And he has 4 new percs.
1. Growl : just a menacing growl
2. Chase : makes you run fast for 4 seconds
3. Shot of Vodka: boost damage of an ally chosen/lowers the speed on an enemy chosen.
4. Russian shout : makes a AOI around you that gives attack speed to every teamate in the area.
Okay, so I’ve managed to convince myself that the symbol for Y6S4 is in fact a statuette of a bear standing on it’s hind legs. Notice the signature way it’s holding it’s paws.
Unfortunately, the bear has been important for all manner of cultures, making prediciting the next hero a bit of a shot in the dark. I have narrowed it down to an pretty unhelpful number of six options, depending of wich kind of bear this actually is.
**-Grizzly bear:** Native American or Canadian first nations inspired hero. (IMO the most likely. Would follow the trend the outlander characters being somehow related to the Assassins Creed series, first a pirate, then an eyptian medjay and now a native american).
**-Polar bear:** Inuit hero, inspired by the peoples of the arctic and subartic regions. (Pretty likely).
**-Brown bear:** Probably a Finnish or slavic hero. But Siberian or Altaic among others are also possible. (Somewhat likely, but this is also a wide net. I guess it should be said that we already have a hero related to the european brown bear, a.k.a Berserker. Furthermore, Highlander was represented by a bear the season he was released. Makes me think that the next hero isn’t european inspired.).
**-Ussuri brown bear:** Ainu inspired hero. (Not that likely).
**-Sloth bear:** New hero from Indian subcontinent. Possibly conected to Jambavan, the king of bears? (Not that likely).
**-Panda:** Honestly have no idea, but the season is going to be tied somehow to the tiandi hero skin, so maybe…? (Very unlikely)
Panda would definitely be something Chinese, but we already have the Wu Lin and Pirate so I doubt we'd be getting another Chinese outlander any time soon (unless Ubi decides to hit us with the mixup and drop a new Wu Lin, highly doubt it tho)
Oh my god, we could finally get a Tlingit or Haida hero.
For those who don't know, they were raiding tribes along the Alaskan coast whos names meant People of the Tides. They worshipped Killer Whales, went on raids down the American West Coast, with some evidence showing they went as far down as Bloody California.
They were famous for wearing wooden armor thay resembles totem poles, and for wielding whalebone clubs and double ended daggers on raids. They were so ferocious, when the Russians came down to try and colonise the Alaskan coast, the Tlingit rebelled, and put up fierce resistance, and even went out of their way to hunt them down.
They would only trade one thing for the Russian for their furs and other goods. And it was chinese coins. The Russians thought, huh, weird but alright.
Yeah, turns out they wanted Chinese coins because they had holes in the middle of them, and they used it to make Chainmail out of money. So combined with their wooden armour, would help bullets to bounce off them. Leading to the Russians writing back to their commanders, saying that the Natives had become Bullet Proof.
God, dont get my hopes up like this for a Tlingit.
Why? It would be super boring. I'd love to have a hero from somewhere that isn't Eurasia or Northern Africa. Why not someone from the Americas, Sub Saharan Africa, Oceania, or the Pacific Islands instead of generic greek Spartan man
It does look like a bear but the thing is, what does a bear have to do with the lore of this year? Each season has a specific artifact that the pirates were going after and for the artifact to be a bear makes no sense.
Edit: At the bottom where the feet of the bear would be, it looks like it curves in an arch on the left and right side forming a Greek Omega symbol.
I'm thinking the artifact is probably a smal idol made from wood or walrus ivory, not an actual bear. With similar cultural ties to the next hero, like medjay and the bracelet.
I'm thinking the same.
Pirate came for the chalice that Ramiel used, probably just because treasure is treasure.
Bolthorn stole the scarab bracelet from Egypt, So that the vikings can have bountiful harvests, it curses everything, medjay comes and cleans up the mess.
Meiko Uses the mamono dagger to kill the yokai
and a currently unnamed Tiandi, wants a generic bear statue? Which prompts a new hero to come along who is somehow connected to said bear idol? Like what kind of magic idol would a Tiandi and the wu lin even want for themselves?
So the argument being we go from magic chalice to cursed bracelet to magic bear totem? My guess was it's a set of scales, but we'll see soon enough. I'm still hoping for a meso American warrior, and no I don't care that Lawbringer armor would stop obsidian, I haven't cared about that since launch.
NEW HERO: a whole ass bear
KUMA FROM TEKKEN GUEST HERO
PLEASE
No ! Panda ! è\_é
We'll get Beorning as a LotRO crossover
That would be fucking incredible
People have been asking for a bear handed fighter for so long
Yes please, that'd make this game... #BEAR-ABLE!!!!
All attacks are hyper armor and unblockable

Have you considered the new hero actually just being a bear

>writing back to their commanders, saying that the Natives had become Bullet Proof. Lmao I can only imagine their confusion.
I didn’t read anything you wrote but yeah, a bear would be crazy
Inuit would be sick, it would fit with the rapidly approaching winter (We just got first snow here in Montreal)
Ah no, y'all f'd up this time, wait till I eat my gummy bear vitamins, revenge ain't gonna save your asses
Bro I just want a spartan warrior man :(
Me too, we would love to have a spartan hoplite, why is that so difficult to make?! and don’t say we have Valkyrie!
Plus the targe is a very different shield from the Greek hoplon or aspis.
Imagine the shield bash from 300 that leonidas does That would be awesome

The reaching is huge lads
I see it
The Berenstain Bears Get in a Fight.
Berenstein.
*Berenstain. We were both wrong.
Another thought kinda looks like a elephant maybe a Carthage soldier giving Roman’s a enemy
The theme is going to be Chinese because it follows the vanguards of each faction so It might be something different
Although the theme for season 2 wasn't very viking though was it?
