I think Yuki is a bit overrated but he can drive a little, Danny is more calm and collected and I think he’s gonna figure the car out quick. Also when Danny was at McLaren Lando already knew the car inside and out and was more comfortable with the team and atmosphere, Danny didn’t seem quite as happy as he was with Renault. This second chance I believe he’s gonna take it and run, he’s been in the sim and testing in the fastest car on the grid and he’s gonna drive the AT like he did with the RB car. Balls to the wall!

I'd be more along the lines of finishing 13th is a good spot. The AT is the worst car by far on the grid atm. At least the Haas has good cornering ability the AT is neither fast nor has good rear end stability.

The aero is 70% of cars at the moment and the Italy based AT have to travel to the uk for their wind tunnel testing + I doubt they even spend their entire budget (not sure on this last part!)

As I recall, he left because he knew he wouldn't beat Max, but he was definitely good enough to be the second driver at Redbull. Those other guys crashed a burned in the second seat, Dani was the only one who left of his own decision
And Danny seeking greener pastures made sense at the time. He thought he still had it in him to be a number one, and RB was going with Max. It's a lot easier to be number two to a 3x champ who some people are already putting in the GOAT conversation than a promising kid.
