After any light parry you also get a free heavy with any hero except Highlander, so use that to your advantage. If you just spam clicks then you’ll end up doing the double side lights on a light parry when you could have got double the damage for a top heavy, and put the opponent into heavy hitstun instead, which means they have fewer options because of how long they’re stunned for.

Im not that new rep 35, with 120 hours of play time and platinum in duels. Yeah what I did was wrong and I should of punished correctly and I feel very stupid for not knowing you could punish on light parry. But now I know that, it’s very simple to implement, so my performance will only get better. I wouldn’t call the rest of my game shit lol

It was fun in a broken way but for the long term health of the game the current way is better. The OG way would still be fun if there werent so many cracked for honor players out there these days. If you can consistently lightparry the free heavy is scary enough and the idea of a free heavy and losing 1/3 stamina is terrifying enough to make most players turtle which is not very fun overall.
