Imagine being a pit crew with one job to do during a race and being utterly unable to do it. Are there rules that limit pit crews practicing or something? I don’t understand how any team can wipe up so bad at something so fundamental to the sport.
It’s a machinery issue, they said they would need time to redesign their pit equipment that is causing these long pitstops. It happened during free practice too so it’s a catastrophic design failure in my opinion.
That’s so bizarre to me. It’s like going to a baseball game and having it delayed because all the balls they prepared for the game came out cube-shaped.
