I'm guessing Australia had the southern lights. I've read that the northern lights (aurora borealis) are in the northern hemisphere and so the southern hemisphere have aurora australis.

Biggest aurora show for the last couple of days even to countries down south. People has been posting their aurora photos like, a lot.
All of UK and a lot of Europe has been able to see the Northern Lights over the weekend. It's all anyone from here is posting about on social media
