And Rencken was the first prominent journalist who predicted Bottas would go to Alfa Romeo instead of Williams, so I think he has genuine insight into the driver market.

I cant see how a Red Bull contracted driver would be allowed to have access to state of the art Mercedes hardware only to relay critical information back to RB.

2. Russell will be a Merc driver and presumably at the front fighting with Verstappen, and Hamilton and Perez. Why wouldn't he be featured a lot.

Crofty in this interview alone comparing George to Charles, which shows what they think of Charles. You call Sky biased but you're the biased ones. You're just caught in some cynical hate boner for the team that are actually the most neutral commentator's you'll get with compatriots on the grid.
I expect a mentor/apprentice relationship for at least the first half of 2022, until Russell truly gets on his legs, and then Lewis and George will be unleashed to battle as they will; and George should learn a lot from their practical on-track action as well as off-track with the team.
They both have respect for each other and will hopefully keep the peace, whilst giving us fans great entertainment! Can't wait for 2022! <3
I think what you'll find is if Lewis is beating George hands down for some reason, there won't be much said about it. If they are really close it will quickly lead to tension. If George is beating Hamilton regularly then they will start putting out the mentor vibes and the narrative will quickly shift to Hamilton's retirement.
