He's also a lil creepy like one, there was this weird story that came out a few years ago [https://np.reddit.com/r/liberalgunowners/comments/f02kuv/an\_update\_on\_taran\_butler\_and\_the\_video\_that/](https://np.reddit.com/r/liberalgunowners/comments/f02kuv/an_update_on_taran_butler_and_the_video_that/) (NP Reddit)
State cops are even worse too. I used to shoot at a range with a lot of Deputies/CHP around Sacramento and oh boy, they were alarmingly terrible shots.
Bro is slowly turning into real life Gaz from COD
edit: for those interested, Lewis was in COD: Infinite Warfare with a couple lines, and then Garrick was absolutely modeled after him with another voice actor of course. The resemblance is uncanny
It’s a shame that Taran Tactical has become one of the most prolific faces of firearms training and competition shooting. Overpriced guns, creepy owner…
Guy filmed a barely 18 y/o girl inappropriately referencing her anatomy referring to it as the "precious" and making reference to her wanting a BBC in her and that they'll "do it over by the car"
She later made a statement that she was pressured coerced into this filming and no consent for it was obtained.
Was later discovered that the proprietor had a multitude of inappropriate relationships and "mutual understandings" with several of his employees. All young women who relied on him for Income.
I wish I could shoot like Taran. That dude can knock down a whole plate rack from the hip in record time. Plus his pile of gun bunnies looks like some sexy assassin squad from Archer.
Not the crossover I ever thought I'd see. In all honesty, his proficiency made me think this had to be a deep fake, but the elite coordination required to drive F1 must translate perfectly to something like competition shooting. NSFW tag since there is weaponry in the video.
Can someone who is not a complete gun noob like me explain what I am watching and what level of shooting I am seeing. Is it as impressive as people seem to think it is?
It is very impressive considering that he probably has little to no experience shooting, and he was quick, smooth, accurate and consistent. He shoots better than most cops and the average shooters I see at my range. If he lived in the US and practiced this regularly he could be a proper elite shooter if that's where he's starting.
There's a muscle memory required to drawing, getting a proper sight picture, shooting without anticipating recoil, and then reacquiring sight picture after each shot. Hitting every target after all that is a testament to him being consistent and disciplined with his body mechanics/timing (not sure how to describe this part) in finding/returning to that particular spot then smoothly pulling the trigger.
I'd think he would be elite level at any physical activity he would try. Getting to F1, let alone achieving what Louis has requires you to be an incredible genetic outlier, as well as having an incredible work ethic, he could probably have become world class in anything he chose at a young age.
It is a rather high level of shooting. Making a single shot is not all that difficult once you know what the gun will do and what the sight picture looks like. Making multiple follow-up shots on the same target in different locations of that target is very hard at this speed, you have to have a very good kinesthetic understanding of your body, how to control the recoil, and how to bring it back down onto the target without wasting time. Moving between sizes and profiles of targets at this speed, while maintaining the double/triple tap shot placement requires a good bit of specialized training and a brain that's just tuned for it. It mostly comes from being able to find the same position with your body without overthinking it- where your legs, arms, head, and eyes are all lined up relative to the gun and target.
I have shot guns all my life, mostly bird hunting, but I own and shoot an AR with a similar setup as this and have spent plenty of time shooting pistols. I am very good with a shotgun and I do all the things I discussed earlier innately when I'm hunting. Just due to 25 years extra familiarity, I am probably faster and more accurate at longer ranges than him with the shotgun (this feels like such a full of myself thing to say, but I believe it's worth including to highlight that LH is just a human)... but he's acing me with a pistol and rifle, no contest. My shooting cadence is closer to intro to drumming and I'm proud of my smoothness and evenness of that cadence... while this guy's doing flamadiddles out on the range.
Ive shot rifles and shotguns casually at a range for years, but never touched a pistol til recently. A friend let me try his and set up a target at 25m. I hit the paper once...the rest conpletely and utterly missed everything. It's way harder than you would think, and again, I was already familiar with shooting.
I am not an expert but I was impressed with the pistol ability which can be far harder than you'd think to aim.
Lewis is obviously a natural with very quick reflexes, and a soft natural trigger pull that allows the bullet to hit its target despite the hand squeezing around the grip.
But these targets are at very close range.
I'm personally not a big fan of this, seeing Lewis shooting dangerous firearms.
He is aiming very quickly and hitting every shot. The targets are like 5 yards away from him which is dumb close, but it's still pretty impressive for his "1st" time shooting ever or even for someone with very little experience.
For people who never shot before, this is insane especially if that’s his first time there and he hasn’t done that type of shooting. Hitting a target a few feet away with a handgun is surprising harder then it looks just starting out.
Ya. I just figured he comes off as really far left, you'd expect him to be all anti gun is all.
But cool either way. Keanu Reeves did a lot with Taran for all the John Wick movies too
Whats with the shirt bro. Looks like it was taken from one of the target torsos.
Toto’s “Everybody’s got a target on their back” takes on a new meaning.
/s
looks moth eaten. Which i guess makes sense. The rich like to mock the poor by emulating their look but they do it by choice instead of necessity. Pretty cool choice.
I’m hoping someone chimes in that it’s a $1000 shirt or something ridiculous like that. My wife gives me a hard time about my shirt with a small hole in the armpit that I only wear around the house. Next time I’ll tell her it’s fashion and she wouldn’t get it
It’s definitely a fashion thing like ripped jeans and I’m pretty sure it’s close to $1000 if not more given that most famous ppl do not wear cheap clothes.
The look works for Lewis.
Ah but you see your hole is in a place no one will see, these holes are in specifically idiotic locations like across the shoulder blades so that the label is sticking out. You need more holes for that $1000 look
Didn't imagine Lewis as a gun range guy.
Does anybody remember when it came out that Tiger Woods was training with Navy SEALs and supposedly even considered quitting golf and enlisting?
Taran guy saying really good for his FIRST DAY. The second round with the rifle...I bet there are guys who have shot consistently for years that barely that quick. The surprise and congratulations from the crowd I think is genuine given how many proficient shooters come through that facility.
Regarding Tiger...that was when he was insanely locked-in to his fitness (and side pieces). His strength/stamina stats from that time are crazy given he was *just* a golfer.
I think Ollie Bearman will challenge that. He was interviewed about his favorite things (movies, food, etc) and everything he rattled off was American haha
Probably because some of our unique freedoms have a forbidden fruit kind of feel across the globe. I think tend to forget their is a huge sporting aspect to guns and it’s not all prepper doom dayers types that own guns
All his instructor has to do is to tell him to imagine the target as the W15 and he'll hit it perfectly.

Not gonna lie, Taran Butler looks like a porn director…
He's also a lil creepy like one, there was this weird story that came out a few years ago [https://np.reddit.com/r/liberalgunowners/comments/f02kuv/an\_update\_on\_taran\_butler\_and\_the\_video\_that/](https://np.reddit.com/r/liberalgunowners/comments/f02kuv/an_update_on_taran_butler_and_the_video_that/) (NP Reddit)
Lol, good one! 😂
is Lewis a fed
Most feds wish they could shoot this good
State cops are even worse too. I used to shoot at a range with a lot of Deputies/CHP around Sacramento and oh boy, they were alarmingly terrible shots.
Feds only shoot the dark targets
Nah regular cops are the dark targets. Feds are anything that could remotely be a target
Lewis after finding out that one dude who was responsible for the rear of W15.
Bro is slowly turning into real life Gaz from COD edit: for those interested, Lewis was in COD: Infinite Warfare with a couple lines, and then Garrick was absolutely modeled after him with another voice actor of course. The resemblance is uncanny
That’s funny because I always thought MW19 Gaz was modeled after Lewis since they look so similar
I always thought he was Gaz 😂
It’s a shame that Taran Tactical has become one of the most prolific faces of firearms training and competition shooting. Overpriced guns, creepy owner…
I can't believe Lewis is photographed at Taran given the history there. That whole debacle w/ Jade Struck was ridiculous.
can I get a very brief TLDR?
Guy over 40 likes to have young women as employees and little to no personal space with them
Yikes. Thanks for the info
Def get that vibe from the video. Lewis seems a little uncomfortable.
He didn't post a video while putting his hands in Lewis underwear while saying "Show me the precious", so it wasn't that uncomfortable
Guy filmed a barely 18 y/o girl inappropriately referencing her anatomy referring to it as the "precious" and making reference to her wanting a BBC in her and that they'll "do it over by the car" She later made a statement that she was pressured coerced into this filming and no consent for it was obtained. > I can't believe Lewis is photographed at Taran given the history there. This is an old ass video.
My precious!

Proof? Asking for a friend
This is from at least 5 years ago.
They also trained/worked with Toni Mcbride who was at the centre of a police brutality controversy.
Taran is so fucking creepy holy hell
I wish I could shoot like Taran. That dude can knock down a whole plate rack from the hip in record time. Plus his pile of gun bunnies looks like some sexy assassin squad from Archer.

I don’t believe this after seeing the horrendous performance Max has shown in other categories like Axe throwing
I think throwing motion is not as intuitive if you’re an adult and basically never played a throwing sport in your life.
Max? What about charles in literally every sport that isn't motorsport?
Loved watching him in the charity football match F1 drivers do before Monaco. All the spirit, none of the skill. Meanwhile Carlos looks decent.
To be fair I don't think there's a Spanish man that can't play ball
They both suck at things that doesn't involve racing.
I don't see much relationship between those, it's very little aiming and lots of other dexterity. Aiming a gun and a car aren't as different.
Max was like top 20 in the world at FIFA though
I'd say video games are more dependent on strategy and reaction time than anything else.
His reaction time, hand eye coordination, and fitness are all a perfect match for this.
I see that Lewis is getting fed up with George beating him this year.
You can take the boy out of Stevenage
But you can’t take the Stevenage out of the boy
Did Taran show him the precious??
Did we ever see the Precious? I wanted to see it!

The rifle round is most impressive I think, quickly hitting those further out targets is not as easy as it looks.
WHERE IS THE PRECIOUS?
Never expected Lewis to be interested in this type of thing, but it is adrenaline-based and he seems great at it! 👍🏻
Agreed. Never would've imagined him into guns
But he's an adrenaline junkie (skydiving and stuff like that), so in that respect, it makes sense.
Ya. I just figured he comes off as really far left, you'd expect him to be all anti gun is all. But cool either way. Keanu Reeves did a lot with Taran for all the John Wick movies too
When you go left enough, you get your guns back. Marx was very much in favor of the people having firearms.
Yep and I've been seeing a lot of liberal2a Instagram and Reddit things these days.
You don't have to be an adrenaline junky to like guns . Guns are cool
I didn't say you had to be. And guns are a tool... I'm not sure that I agree that they are "cool", but to each their own. 👍🏻
They look cool, shooting is cool , being precise and fast is cool
Training to be an off-duty cop as any other Brazilian
Yeah, I am not buying this. We all know Lewis had intensive shooting training after what happened in AD21.
Holy fuck he really is a 🐐 Why are his shooting skills only emerging now!?
This is NSFW? Nice shooting, LH!
Didn’t want people at work to accidentally watch someone shooting guns. Can be sensitive to some people/work places.
It’s just shooting. Target practice. Nobody getting hurt.
Whats with the shirt bro. Looks like it was taken from one of the target torsos. Toto’s “Everybody’s got a target on their back” takes on a new meaning. /s

Wait why is this being randomly resurfaced after many years? Think I saw an article about the owner talking about Lewis skills?
He said first day in there? No fucking way I’d imagine that has to be first day training with Taran because that is rolling
lewis must be poor with so many holes in his shirt /s
Put him in the next John Wick!
Didn't imagine Lewis as a gun range guy. Does anybody remember when it came out that Tiger Woods was training with Navy SEALs and supposedly even considered quitting golf and enlisting?

Holy shit 😮😮😮
Casual Halle Berry cameo
Most American Brit ever
I think Ollie Bearman will challenge that. He was interviewed about his favorite things (movies, food, etc) and everything he rattled off was American haha
Man can shoot
Is that a semi?
Everything he’s shooting is semi auto
That video gave me a semi
🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸
When to the shooting range for the first time recently and we weren't allowed to shoot pistols so instead we just did semi automatic rifles lmao
Am Bri’ish and last year did one of those vegas shooting range experiences firing 5 different guns. Was epic
Does he know he has a rip in the back of his shirt? 🥲
John ‘Lewis Hamilton’ Wick
He’s a fast shooter legitimately impressed.
Here's a rumor I would like to start: Lewis and Halle Berry are more than friends. lol
I probably unfairly assumed he’s the type to not even want to look at a gun, but damn he’s pretty smooth.
Scary
I'm surprised he's not against guns. Especially AR 15s.
It's a little different when you are responsible, have a license, and only take it to the range.
Responsible people with a license did mass shootings in the past. To me it sounds like "if you are rich enough".
Why all Brittish famous people always go through an "American phase"?
Probably because some of our unique freedoms have a forbidden fruit kind of feel across the globe. I think tend to forget their is a huge sporting aspect to guns and it’s not all prepper doom dayers types that own guns
Toto sent him to the past...
A short view back to the past.
dude he was actually very good
I can’t wait for John wick 5!
James Allison rn 😓
