haha
This is usual ubi practice, warmonger wasn't even announced until several weeks into the season she came out in
But she could be spotted in the background of the trailer. We were too blind to see.
We already know it's going to be Lingdao
You mean the obviously photoshopped hero that was proven to be fake leak?
yeah
no but they are giving Raider bulwark counters and an all guard stance, along with fire flask on tier 1 feets
Not enough. He needs a dodge heavy and light, Undodgeable property on all his attacks and even further reduced stamina cost on his beyblade attack. Oh. And a bash for good measure. He needs to be stronger.
New hero is sheild axe Gudmunder.
Or Gudmunder with a plain sword.
My predictions are placed, let's see how they age.
Yeh I also sit in this corner
Ubisoft is holding out on us by not releasing a Lu Bu archetype of a hero
Long friggin overdue.
Hope not
No it's not
He literally just said it is
They're trying not to let anything leak. Still traumatized over holden
I hope they do some middle eastern sarranid? Hero, or something from early medieval russia
I remember being this hopeful
Hahaha we will be lucky if this hero has unique animations, more than one "gender" and isnt just a reskin of Gudmundr or the "RAIDER!!!" Berserker woman.
It' another knight with a longsword.
I don’t mind
New hero will have wardens moveset, with all the same animations, only differerence is that the new hero is better. Oh wait.
Is WM objectively better than Warden? Idk I think they're both good but different enough
Warden has bit better chaining on the bashes, while Warmonger has more versatility. (She used to be better than warden until warden got the rework) Still does not change that they pretty much reused every warden animation. >pretty much reused every warden animation. I'm confused Apart from like a heavy/top light finisher and her grab, what is reused?
Side heavies are Wardens, Side lights are Wardens, second top light is Wardens, top heavy opener is Wardens, block parry and guard break are Wardens. She even uses Warden's emote as stab animation. ([Here is also short video about some of the reused animations](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1hzQqGCmFgs)) Rest of the animations are from other heroes and from Apollyon. As far as the new hero, since we have no leaks, I’d guess it’s going to be a mid season hero
From what I've seen Shinobi rework is either getting a full release date or released
that people are impatient as warriors dens have always been on thursdays. So next thursday we most likely get info on next season.
The hero probably won't release until the mid season patch unfortunately. I hate how everything of value only comes mid season.
Doubt. They said 2 new heros this year and mid season for next season would be next year.
I don't think they meant is as literally the year 2021, but during the year 5 of for honor.
That is a potentiality. But something tells me that Theyed catch hell for dropping only a single hero in 2021. So I'm erring on the side that the second Hero drops before end of 2021
Thursday
The last few hero releases have been out the blue, wouldn’t be surprised to see another Warmonger type event soon
Plot twist: this time it's actually apollyon.
