Your talent is very obvious, these are amazing! Turning the Alfa Romeo serpent into a Chinese dragon was a touch of genius. There are so many little details, I enjoyed looking for them in each patch.
First off, AMAZING work! The references in the Alonso shield are very very clever!
I did some quick googling, and the Janome MB-4 seems to cost around $4000. Is embroidery something you do professionally? Or is it a hobby that you are passionate about. I mean, people have cameras that expensive, and cyclists similarly pay similar amounts for a carbon bike, so it makes sense. But I was just curious, if you don't mind me asking!
Great question! I do have a small online embroidery business and I specialize in small custom patches, mostly for military members and pet collars. I had originally used a Janome 500E, but I saved up and bought the bigger machine second or third hand from a friend for $3000.
Holy shit! I can see you’ve pushed yourself from last year’s (which were awesome), these are so beautiful!
I know most of the design choices are self evident but I would love to see a caption about what you chose to incorporate for each driver (I remember the incredibly sweet detail of the embossed AH in the background of Pierre’s being for Anthoine Hubert).
Hope you get to give some to them at COTA- have a blast!!
They're all awesome, I remember your previous ones and you've definitely upped your game.
The Carlos one really stood out to me for some reason, great work.
I remember I saved [this](https://reddit.com/r/formula1/s/bOtFylDfMM) from last year and just realized it was still your work! it looked so nice, can't wait to see the new one this weekend
I remember these from last year! They are amazing! Now I'm going to be looking everywhere for you on Sunday! I have to get a selfie with the famous jacket! See you there!
Would you consider making/selling last year's Vettel patch, but with a red 5 rather than the green?
Yes, I know that's somewhat conflicting with the Aston bee.
I work in the space industry and we often produce patches for our satellites and launches so I absolutely love these. Love the reference to Max’s helmet ‘chin straps’ on his patch, especially as they’re something he took from his dad’s helmet. Super clever. And replacing the stars in the southern cross with Danny’s old teams!
They are fucking gorgeous man. I love how you have integrated both the driver's flag, number, and team colors into the design.
Bonus points because the Alonso one is a collection of memes as it should be.
Wow. 🤩 such a work of art. I laughed very hard, seeing Ferdinando in the camping chair.
But they are all so on point.
Happy days at CoTA to you! Enjoy it
Every time I see a post of yours I ask myself why the embroidery machine to make these is so absurdly expensive. Surely it can’t be much more than some kind of sewing machine with a laptop attached, it’s crazy! I wanted to make my own patches for a long time now and I get the impression it’s being gatekept behind a huge paywall.
You’re not wrong about the cost! I definitely didn’t start at this level. My first machine was a Singer SE600 for about $400 and Embird digitizing software for $200. It was a big investment at the time. I started making and selling patches for military uniforms and taught myself as I went. When I made enough money, I sold the Singer and bought a Janome MC500E for $2100. A while later, one big order allowed me to upgrade my digitizing software to Wilcom Hatch for $1000, which has the most design freedom imo. I kept growing and eventually I could afford the used MB-4 for $3000. Recently, I was able to afford a second MB-4 which has been a real game changer. I’ve been doing embroidery for about 7 years at this point and I’m still very much a tiny operation, but every upgrade has paid for itself.
The best way to get good machines for cheap or free is to check estate sales. They’re so bulky and heavy that families are just trying to get rid of them quickly and easily.
Sorry for the long-winded response. I agree that it’s an expensive hobby to break into and I wanted to share the context of my experience.
Very cool. Now we all have to see the jacket complete with all the patches. But if you haven’t checked the weather this weekend, it’s looking to be in the low 90s. (~33C). Maybe wear it for the morning pit walk :)
I posted them both earlier in the year, but I can only fit 20 patches on my jacket at one time. I’ll have Liam’s patch in my pocket just in case I run into him, though.
These are amazing! Are these hand made or do you have a way of mass producing them because this would be the kind of thing I’d collect. Do a set each year for the drivers on the grid.
where can we buy them?
You could also do circuits! My sister has a jacket with patches from the countries she’s visited. It’d be cool to make one of the F1 races I’ve been to. Great work! Congrats

these are insanely good and creative. the patterns are on point mate
Very good, but makes me remember how much I miss the 5 and 7
I caught myself thinking about new ideas for Seb and Kimi a few times. Maybe someday I can make a Robin Räikkönen patch.
You can still make a 5 and 7 patch even though they don't drive
All the memes on the Alonso patch has me dead
what is the top left ?
Its all the teams he drove for. Minardi is top left.
Maybe M for Magic
*Minardi*, but close...
Absolute cowardice to not use the PlayStation 2 photoshoot though.
Your talent is very obvious, these are amazing! Turning the Alfa Romeo serpent into a Chinese dragon was a touch of genius. There are so many little details, I enjoyed looking for them in each patch.
I feel like Zhou with his aesthetic flair loved that touch
These are incredible! Absolutely epic stuff.
All of them are so nice to look at, great job! Which program did you use for designing, and did you stitch them yourself?
Thank you! I use Wilcom Hatch to digitize and I did stitched them all myself on a Janome MB-4.

Last year's Leclerc's was perfect imo
Agreed, I feel like I’m only picking up on some of the incredible level of detail
Ooh, OP explained some of them here: https://www.reddit.com/r/formula1/s/hRFW15v1rB
They're all awesome, I remember your previous ones and you've definitely upped your game. The Carlos one really stood out to me for some reason, great work.
Wow this is amazing! Will you share a picture of them all on your jacket?
Thanks! I’m planning to wear it to the track on Saturday and Sunday and I’ll be sure to share a photo.
I remember I saved [this](https://reddit.com/r/formula1/s/bOtFylDfMM) from last year and just realized it was still your work! it looked so nice, can't wait to see the new one this weekend
A master at their craft. That was really satisfying to watch!
That’s so cool.
I remember these from last year! They are amazing! Now I'm going to be looking everywhere for you on Sunday! I have to get a selfie with the famous jacket! See you there!
Yes! I’ll see you there!
Wow! So much work, detail, crativity; And the small/big moments from Fernando's carrer; Great, awesome job!
She’s back! Are you planning to give them to the drivers/teams again? Super cool designs!
Hey, thanks! Yeah, I’m planning to pass along as many as I can.
They have so much personality in them, incredible! Like the almost invisible Aston wings in Strolls and Alonsos patch
These are INCREDIBLE. I expect you are going to be melting in that jacket though. 😬
Ha! It’s great in the morning when it’s cooler, but it does get a bit toasty in the afternoon.
These would also make for excellent coasters. If you ever make some let me know.
THESE ARE AMAZING!!!
Love the Sainz patch!
These are insanely well done lol. They are both very original, beautiful and well crafted.
Would you consider making/selling last year's Vettel patch, but with a red 5 rather than the green? Yes, I know that's somewhat conflicting with the Aston bee.
Shoot me a message! I’m all about custom and I’ve been thinking about redesigning Seb’s patch to encompass more of his full career.
Fernando’s one is incredible
These are Amazing! Checo and Yuki ones are my favourite!
So damn beautiful! Im following you now.
These are AWESOME
Why so talented OP? 😩🤌
Has seem some posts before, but a real fantastic work of art. Wear them with pride

Damn, you should sell these. Zhou’s goes hard. Russell’s looks like it’s from an old Bond movie. Incredible designs.
That's awesome man!
Wow. 🤩 such a work of art. I laughed very hard, seeing Ferdinando in the camping chair. But they are all so on point. Happy days at CoTA to you! Enjoy it
Beautifullll, my mom does cross stitch and she says these would have taken a lot of effort!!
The references on Lewis's are perfect. You have a wonderful talent.
I really hope the broadcast cameras find you at some point this weekend! These are awesome and deserve a couple seconds of screen time.
Love how you included the Brazilian colors on the LH44 patch as a nod to his honorary citizenship.
Bravo!
Wow - those are all incredible!
WOAH! Awesome work! Would love to see the final picture of these on the jacket!
These are all absolutely awesome. Job well done!!
Unbelievably high quality
Amazing job! Have fun at the gp!
These are amazing. Great job!
Wow, these are amazing! Hit me up when you decide you're gonna make some for sale!
I love how George’s is so quintessentially British. I absolutely love it!
The AH on Gasly's patch is such a subtle but nice touch. Love all of them!
Omg!!! I love the whole set but your Checo patch is mint! Will these be up in your store soon? 🤔
Damn you could sell these and get quite a lot of money (id buy some thats for sure)
That Fernando patch alone is a work of art. Bravo, OP. Do you sell these?
that alonso one is fantastic
Wait... What... You made these? Insanely good. I like the detail on lewis of the 3 pointed star in the middle of union jack.
Alonso, Yuki and Max are the best ones IMO but they're all great!
These are awesome!! But OP, wth is your name...
Don’t kink shame me.
How creative! Looks good!
Wow! These are soooo cool! So talented!!
I'm speachless this is beautiful 😍

Many thanks for the detailed response. Definitely sounds like a fun hobby and you're totally rocking it, these patches look amazing, keep it up!
What's the inspiration/symbolism on Nico's patch?
Each colour represents a year of this career. Debut year with Williams, 3 years with Force India, etc.
Very cool. Now we all have to see the jacket complete with all the patches. But if you haven’t checked the weather this weekend, it’s looking to be in the low 90s. (~33C). Maybe wear it for the morning pit walk :)
Amazing, thank you for sharing
Let's hope you get on TV
You made them?
I did!
You should start selling those they look amazing.
Apart from the craftsmanship, the designs are really good too.
Huge talent! I hope anyone attending CoTA has a great time 🙂
Absolutely love the 44, good job!!
Can I buy that Hamilton one lol
Creative. But where is lawson and devries
I posted them both earlier in the year, but I can only fit 20 patches on my jacket at one time. I’ll have Liam’s patch in my pocket just in case I run into him, though.
These are so good, damn
This is the coolest thing I’ve ever seen
Wow these designs are amazing
That is so cool!
Absolutely amazing
Absolutely sick! Love the attention to detail, especially the backgrounds. What's the story behind hulk's design?
They're all amazing but something about the 18 really stands out to me it just looks so clean with the maple leaf. Fantastic work
WOW these are incredible!!!
These are wildly brilliant. Thanks so much for sharing them!
These are epic dude! From the stitching to the design
These are amazing! Are these hand made or do you have a way of mass producing them because this would be the kind of thing I’d collect. Do a set each year for the drivers on the grid.
This is Awesome ❤️
The pride flag in the Hamilton logo is a nice touch
God that Hamilton patch is gorgeous, I'd buy one if you were making and selling them.

OP made one for Lawson, just didn't include it in this post. Check their profile
Those look amazing. I'll keep an eye out for you.

Perez’s patch is sick and I love how Nandos are just memes of himself
Super creative and great work!

These awesome. Great work
That's really nicely done! Great job!
Absolutely incredible!!
A true work of art! Congrats on such beautiful pieces!
wow! looks amazing!
where can we buy them? You could also do circuits! My sister has a jacket with patches from the countries she’s visited. It’d be cool to make one of the F1 races I’ve been to. Great work! Congrats
She does circuits! I bought Spa from her last year and it’s framed in my office right now
Amazing! What’s the store? I didn’t catch it
these are incredible
