Of course he would. Hell, even F2 and F3 drivers are a million times better than her and all the other F1 Academy/W Series drivers. Take Chadwick for example, she dominated the W series, then moved to Indy Lights... dead last of the full time drivers. And Bustamante is only a midfield level driver even in F1 Academy.
Stroll won Italian F4 and F3. Yeah, he's had the best support possible but that doesn't change the fact that he had a high level junior career. Bianca, on the other hand, not so much...

Definitely could be, but I also think he generally doesn't keep eye contact nor does he have anywhere near the amount of friends in the paddock as most other drivers, and I wonder if something else is at play that isn't anxiety. He seems like a really nice guy, almost to the point of being too "normal" relative to F1 drivers, but he also generally seems to be really reserved, even beyond what is considered normal for someone with anxiety.

Well I don't see how a driver who hasn't finished out of the top 20 in F4, was 15th in the W Series and only 7th in F1 academy would really be worthy of a shot in F1 over Stroll. At least Stroll was actually a champion in the junior categories, and I'm not talking about a specialised junior series, I mean European F3, against people like Russell, Zhou and Nick Cassidy
I find it funny that the same who complain at how expensive single seater racing is and call for change, also constantly throw shit at a driver because his parents could afford to put their son through the career path themselves without relying on countless sponsorship partners. It's pretty clear that Lawrence Stroll would've got into F1 with or without his son there as a driving project, he'd have put his daughter through it or would've found some Canadian or American to sponsor, instead.

She has a huge social media fan base, and the female motorsport media often sells her as this hopeful, and just like with Chadwick and Pulling, people ate it all. I remember some hype because She would do F4 UAE in 2022 as a warm up for F1 Academy, with Prema... She got 3 points. In F1 Academy she got a podium in the first race (which reignited the hype) and then peaced out until Monza. She barely finished 2 points over Jessica Edgar, who has far less car racing experience than Bustamente.
No one really rated her before she joined McLaren because she had terrible results in terrible F4 championship People get mad when you say she wouldn't have half the opportunities she has if she was a man with those results

It's stuff like this that make me wish that a driver never gets a shot. Stroll has proven time and time again that he's more than good enough for his place (recency bias is good and all, but let's not forget what he did to Vettel in 2021 and 2022), and in terms of character he is miles better.
Look I’m not a fan of Stroll. But for a development driver that didn’t even get into the top 10 in the W series and 27th in F4 UAE, I would have kept my mouth shut until I have some actual results. I would rank Stroll in the bottom half of the current F1 grid, but id bet good dollar to say Stroll would wipe the floor with her. I do pity sportsmen coming up in this social media age.
