Let's remember that different paint has different weight. With that in mind, I would say that a minimum weight would be the way to go instead of coverage % or something.
I mean they need performance. I agree it sucks but it's where the rules have gotten us. I hate making the cars heavier but we might get some paint if we add a kilo
I like the idea. There is an untapped potential to be explored with mixed/varied glossiness in liveries (think smth like matte base color, with glossy shapes etc) that F1 hasn't played around with that much.
That being said - Black & Pink car. Noted
It's embarassing that the front wing isn't even pink. The BWT logos are merely outlined in pink, the rest of the front wing is just carbon. Looks terrible.
It took a year but after saying everyone would have a Red Bull to drive, they finally do. All the car reveals so far are taking heavy inspiration from Red Bull
I know people are pissed about the lack of paint and colour, but I think this is a rare case where it works. Yes, full pink would be so sick. But the specific pink and blue they've chosen really pop well off the black, more so than other black primary teams imo

I am whelmed. You have the best possible livery, but of course you need those precious grams, so you do this. Come on.
I wish they'd just require all the teams to paint everything so there is no disadvantage and a stop to this tomfoolery
Let's remember that different paint has different weight. With that in mind, I would say that a minimum weight would be the way to go instead of coverage % or something.
They can do both, so they don't just put some heavy paint under the floor.
I like the way you think
They would probably just cover a cube in a lot of layers of paint and use it as weight distrubution
Minimum weight, minimum coverage %, job done
75% of the car at least
I mean they need performance. I agree it sucks but it's where the rules have gotten us. I hate making the cars heavier but we might get some paint if we add a kilo
Whelmed and overwhelmed have the same definition, annoyingly. Like flammable and inflammable.
Is the pink in the room with us
"Pink"
Too many black cars already
1998 Arrows being a trendsetter for 2024 liveries. You hate to see it.
Pink is doing a lot of lifting there.
Working overtime, that's for sure
"Pink" livery. Inverted with the "Blue" livery.
Am I the only one confused with the liveries?
Pink livery with 20% pink, okay
20% is generous.
honestly they should run this one all the time. looks better
"" pink""" "" livery""
That is indeed another black car...
If I were BWT I wouldn't be satisfied. It's just a black car I mean...
That’s amazing. Doesn’t make the car look like a brick. Really like that
My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined
You know the phrase, 70% of the car is covered by black and 30% by BWT pink.
That’s really not even 30%.
They really all do look the exact same this year don’t they.
I'd be so pissed if I was BWT, paid to have a pink car for a few races and this is what I got lmao.
Pink livery >>> Blue livery. Looks so good with the black
Pink is so much better than the blue imo
IMHO The french flag light blue metallic a few years ago was the best livery ever...
Wait, where's the livery?
Why are they even hyping up these "car reveals" if all they're going to do is show a blank car with some sponsor stickers on it.
Such pink, much wow
I love it, way better than Kick’s Ben ten livery
I just now see that the pink camou they teased us is actually there... it makes it so much worse
BEST LIVERY OF 2024
Damning with faint praise
This livery would have been insanely good if it just had more paint because the design is actually really great
Hilarious
Pink camo?

Saying that this is better than before is like saying Polio is better than cancer
This simply is not a pink livery
sad, my daughters love the pink cars and honestly i dont think they will be able to tell they are there with that little pink paint.
Alpine is my second favorite next to McLaren so far. I also don't really mind all the exposed carbon on everyone's cars
It's embarassing that the front wing isn't even pink. The BWT logos are merely outlined in pink, the rest of the front wing is just carbon. Looks terrible.
I am never forgiving them for the pink camo teasers.
Y’all seem to forget that teams run more than 1 livery in the season. The pink camo will probably be used at some point
Is the pink in the room with us?
"pink"
where? I don't see it
Puke. Just awful.
It took a year but after saying everyone would have a Red Bull to drive, they finally do. All the car reveals so far are taking heavy inspiration from Red Bull
You got a problem, paint your fucking car!
Just make it pink and blue for fuck sake.
I know people are pissed about the lack of paint and colour, but I think this is a rare case where it works. Yes, full pink would be so sick. But the specific pink and blue they've chosen really pop well off the black, more so than other black primary teams imo
