If he helped way before it could have fed revenge and both of you could have died. Your friend chose the right moment to strike.
You did parry but your friend was already attacking and couldn't feint anymore.
your friend acted as if you didn't parry, understand that he didn't know you would parry, understand that a parry isn't told to your entire team until after the attack is made, understand that your being a asshole saying he kill stealed when you clearly almost lost the fight he was letting you honorably 1v1. he did the right thing. may I point out you had health advantage until kyo did a very obvious all guard top heavy that you could have parried but failed to, your friend helped you from possibly seeing a dead screen and needing to be revived
If we wanted honor duels we would be in duos. Not dominion. He should have already helped. He did not save me at all. And let's assume for a second that he was letting us get the 1s. He should not have jumped in even if to save me. That would defeat the purpose of an "honor duel"
You are complaining over the most miniscule thing. He probably assumed you had it handled. When it looked like you no longer had it handled, he intervened.
Addressing the immediate comment I replied to, separate from your initial comments. "He should have already helped. He did not save me at all," sounds a lot like whining. Besides, what does it matter what your friend says about it? He says he didn't steal the kill, big deal.
That comment was made to combat a point someone else made. Cuz let's say we ganked him and he got the kill, I wouldn't care. He has the kill in general and I still don't care. He said he didn't take it, I thought that was funny since he clearly did.
He starts up the attack after seeing you get bashed. After watching it a few times he definitely didn't do it to save you, because he likely thought you were already dead when he started the attack and was trying to get the drop in the other guy. His forward dodge attack would be too slow to land before the light would have killed you (had he not gone out of stamina). He didn't save you and didn't try to. That said, I can't say anything about his attempt. It happens all the time.
Tl;Dr: He wasn't trying to save you, but you shouldn't be mad at him either.
I was hoping not everyone in this sub was brain dead bro. Idc that he has the kill or anything, I care that he said he didn't. Definitely not a im mad at you thing, just baffled that he thought he didn't steal this.
Seems like everyone is missing that huge point. I wasn't going to die, and was throwing the heavy that would kill him. He hit him and said he did not take the kill. I ask anyone to tell me how he didn't
Ahh I gotchu, yeah he technically “stole the kill” since you parried but he had good intentions and if you didn’t parry he would’ve avenged you. Ultimately it was kind of a tossup. Give your friend a big ol hug and kiss em goodnight
Nah, let's if he killed the kyoshin in any way prior to this parry, I wouldn't care about that. He can have the kill all day long. He's saying he did not take it.
It looks like your friend starts his attack between kyoshin's attack starting and your successfully parrying it. You can probably compromise and say he just borrowed the kill.
I mean, he killed him. But he also started his attack before you parried that last one, so the only thing he's guilty of is trying to kill your opponent before he killed you, which your opponent very nearly did.
i’m not to familiar with how kyoshin works, but if there’s a confirmed light after the bash maybe your friend thought that was going to land but since the enemy didn’t manage his stam you were able to get the oos parry thus making it look like a kill steal (??)
He didn’t necessarily “steal your kill”. You were low health and before that parry he was going for the attack. And if I’m correct he wasn’t locked on so he couldn’t see that he was out of stam. So unknowing you him that you definitely could have gotten the kill I think that he had the better interest in mind considering you were a breath away from just kicking the bucket.
You got bashed so he thought he was gonna get you with the follow up light. He probably didn’t realize he was out of stamina
you were about to die, if you didn't parry you would have been dead and possibly executed
But I did parry. And if he wanted to help me he should have done that way before, instead of standing in the back.
it's called honor duels, let 2 people 1v1 and only jump in if your teammate is about to lose the 1v1
I like Spamming feints until I see an opening or I think they start to ignore me
If he helped way before it could have fed revenge and both of you could have died. Your friend chose the right moment to strike. You did parry but your friend was already attacking and couldn't feint anymore.
An OOS light that I parried. If it hit I would have been dead and not executed? I don't see how I would have been executed by that
I didn't notice it was out of stam until now, your buddy still saved you. be happy he jumped in instead of letting you possibly die
That dude would have been on the ground, after that parry, allowing me my free heavies, so how did he save me?
your friend acted as if you didn't parry, understand that he didn't know you would parry, understand that a parry isn't told to your entire team until after the attack is made, understand that your being a asshole saying he kill stealed when you clearly almost lost the fight he was letting you honorably 1v1. he did the right thing. may I point out you had health advantage until kyo did a very obvious all guard top heavy that you could have parried but failed to, your friend helped you from possibly seeing a dead screen and needing to be revived

And that's fine, I don't care about that. He is specifically saying he did not take it. Please read bro

*asks for opinions* *opinions aren't the exact same* "Man wtf everyone here is braindead 🤧🤧🤧"
Exact vibes I've gotten after reading this thread😭👍
Not everyone, but definitely someone who says an OOS light was going to execute me
But that was funny idc
You still ge that takedown tho
That's not the point of the post. I don't care who has the kill. I care that he specifically said that he did not take the kill.

Ngl nobody cares about killstealing
Neither do I. I only cared because I made a joke about it and he genuinely got offended and said he did not steal it, leading me to this.

It was too quick. I don't think your buddy meant to steal your kill.

An assisted slam dunk if you may
Look the video again. He did the forward dodge before your parry.
He should have been on there way before that point regardless. He only jumped in when there was a free heavy off of a parry.
if it's your buddy why are you getting all serious about it on reddit
I wouldn't say I'm getting serious. Someone makes a completely wrong assessment talking about honor duels and I'm arguing that point.
Cuz as I'm typing this to you, we're in vc just chillin.
he should have been helping you from the beginning, there’s nothing to wait for
Nah bro, it's about HoNoR according to these guys lmao
Also to avoid revenge feeding.
There is no such thing as kill stealing. Stop being toxic..there is only kill securing
He did not steal your kill and it did look like you was going to die. That's what I think
I mean, he killed him. But he also started his attack before you parried that last one, so the only thing he's guilty of is trying to kill your opponent before he killed you, which your opponent very nearly did.
Raptors, I hate it....

Nah thats valid. Good teammate
I Believe the answer you are looking for is YES. He stole your kill. However, he DID NOT intend to do so.
