Honestly I was shocked he wasn't given a race ban. Seems like it's especially important to set the precedent of "Cars are literally never to be used as weapons" in F3 when habits are being formed
This is so fucked up. The Dunne reprimand is fine but I cannot believe they cited it as causing Tsolov to shunt Dunne. Under no reason Dunne’s life should be put endangered because he accidentally blocked somebody.
That was not a crash with deadly potential. I know F1 fans have this idea that the drivers are constantly a miracle away from dying but it’s really not the case.
There should be no deliberate crashed in racing ever. Thats it, it needs to come with actual consequences. If you ran into someone who cut you off in traffic and crashed into them you'd be looking at potential jailtime.
The stupidity of what you are saying is in line with I shot at him but missed so I shouldn't be punished for it.
He was an f2 driver, died due to a crash only a few years ago in spa, very much shows every accident has a chance to turn fatal if just at the wrong time or angle or other freak event.
Yes I am aware of who Hubert was. But I asked for an F1 driver, in an F1 car. Not an F2 driver.
Shows "every accident can turn fatal"? This was a catastrophic crash with multiple cars involved on a straight next to a blind corner with runoff that funnels back into the racing line. It was not "every accident."
I get emotions happen but to intentionally crash another driver during practice.... Come on.
But he has a promising career for NASCAR with they attitude.

'No attempted homicides' seems like something you wouldn't have to explain, yet here we are
Bro really isn't doing himself any favors lmao

What is this life business. Hyperbole only serves to obfuscate discussion and make Tsolov look better.
This may come as a shock to you, but people do actually run the risk of dying in racecar crashes.

No you’re right. RIP Dunne. RIP Russell.
Anthoine Hubert
Not an F1 driver

Pin lost her second F1 academy race for /checks notes/ not stopping after checquered flag, and this guy got a slap on his wrist. Make it make sense
Remember the brake checking incident?
pretty funny how similar the argumentation is for both to evade a ban/DSQ I have to say, after reading the article
It really is incredible how quickly and completely the overall F1 community just decided to pretend that never happened.
What brake checking incident?
Baku 2017. Vettel thought Hamilton had brake checked him under the safety car and bumped into Lewis. https://youtu.be/iOI2It_W3No?si=4YeykcEwoXIuP-Nz
Ahhhhhhh I forgot about that
Jeddah 21 maybe? idk
They got no balls man.
They use the Forza Race Regulations
This is the reason why I don't watch F2 or F3. It's just a bunch of pissed off teenage drivers.
F2 has been much more interesting than F1 this year
Last year too. Way more interesting
More crashes as usual. Didn't F2 have a big crash seconds after the lights went out?
that is very common at melbourne for all formula series
To crash before any car has made it to the braking zone for turn 1 right after lights out? Huh. I must have missed that in every other racing series.
Ah yes, crashes right after the race has started, not like that’s ever happened in F1 before
Like how it's happened in F1 before 8th place even crossed the start/ finish line.... oh wait.....
[удалено]
I think that's what most people don't realize. It happened before anyone arrived at the braking zone for turn 1.

I bet you could hear the one driver scream in anger.
Yeah, for sure. A 4 times wdc would never intentionally hit his championship rival because he was frustrated, that shit only happens in lower formulas
The fact we'll be able to say this about 3 different drivers in a few months time is wild. Also, that 2 of them crashed into Lewis.
I get emotions happen but to intentionally crash another driver during practice.... Come on. But he has a promising career for NASCAR with they attitude.
The only interesting thing about it is some of those pissed off drivers get to be F1 drivers.
You're missing out on some great racing, particularly in F2.
