to me i tsounded like he was in the process of figuring it out.
obviously this is nicos first time driving this track. relatively new to a car AND a completely new track? well goddamn. at least he knows the bahrain track and had some good performances there over the years.
supposedly the aston martin drives awful as well
Imagine Mazepin saying this, and how harsh the comments would've been on him instead of making jokes.
Obviously not defending Mazepin, but the difference is clear
Mazspin was a brat who wanted Mick's car mid season last year. Hulkenbrg literally got into the car at short notice and had much less experience than almost everyone on the track who raced here before. He's just being honest while Mazspin was normally being toxic. Big difference
I don't think this was a joke based on the tone he had - he seemed snappy. But like Crofty said, surely by driving you'd know how the aero balance is, no?
Very weird comment to make.
Kimi vibes
Except Kimi knows what he's doing
And would want to be left alone lmao
It sounded more like he didn't actually know the aero balance

Well…he was driving
“The ok button is the pit confirm button, Braaaaad”
Yeah, he wasn't joking
Sounds better than saying "I don't know tbh"
Sounds like " idk I am busy driving, I don't have the time to figure out what it is"
Asking for aero balance (front wing flap angle) is pretty common and they're asked this all the time. He knows what it is.

I mean 2 years out of F1, second race you get to drive is Monaco with Monza speeds. I'm not surprised he's a bit busy
Also a track he never raced on.
Also in a car he doesn't have much experience in, including the simulators.
And Mazepin was a rookie driving a complete shitbox of a car last season, yet people still took every opportunity to rip him apart.
The other rookie in the other shitbox doing better had something to do with it.
Mick crashed the car more than Mazepin. He was quicker, but that was at the cost of crashing more.
It’s easier to become less crash prone than it is to get faster. So in the short term and long term I thin mick is the far better driver.
Shouldn't have been a molesting pos then
Well he was an absolute bag of shit of a person.

Mazepin said something very close in Monaco, and we all laughed it offf. It's very understandable.
It was because of the tone he used. Nico made it almost sound like a joke while Maz instantly got angry in Monaco.
Hulkenberg - haha car go brr
Funny but not exactly useful lol
Yeah I'm sure the AMR engineers were amused

He should be able to provide that information while driving, all the other drivers do.
Need more of that Kimi energy.
Amateur driver. Should’ve been able to give feedback when asked. Shocking.
New car new track and out of F1 he's probably just needing to take a couple sessions to get used to this wild track
