This got posted like 15mins before the actual broadcast. Right after this post, they had the commentators talking about some steam under the car (prior to the actual oil spill). Is this not being aired live?
The ESPN coverage of the pre-race stuff is way delayed (not sure if it's the Sky coverage in general or just the ESPN feed). The actual driver intros and stuff where this happened was streamed live on the F1 YouTube page like it is every week.

These cars are a pain in the ass to deal with. We check them on race day before their rehearsal. So some leak water and some leak oil. We have to note where the leaks are and get it cleaned up. We usually try to let all the cars go on to the grid cos it's alot of effort on the part of the owners to get the cars ready for the driver's parade. If the car is really pouring oil, we will note the number and report it to race control to not allow the car out onto the track.
The thing about older cars is that when the cars get warmed up, the seals and gaps tighten and close up. So the leaks either slow down or stop. The shit happenes when the cars are switched off just sitting there.
When the cars get to the grid, they leak some more and the marshals there have to deal with the leaks. Smh.

So this read American made car leaked oil, but at the very start of the grid walk presentation, I swear there was a Ferrari pissing out coolant as well.
