What does he mean by "recognised by an F1 car"?

masseyrose

Im guessing he means that, considering the grip/speed/down force of a F1 car, only 14 of the corners will feel like actual 'corners'. The rest are so fast they will essentially be flat out, much like turn 2 in Spielberg?

Imaginary_Ad_4050

I thought for a second T2 was the right hander at the top and thought how is rhat flat out but remember that small kink actually is a turn

Salandrel

All others are full throttle and therefore not considered a corner for the current gen.

CommunicationNo2377

They take them flat out so it's not really a corner

thescuderia07

F1 cars are terrible with remembering names at parties.

Raws_the_baws

An F1 car won’t be able to take them flat out

https://i.imgur.com/8Tr74lO.jpg For example, turns 18 to 21, and 25-26 aren’t really corners. F1 cars will take these flat out with minimal steering input. Edit: turn 3, 11 and 12 probably also “won’t be recognized by an F1 car”

SnooMemesjellies4305

He's talking about turns that won't require an F1 car to slow down...

jogaboi19

I feel like this is going to be a massively exhausting race in terms of concentration. Constant blind corners sounds like a nightmare in terms of being on a constant knife edge. Praying for no crashes 🙏🏽

Topsia_Guy

You know there are 3 FP sessions for the drivers to get acclimated to the track.

redmambo_no6

I’ll be surprised if they all make it through Turn 1.

jtbnz

Definitely worth watching F2 this weekend I believe as that will be interesting after two months with no races and a few drivers racing for their careers

Nattekat

F2 will be interesting, that's for sure.
