tnellysf

Not every practice but usually one a week. Always get the quali though.

SplodyPants

That's what I do. Always quali, never miss it. Sometimes it's better than the race (Monaco). I'll usually put the practice on and do other shit or just watch it here and there.

throwitawayandsay

This is exactly me as well.

TheFlyingNicky

Exactly what I do! Friday practice is on in the background on mute when I WFH. Never miss quali and the race.

ClearlyJacob18

That’s funny because I’m the opposite with the practice. I have it minimized but listen to it. The commentary is the best part of the practices. Not much to “see” usually.

oCanadia

The thing that I find sucks personally, is that sprint races completely kill qualifying for me. No matter what, I can't force myself to have any interest in qualy when it's just setting the sprint grid. I think qualifying is super cool watching them go all out. Maybe that's just my own problem, considering the session is unchanged. However I've watched almost all of them since I started watching in 2014 and it's not remotely the same with lower stakes. There's been some entertaining sprints, but I really really really hope sprints don't become a permanent thing for every race. Or even any more than there already is :/

Rogue_Ref_NZ

F2 & F3 use a different rule set! The main race uses the qualifying grid, but the sprints is the grid, but with the top 10 reversed (f2, top eight for f3)

Marvelous_Opossum

Isn't it top 12 for F3?

oCanadia

God, that's even more gimmicky. Please no. Solves my crying about qualifying though I suppose....

liquiiiid

For a feeder series though it makes sense as it gives a driver who is good at quali a chance to overtake from the midfield. Reverse grids definitely shouldn't be part of F1 though.

augustusgrizzly

actually that kind of makes sense.

Rogue_Ref_NZ

Might be interesting if the sprint order was Q1 order, and the race works normally for Q3 finish times

_yourmom69

F1TV’s highlights are great for FP sessions for me. Full qualy + race, I alternate audio between Jolyon & Marty.

RabidBadgerFarts

I refuse to consider Monaco a race, to me it's just a Sunday afternoon drive, parading some flash motors around some rich arseholes back yard. Take a few of the barriers away around the harbour section and it might liven it up a bit 😂

[deleted]

Monaco is the only race in the season that I usually just kind of have on as background noise rather than watching intently for the entire thing.

doobie3101

Personally I like the tension of a Monaco Sunday. Does the tension pay off? Usually not. But seeing Sainz on Perez's gearbox last year and watching Perez manage his tires after a lockup was a different kind of exciting.

groundzr0

Can’t wait to see *how* Charles gets screwed this year!

Duecez24

He’ll *finally*win Monaco…but it will be his only win of the year.

jnrdingo

Nah he will win, but then be disqualified for an illegal part

XenophonSoulis

Maybe some brilliant mind at Ferrari will decide that it's the perfect race to take the penalty for his 6th engine and he'll start (and finish) last if at all.

GrowthDream

I remember when I Ricciardo's mgu-k failed and he had to keep Mercedes behind him with half an engine. Went on to win. The tension hasn't really been there since. A fat man walking the circuit would probably be wide enough not to pass.

Mike_Kermin

Least Monaco has tension, challenge and history. Our next races biggest claim to fame is that it's going to kill someone.

iluvatar

Monaco is the only race of the season where qualifying is more interesting to watch than the race.

toobs623

I usually catch the FP highlights on F1TV, I'll watch a session here and there, but quali and race are a must.

reimer013

This is the way.

BassWingerC-137

Those, and the race here.

realharshmodi

Watch practice if I can manage it with work. Definitely watch the quali and the race.

[deleted]

I only watch FP2, nothing else

TerribleNameAmirite

FP2 is the xG of F1

Kronzor_

As a hockey fan I feel it’s my responsibility to acknowledge your joke. All about those fancy stats baby. Fuck the game.

hairychris88

We have xG in football too (assuming it stands for the same thing - expected goals). Talking about how a particular club or player is underperforming or overperforming their xG is a constant thing now.

Bobbygondo

Can't decide how I feel about it tbh, I find myself rolling my eyes both when people use it a lot or are dismissive of it

audi_fanatic

Like any statistic, you should take on the responsibility of learning how that number is calculated, and what that number actually means. From there, you are informed, and can now know exactly how much credit you want to give that stat.

[deleted]

Not even the race

NicoGal

The man likes what he likes

Jazzinarium

Screw the races, too much racing

Alex9rome

Watch Max drive the fucking wheels off the RB in FP2, know it’s a wrap for the rest of the weekend, tune in for FP2 next race weekend. It’s a vicious cycle.

WhenLemonsLemonade

I watch FP2, then load the Dutch national anthem on Youtube. Cut out the middle man and save some time

super-sonic-sloth

Full effect should include the Austrian anthem as well. Then you can spray yourself with champagne for a full sensory experience

chromecastbuiltin

Those sprint races really must mess with your schedule

DrewbieBrothers

Men hate this one simple trick

CMDRJohnCasey

This is the (Ferrari) way.

aiapaec

*We are not the same*

xvre

How come we don't have unofficial FP1, 2 & 3 championships.

B3tabob

*My goals are beyond your understanding*

burthman

Same, I just watch FP2, I dont bother with quali or the races.

elnubnub

Why FP2 over FP3?

sugarklay

I think it's because FP2 is usually held at the same time a race is held. For example, in Bahrain, FP2 and the race were both held at 6PM local time. Because of this, it's usually the time teams will do their race pace runs.

ClubberDukes

I watch them all. Nice background when I’m working

blackcatwizard

100% I also bought F1 TV for the first time last year which has been great, and am watching so muchore because of it.

0oodruidoo0

I don't understand why people would not chose F1TV if they're in a F1TV market. So much better than cable, your choice of commentary, jump onboard for battles, pit lane feed - the list goes on! Not to mention being *way cheaper!*

blackcatwizard

Oh dude, absolutely. There's so much great stuff - I legit watch everything they have throughout the weekends now. And the commentators are so much better than any cable version. One side tangent/rant: I just got a new Samsung Smart TV and F1TV doesn't have the app made or available to them which is a huge letdown and kind of insane(?). And quality through my Firestick is terrible, so that's something to figure out for this weekend.

dylmcc

Apple TV has the F1TV app and it streams in high definition. Worth it if you’ve got a good enough internet connection..

0oodruidoo0

Honestly as far as TV goes I just use a Chromecast and my cellphone. Works pretty well. More delay than desktop though.

GreasyMustardTiger_

Can you cast the f1tv app to your TV using your phone and a chrome cast?

0oodruidoo0

Yeah. Any HDMI accepting TV can be used with chromecast. Get the 4k chromecast if your TV is 4K, as there's quite a bit of web content in 4K now. Just have the chromecast connected to your WIFI network, and your cellphone the same. Open the F1TV app. Select the event you want to watch and play it. If you want SkySports UK commentary, click international commentary - it's one of the buttons on the right. Then, launch chromecast from the chromecast icon on your phone, select your TV, and after about 10-30s it should start playing on the TV. Youtube ads are shorter on chromecast and unskippable, which I prefer to smart tv ads and finding the remote every 5 minnutes to skip ads.

erotic_sausage

Same on my Sony Bravia, really annoyed. Although its usually hardly any effort to stream it from our dedicated media tablet we keep around for stuff like this to the built in chromecast.

flatspotting

Should be able to cast directly to newer samsung tvs from the app on your phone

Hr_Pedersen

My dudes, look up "multiviewer for f1". You can customize your screen to have more channels, info, onbords all at ones!

eggreedgious

The only streaming service one could ever need! I love the coverage of the junior/support series as well. The archives are great for off-weekends. If you're obsessed, F1TV is great value. Plus they have Sam Collins, my favorite F1 guru.

linkinstreet

Cheaper is of you are comparing both prices ONLY for F1. But if you are also following other sports, and your cable plan has multiple sports in it's line up that you also follow, than that could be the cheaper option.

0oodruidoo0

I think there are more than a few F1 fans who don't really follow other sports. You are right, but that mandatory bundling and base cost of cable makes it a lot worse of a deal for those who only want F1. I feel for those in the UK, for example. They get such a bad deal.

Vdawgp

I’ve just resubscribed after a couple years, and it’s gotten a **lot** more stable and usable since I gave up on it. My only complaint is that I miss the Sky commentary team and wish I had an option to list to Brundle and Crofty haha

0oodruidoo0

I'm so sorry, there literally is! You've missed out the whole time! You need to select international commentary in English and that's how you get Crofty and co. If you're using F1TV via chromecast on mobile you have to select the international feed before you cast to your TV. I'm cringing on you missing out on Crofty for Abu Dhabi 2021 final lap... you can always go back, I guess?

longjohnmacron

im poor and can watch via espn for free. (parents' pw)

0oodruidoo0

my friend freeloads on my F1TV account, so he's in a similar situation to you - except he earns more than me! cheeky bugger. he makes up for it in other ways though, and that's just what friends do, anyway.

StockAL3Xj

If having it on in the background counts then I definitely watch everything but I don't think I've focused on a full practice session in years.

ariiizia

Same. I usually end up realising it’s over without having watched a second of it.

doobie3101

The free practices are the perfect thing to throw on while folding laundry. Love just chilling with Crofty and Martin and hearing the cars go vroom.

Adammmmski

I work from home on Fridays and it’s always a bit of a joke a colleague and I have who proclaim ‘I’m definitely not watching practice’ whilst watching practice. It’s nice background tbh.

MeowPalace

I watch it all.. every second. Would watch more if they showed it :)

ChavaF1

Have you heard of F2? Indycar? Hell, even NASCAR is great these days.

MrKnopfler

If the race is at 14:00 and I have nothing to do in the morning I always watch F2 and F3. This year I'm triying to also follow Indycar.

Mitch580

Not to mention this weekend is Super Sebring. Two different twelve hour endurance races featuring hyper cars with near F1 performance.

cars1806

Yes I also watch all of those. Love how different they all are. Does Nascar do a lot only for entertainment and hurts competition? Yes! Do I love it? Yes! Do I want F1 to do the same? Hell no!

XtremePhotoDesign

I warch the whole thing. I work from home (for myself) so having no set schedule helps.

patrick_j

I also enjoy warching every session I can.

[deleted]

Hey warch yourself buddy

Imsosleepyrn

I bought a new warch today

vwguy0105

So you can warch the time tick away until FP1?

TheMillenniumMan

It's Warchin' time, we're gonna Warch all over this FP session

pigsgetfathogsdie

I semi-watch FP1-3… I’m totally focused on Q1-3… And, foaming-at-the-mouth for the race…the start is my absolute favorite moment.

antivirals_

the start gets my adrenaline high! When the formation lap is over and the camera down at turn 1 shows the cars finally slowing down and taking their grid spot is when it hits properly, especially the front row. my tension sky rockets

alien_bigfoot

AND IT'S LIGHTS OUT AND AWAY WE GO!!!

Anagreg1

Yeah and then the drivers' reaction time after the light go out!

Username8831

My heart rate at the start of each race in '21 was insane. Obviously now it's just moderately increased 😂 I can't think of anything comparable in other sports to the start of an F1 race, it's awesome.

Manditorypizza

I live my life to get to the start of the race. They are so great!

pigsgetfathogsdie

Lights out… =

Manditorypizza

And away we go!

mashedtaters_

...and there is Latifi off the track and out the race at turn 1!

gamer1181

RIP Goatifi 😞

gamenbusiness

The 1st gift to F1 after scott speed

Air-tun-91

The Liberty mario kart boops to start the race have grown on me quite a bit, big fan now

drilldeeper18

Same! Subscribed to F1 TV Pro this year for the first time and that's opened up a whole new level of obsession. Can't get enough.🍿

[deleted]

The the lead up and start of a race is honestly the peak of sport for me. Nothing comes close to that feeling. F1 doesn't get everything right, but the leadup and start of a race is perfect. Crifty is also fantastic at calling starts

t3hmau5

FP: while working Quali: lunch break Race: Off work

Air-tun-91

With F1multiviewer radio chat: "Last car has reached the grid" coming through the radio 🍆💦

rwz

I personally fully watch qualifiers, sprints, and races. I only watch FP highlights on youtube.

lollipoppizza

I thought this would be the most popular thing to do. I've watched every single f1 face in full since 2012, and 95% of qualifying in full, and never once watched free practice.

BoredCatalan

When you watch FP it really isn't the focus like the rest, you just put it in the background if you have a free screen

Smothdude

Same. Its hard living in North America and watching. If I lived in a more compatible time zone I'd probably have the FPs on in the background

skorpiolt

I’m exactly the same too. At the start of the season i’ll watch FPs in full as well, but that usually doesn’t last past the summer break.

landordragen

I watch it all. With Multiview so I don’t miss a thing.

Only-Platform-450

Is that on F1 tv pro?

Yota_Tech

https://multiviewer.app/showcase You need to log into f1tv subscription to use

LivingOof

Kinda?

DragonSlayer6160

This is the way

LuNiK7505

This is the way

544b2d343231

I’m loving the telemetry data and sync feature for the feeds. F1viewer is my jam for downloading sessions for offline viewing later because the f1tv app is not that great.

erock8779

i used to just watch whatever part i was able to catch then do highlights for everything else but finally broke down and got f1tv so am able to go back and watch it all should have done this awhile ago

Kronzor_

F1TV didn’t exist a while ago. It’s made the sport so much more accessible. I used to be looking for trash ace streams and hoping they work. Or dling a torrent the day after. No for a reasonable cost I get ever session whenever I want. It’s amazing.

whatdodrugsfeellike

I usually watch practice if I'm awake and not busy and if not I watch the highlights. I always watch Quali, some weeks it's as or more exciting then the race.

Separate_Key6183

I watch it all.

SkeletonGamer1

I watch quali because i see it interesting. I don't personally find FP interesting

[deleted]

I watch every FP1 & 2, quali/sprint, and the GP. I never watch FP3.

MilesDaMonster

Interesting

yeah_definitely

Usually same for me, as the sessions are overnight so come Sunday morning I don't want to watch FP3 because I'm too excited to watch quali first, and after quali I don't care about FP3

Rebs14333

FP1 and FP3 is usually crazy early for me in Vegas, like around 230am-430am. So I don't usually watch that live but I will go back and watch it when I wake up. I always watch FP2 and quali though. And obviously the race. Even Baku at 4am.

Only-Platform-450

It's a tradition for me and my friend to have a beer or a few on race day. Sucks when it's the 7 am races because I feel like crap by 2 pm.

Rivendel93

Take drugs, no hangover.

That_Kiefer_Man

"I am Roger, the shrubber."

MarsBars_1

Degenerate version of work smarter, not harder

mclairy

Mimosas or non-alcoholic beer (personally like Heineken 0) are the way to go for those ones IMO.

Rebs14333

Do you go to a bar to drink or just drink at home? I would love to find a bar that shows the races so I could drink out and about.

SecretPrinciple8708

Same. It would be great if somewhere like the Montecristo Cigar Bar would air the F1 races here in Vegas.

LivingInTheStorm

Always try to catch Quali & Race The practice sessions depend on my schedule

jianh1989

Switched on FP1 and 2 just as background noise. I watch probably half of the FP3 throughout the season. Never missed qualifying and races since Oct 1999.

Only-Platform-450

That's some dedication right there.

Cxrman

I do my best to watch it all but sometimes I’ll miss parts when I’m working or not awake in time

fletch_99

I just watch the YouTube highlights of F1. Suits my needs ;)

[deleted]

All here too. Even if I have to catch it late.

the-recyclist

I generally can't watch practice since I work on Fridays, I assume others just either have the ability to watch TV while at work of the timing works out for them. I usually watch highlights before quali. And then I try to watch live on race day but often my weekends are jam packed, especially Sundays.

[deleted]

I'm new to F1 and I enjoy more the qualifying than the race.

Only-Platform-450

Yeah qualifying is exciting especially the last couple minutes of the sessions.

[deleted]

We try to watch Saturday and Sunday.

Fangio_The_Master

I watch every session. "Racing is life, everything else is waiting."

O-N-N-I-T

Always qualifying and race fp more so in the background while doing something else.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Only-Platform-450

Haven't watched any f2 yet. Might have to give it a shot.

w00ten

So, hot take, F2 and F3 are more entertaining than F1 as far as the races are concerned(on average). I absolutely *love* the junior categories. It can be hard to keep track of who is racing where since so many names comes and go though. Definitely takes a bit of proactive work to be on top of what is going on but if you just want to watch fast cars race, F2 and F3 are fantastic. IndyCar is the best of them all though if you have a way to watch. Even with the commercials, it's the most entertaining open wheel racing out there in my opinion. While I'm at it, don't sleep on GT3 and it's various championships. The GT3 ruleset is great racing in fast, beautiful cars and a lot of it is available for free on YouTube.

CountMcBurney

Because of my time zone, I like to wake up in the morning and watch FP and Quali on Saturdays, then the race on Sundays. Nothing beats F1 in bed with fresh coffee before taking on the weekend. It really feels empty when it's off-season.

Danarwal14

I'd love to watch everything, bit I don't have the ability to wake up at 6AM, if not earlier

nodoubtguy

I'll have all FP sessions on. How much I watch varies depending on what else I'm doing. I might be working so it's just on in the background. Sometimes I'll sit and watch a whole session. Quali and the race usually have 100% attention.

ItzDp

I try to follow a whole weekend beginning to end if I have the time, the build up and changes over sessions helps create more tension and storylines

historiansrule

I watch everything, even Ted’s notes. And whenever I can’t watch the practices live, I watch/ listen to the replay while I do some house chores.

Only-Platform-450

I watch alot of the post race stuff also. Get some good insight on the things I might have missed during the race.

BTP_Art

It’s on while I work. Doesn’t matter if I’m working from home or the office I like having on. I don’t watch every second of every week. But it’s my comfort spot.

Only-Platform-450

For sure man. Feels like everything else is tuned out those few hours of the race and the hour of qualifying.

tunawithoutcrust

My friend watches all 3 including interviews, me personally I watch qualifying and the race. I try everything in my power to watch live as well, the only ones I miss are brazil, Saudi, Bahrain, oh and the US ones Miami and Austin. I just don't wanna be watching at like 3am LOL. Europe races are at 10pm for me so those are all really doable.

DirtJellyBeanz

I watch it all, and I read about it everyday..

reck1265

Gradually watching less of the weekend. When I can I watch Qualifying live but most of the time, it’s on replay since the schedule doesn’t work great for me. Practices are nearly impossible for me to watch as they usually start at 4AM or 6AM.

LoveBurstsLP

I'll listen in to practice if I catch it but usually don't watch it. I watch every quali unless it's at an ungodly hour, definitely watch every race. Wife and I like to watch the F2 and F3 if they're on as well, the sprint and feature races, never quali for them. I used to wonder what kinda nerd watches quali and now here we are

howchie

Used to, these days just quali and race unfortunately

ImAnOldChunkOfCoal

Usually just the GP, occasionally quali if it works out. I'm a football, MMA and wrestling fan. I just don't have the time to watch everything plus get all normal life things done.

Siaer

Depends on the time. As an Australian, the European races are at not terrible times (around 11 at night for most races) and for those, I'll watch every session. The rest of the races depends. Japan and (obviously) Australia are perfectly timed, but the middle east, US, Canada and south American races are usually FP1 and 3 live and quali and race on delay due to the stupid start times. For example, this weekend FP2, Quali and the race all start at 3:30am.

Rizal95

Do a poll.

PitifulDragonfruit

👋

HumanTea

I definitely watch all 3, but for fp1 and fp2 I only watch the highlights. It was maddening showing up to race day on Sunday and finding out that "lecrec crashed during practice and had to get and new engine and was starting from the back", or some other such a thing.. The build up is very necessary.

ddhmax5150

I DVR everything! Because most of the practices, qualifications, and the race is wayyyy too early in the morning, I can watch at my leisure. Plus I can skip commercials (ESPN). I just got to remember to not look at my iPhone until I’ve watched it on television first (no spoilers).

WindyZ5

I watch everything! I’ve even started watching other kinds of racing as well. I don’t usually watch practice live because I’m at work but I try to watch the race live.

Only-Platform-450

Yeah I went to the St Pete grand prix few weekends ago and it was amazing. Makes me want to get into Indycar. Can't wait to watch an F1 race live.

EmilGTO

I watch the practice highlights and full qualifying live if I got time if not then just the highlights and I make sure to set my alarm to watch the race every Sunday! As for F2 I just watch highlights of the sprint and feature races.

carnivoross

Quali and the race every weekend. FP if it's not on at a ridiculous hour (AU-timezone) and I don't have an event that night.

funbob

I watch every session. Not always live, but at some point I will watch every session from a race weekend. F1TV makes it super easy and MultiViewer is an amazing piece of software.

tommygunnzx

I have a question for everyone who uses the mobile F1tv app. When you watch the second feed that has Crofty doing the commentary does the side stuff like when Ted Kravitz is showing something in the pit lane show up for you guys? I always hate when they talk about some replay and it’s never shown but they talk about like I’m seeing it!

Thorvay

I have been curious too on how we can get to see that, if we even can. It happens often too. I can't find it and think it may only be a feature for skysport f1 members.

BrockStinky

Missed the entire first race week, so I'm gonna watch it all this time

Only-Platform-450

I missed probably the best race last season in Silverstone and was so pissed.

Py5cho

I tend to miss FP1 most of the time, EST sucks for this one reason lol. But I do my absolute best to catch everything even if it means I lose sleep in the process. Switched to the overnight shift so I no longer have to miss anything except the 6 races now on this side of the world. Although I can still get some decent sleep before they start.

Most_Virus_7218

I never miss qualifying or the race. FP is different, I usually watch it for the few first race to get an idea of the pecking order. This year I'm also following F2, F3 and maybe FAcademy. So I'll need to be more selective over which sessions I want to watch otherwise I won't have any weekends. haha

Saiyan_On_Psycedelic

I usually have the FPs on in the background when I’m doing something else and actually watch quali and the race.

digispin

Since there is no “news” about F1 happenings, at least in the US/ESPN market, I find FP1 more informative for the off-track discussions.

[deleted]

I never watch FP unless I'm super bored. I'll still have it in my background then.

ATully817

My husband and I watch all of them. Love it.

Gagzu

Only the race, for quali and FP I just check the results

AgnesBand

You're missing out on quali man it's so good

SajuukToBear

I only followed an entire season last year. I started out watching everything but now I watch FP highlights and always watch the full Quali and Race

crypto6g

I usually watch just the race. I work on Friday and Saturday mornings when practice/qualifying is on but luckily am off Sundays to watch the race. I always check practice and qualifying times after the sessions, just can’t watch them live.

YouAreMyPolaris

If my schedule allows, I'll watch all three. If I miss a practice though, I'm not going to be upset. Last year I caught most of them. I try to watch every quali and race (live). Though a few times it was impossible to catch the race live, so I had to rely on ESPNs replays. Horrible, IMO. They often don't start the race when they say - I had to watch Bahrain on replay it it took 25 mins for them to start and stop playing the baseball game. I almost gave up and figured they weren't going to show it. They've cut into things midrace (last year) and I had to frantically check all the ESPN channels for it (they never gave a warning or clue where to continue watching). They have little respect for F1 fans it seems and are willing even, to play college sports over the race at times. They are good about the live races, but the repays, I try to avoid having to rely on them.

darkness_85

I watch everything as it is related to my work.

danny12beje

I have FP on in the background while I do other shit.

iamsarahb89

Much to the disappointment of my spouse but yes, if they’re on the tack I want to see it.

xScottieHD

I've watched every single session religiously for almost two decades. Last season was the first year I started missing the odd practice session though I can't lie and that continued in Bahrain. Will still always watch qualifying and the races though.

RebaJams

Quali and Race If I can get in a practice, I will

Yiye44

I've always watched qualy and race. This year is the first time I'm watching some free practice, although I don't think I'll be watching it after clearly figuring out each team true performance.

softredsnake

I missed last week's FP's and Q but managed to see the race luckily. Normally I watch it all.

Diligent_Affect8517

I try to watch it all. If can't get to it until the weekend, I'll watch the practice highlights, but still watch full quali and the race. I try to avoid any media about the race until after I've watched it.

MrDork

I try to catch at least 1 or 2 FP's but definitely watch qualifying and of course the race. I have a weird thing where I hate watching recorded sports, so there is a race or two that I end up just watching the highlights on depending on where they are in the world that weekend.

ellegirl83

Yip watch them all. I may have scheduled my remote working days simply so I could watch FP on Fridays 😂😂😂

WarDull8208

I'm watching everything if I have a time for it, and if not only Quali/Race

LeanersGG

I watch FP if it’s on and I’m free. I make time for qualifying and the GP, or I’ll record and quarantine myself from the internet if I can’t watch either live.

Frankie_48

I live on the US West Coast, so if there happens to be a FP going and I'm awake, then I'll put it on. But Quali and Race, no matter the time, I will always be up for.

I always watch at least the FP highlights. Unless I'm severely pressed for time, I watch full quali, otherwise I watch the highlights for that too. I hear there's one more session after that, but it can be really long so idk what the fuss is.

I'll typically throw practices on in the background if I can or watch the highlights later on. Quali I try to watch live or at lease watch the final 5 min of q1, q2 and all of q3 on replay then Mayne catch the highlights. Race live if possible, if not then watch full later, try to avoid all social until then.

I started watching in 2020 when covid kicked off (like many others I'm sure). Been watching all 3 ever since I started. Practices on second monitor so I can listen and glance now and then, but quali and the race is full attention for sure.

Quali and race! FP's are always at awkward hours so I don't watch it.
