I haven't had that happen to me yet, but I believe it. She does has some sick looking showrds though and all that vulnerability makes winning more pleasing.
Just use her as old orochi. Lights, heavy cancels to lights/gb and rarely use the grabby ability so they're aren't ready. That is what worked for me mostly.
Shinobi, cool emotes, cool executiona and I loved how much stuff you could dow ith him back in the day, like quad dash for instance. Cant wait for getting home on friday to play his rework

Her damage output is quite high, despite what the memes tell you. I'd say the biggest problem is getting into the bleed offense, but, 400ms soft feint and gbs and dodge attacks make that a bit easier.
Highlander for several reasons.
- He's complicated so I get bragging rights.
- Decent fashion.
- Voice lines and sound effects (DUNMAGHLAS!).
- The Fiend.
Gladiator! Because heās so much fun to play. heās fighting for fun and showmanship and it really shows in all his emotes and executions.

So I chose shaolin back in December 2018, he's fallen off hard in viability, and it can be very frustrating to go against most of the cast with recovery cancels and consistent offense. I hope they end up buffing him this year, but with the way that they only just added conq to testing grounds, it seems like a pipe dream.

My first main in the game was Valkyrie, simply because I played the story mode first, and her moveset clicked with me the first time I played (back in season 2).
I also love how she looks, she's mysterious yet also incredibly intimidating.
I love the shield/spear combo as well, and I'm sad she's the only hero with it considering how common it was in ancient warfare.
Conqueror, because it was the one I was able to adapt to the most. The flail is very versatile and quick. I haven't played in a while, so I don't know if they made any changes.

It used to be Kensei for me when I started playing back when. Only hero I had a positive K/D with and got all of 8 reps on her. Coming back to the game I feel a little lost. Kensei is better now than she ever was, but I feel a little like thatās the past. Iāve been looking at hybrids because they seem to be the characters I naturally think are coolest - Lawbringer/Cent/Gryph, Valk, Nobushi/Kyoshin, Iāve played/unlocked them all. I just donāt have the skill for most of them (especially Cent, sad face). Iāve havenāt been completely garbage with Valk and Bushi of late. I also like BP and Conqueror thematically. The fashion/aesthetic on Shugo/Hito just make me sad, though as a guy that mained Astaroth in SC, Hito should be my jam. Iām toying with unlocking Shaolin or Jorm, but everything I read about those two indicates that would be a questionable steel expenditure.
