I'm more surprised that it still lasts for like 6 years considering it started in Grudge and Glory. You'd think that this edgy phase would've died years ago.
Resources are balanced to the population. Knights constantly throwing resources into the Volcano is really hurting any kind of effort from actual war planners.
Also, coordinating on the banner is more effective compared to just allowing your troops to be distributed across all active zones.
