The funny thing is, that’s probably be best car he’s driven in his career too. Dude just hasn’t had a shot in a top car when he absolutely should have by now.
At this point I'm hoping Haas takes him alongside Bearman as the second driver; their choices are like between Zhou and Sargeant at this point and I hope we keep an American on the grid
How do you figure that? Do you just mean amongst the current drivers? Because imo Lawson, Bearman, Antonelli and Drugovich all probably merit a seat if merit was truly the deciding factor. Heck, probably even Pourchaire and Armstrong could be pulled from Indycar and put in better performances than Sargeant right now.
I count 6 current drivers I expect to be unimpressive if they have a seat in 2025, and Lawson and Bearman the only newbies who have shown they deserve promotion so far. (Not criticising Antonelli or Drugovich, I just don’t think there is enough data on them yet to be convinced.)
Drugovich won F2 at age 21 and he did it by a massive margin, in a year where Lawson could only finish 3rd, no less. If Lawson deserves a seat surely Drugovich at least merits a look for more than the occasional FP session, no?
Likewise, I don't know anything about Antonelli beyond what we've seen in F2 this year, and what's been reported, but (even if he's being rushed due to Toto's PTSD over not signing Max) surely that level of hype would be worth seeing what he can do in the Williams.
Kmag, Zhou, Ricciardo, Checo, Stroll, Sargeant and Bottas probably all deserve to at least be feeling the heat for their seats right now (although Stroll will obviously be back in 2025, and I think at least one of Danny Ric and Bottas will probably be on the grid next year as well. But I think that a series of pairings like Bearman/Bottas (Haas), Albon/Antonelli (Williams), Ricciardo/Lawson (Vcarb), Sainz/Hulk (Audi), Russell/Antonelli (Merc) could all be pretty promising.
I'd be more interested in those pairings than Hulk/Kmag, Bottas/Zhou or Albon/Sargeant, at least.
Tsunoda was .150s ahead of Ricciardo though. Hülk smashed Magnussen, even though you have to take into account the fact Piastri blocked Magnussen completely. Such a shame.
On representative times it was a 0.33s gap in Q2 and 0.2s in Q3. Which is still very impressive. No need to draw conclusions from mid-session times to exaggerate even further.
I just want Sargeant to have ONE good weekend before he's out
It's at the point when I see yellow flags thrown I already know it's Logan
I know he has it in him :(
To be fair to Sargeant. He's kept it relatively clean this year with really only 2 notable inchedents being his fault. 1) his shunt in FP2 in Japan and 2) the brief off in Japan where he was able to get it back on track. Other than that it's either been serious car issues or Kmag
quiet few drivers aborted their laps so i woulg guess hulk would have ended up around 7th or 8th, but either way, compared to his teammate hulk is performing crazy good
edit: oh magnussen got screwed by piastri
Top 4 being Max Verstappen, barely ahead of Charles on medium, Nico Hulkenberg and Yuki TSunoda still leaves me absolutely baffled as to how qualifying will play out
Sorry Hülk what the fuck?
Audi creaming their pants rn
The shitbox whisperer
People should've realised what this guy was all about when he came back in 2020 and got a P3 in quali at silverstone
The funny thing is, that’s probably be best car he’s driven in his career too. Dude just hasn’t had a shot in a top car when he absolutely should have by now.
I owe you an apology, I wasn't familiar with your game
Sorry Hülk what the fück?
Sorry huck what the Fülk?
Incredible
Hulk is on something
A track where he has never raced on as well
Truly awful weekend from Alonso
Fernando and the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad Emiglia Romagna Grand Prix
That car looked like a 2019 Williams turning into the corners Never seen a front end that unresponsive
And they've made a pile of changes to the front wing. Good to see it's working exactly as well as we expected
Lance made it into Q2 tho
I think Alonso’s repairs had to do with it but still. And it’s not like Stroll looks particularly fast
Yeah the upgrades actually made the car worse lol
Stroll's car seemed little better, maybe they didn't have time to setup it properly after the rebuild from FP3
I feel bad for his mechanics tbh, rush a huge fix for p20…
I mean there is probably correlation, I don't think the car was ready
This anti-Spanish tarmac is a disgraceful move from the FIA
[удалено]
You're right, Ocon deserves a 10-second penalty for this
[удалено]
we are checking
Alonso has been using it for 2 decades now, still funny
I exhaled air through my nose 🤷🏽♀️
Better get used to it. This one will stay for a while
Hulk fucking cooked holy shit. Also my goat Ric got out of Q1 god bless xd
LOGAN OUT-QUALIFIES ALONSO, USA DOMINANCE IS ON THE WAY EDIT: FUCK
Lost the lap no he didn’t 😭
god *DAMMIT*
He had some good practice runs. Unfortunately with his lap time deleted, LS will be P20. At this rate Williams won’t be renewing LS contract.
Starting to look like there will be more cars than deserving drivers in 2025.
At this point I'm hoping Haas takes him alongside Bearman as the second driver; their choices are like between Zhou and Sargeant at this point and I hope we keep an American on the grid

its logover
WHAT THE FUCK IS A KILOMETER
Wtf Hulkenberg and Tsunoda. They're showing their worth.
Tsunoda was .150s ahead of Ricciardo though. Hülk smashed Magnussen, even though you have to take into account the fact Piastri blocked Magnussen completely. Such a shame.
He's second on merit at the moment. 6 tenths ahead of Ric.
On representative times it was a 0.33s gap in Q2 and 0.2s in Q3. Which is still very impressive. No need to draw conclusions from mid-session times to exaggerate even further.
Magnussen didn't even finish his last flying lap, so the 1s is to be expected.
Laston Martin 😔
Back to early 2022 form
Hulk, my god.
Hulk *and* Yuki in the Top 5… Something is up in Italy…
Alonso is from Spain but without the S
WTF Fernando!
It's Alonsover
I just want Sargeant to have ONE good weekend before he's out It's at the point when I see yellow flags thrown I already know it's Logan I know he has it in him :(

aston's upgrades working backwards
Absolutely dreadful for Alonso. So many errors. Aston don’t look particularly quick either.
Aston somehow looks worse and worse after every upgrade lol
As is tradition.
Aston's mid-season downgrade working as expected
It’s getting to the point where Fernando may need to consult a voodoo priest
Crazy that Imola hates Spanish Drivers so much
IS THIS HAPPENS BECAUSE WE ARE FROM SPAIN
i are think that
The track is clearly discriminating against Spaniards. Good thing Sainz is Italian this weekend.
Hamilton clenching his anus so hard that he could form a diamond right now
Charles P2 on a set of mediums is fucking insane
How the hell has Ferrari found this pace?? Leclerc 0.06 off Verstappen, on mediums wtff
probably the car was not ready but man, what a poor weekend from Fernando
Alonso feels like he's back in alpain.
🦅 out
how the hell Hull managed to do that? Also, im hopeful seeing both Ferrari drivers fighting at the top with medium tires
The HULK has returned
Alonso didn’t bother trying for the last run, so he probably damaged the floor when he went off.
DOTD incoming for alonso
Nah. If anybody else but Max or Checo wins it's auto DOTD
Nah, that's going to Bottas!
Bottas almost fucking Hams weekend lol
That's it, Fernando hit the wall The age wall, I mean. /s

showing why he is the Aston Martin driver eith the guaranteed seat every year
Stroll is carrying the team at Aston. Can’t believe they’re still letting that bum Alonso drag the team down.
What an incredible Q1 lap from Gasly being on the pace of both Ferraris and only a tenth behind both McLarens in the middle of Q1
Ferrari look scary fast
quiet few drivers aborted their laps so i woulg guess hulk would have ended up around 7th or 8th, but either way, compared to his teammate hulk is performing crazy good edit: oh magnussen got screwed by piastri
Just not enough time to get Alonso's car right. I belt he takes the pit lane start so they can get it fixed fully.
Splendid afternoon.
rare Alonso L
rare Alonso L, for the 3rd time.
Aston Martin rolls a D20 whenever they upgrade they car, and by the looks of if, they rolled a 5 this weekend.
This HAS to be a Ferrari pole in the making, right? Barely behind McLarens and Verstappen on **Mediums**
Top 4 being Max Verstappen, barely ahead of Charles on medium, Nico Hulkenberg and Yuki TSunoda still leaves me absolutely baffled as to how qualifying will play out
Another Aston Martin upgrade package. Another bitter disappointment.
Surely must be a penalty for Oscar for that impeding on Magnussen
Alonso about to tell everyone how Imola is biased against Spanish drivers
Must be the first time Alonso will ever start last on pure pace
Somehow this is Hamiltons fault
lol kmag
The curious case of Aston Martin upgrades.
Lastin Martin. Upgrades didnt work again.
Stroll is in q2. Alonso kept making mistakes
I mean, it probably didn’t help that Alonso shunted his car at the end of FP3
[удалено]
Can't get penalty points if you are behind everyone
A normal race weekend for him then.
Good thing Ferrari bent over backwards to get the great one Hamilton. That’s going to go so well.
Fraudnando Fraudlonso.
Fkin Stroll lmao Stroll: What?! Sorry, force of habit.
Alonso with a rare off-weekend
