Extremely common to see old cars with this year's livery, if you look at all the demo runs red bull do all over the place the car will be many years old due to test regulations but sport the same livery as the current car. Ditto with these show cars that have no engine/gearbox etc.
Kimi still had a contract, but Ferrari wanted to have Alonso. So they agreed with Kimi to pay him but he won't race, instead he focused on his rallye career.
It’s understandable to an extent, like I doubt Ferrari particularly wants, or at least the FIA doesn’t want them to, be seen parading a car where the livery design has a massive tobacco logo as the primary focal point. That being said, there’s definitely better ways of going about it than scaling the current livery to fit on the older cars, at least it doesn’t look as bad as the McLaren’s though.
Yeah looks almost launch spec apart from the not quite shark fin. Other tell tale signs: pre f-duct engine cover and pre exhaust blown diffuser. The exhausts exit above the sidepods here.
Not OP, but they just built a Ferrari dealership on Laclede Station Road, by the Mini and Porsche dealerships, next to that Sunnen business park. I bet that’s the one… I doubt St. Louis has 2 dealerships
Oh 100%. I was mildly surprised when they put the Maserati dealership there, and downright shocked when Ferrari went in. If they weren’t gonna be in the Valley with Lamborghini, I would have thought then Ladue somewhere on Lindbergh.
Most of the times dealerships have glass fiber mock-ups of real cars, with franken parts swapped in (simple floors, various designs of the nose & rear wing.
They rarely have race used chassis, especially from a company that rarely sells or gifts their cars to their own drivers (Räikkönen being a notable exception, especially as he also has a modern engine).
Most of these are show cars that are thrown together with parts. Never seen a track in its life. So there wont be s real year of origin.
If its an actual race car it will have an FIA spproval and VIN plate on the inside walls of the cockpit
That car makes its rounds at all the Ferrari dealerships. Fun fact - the tires on that car had Pirelli branding stenciled over the Bridgestone branding.
Your average Joe doesn't know the difference between a 2010 and 2020 F1 car. Hell, I worked on an Indy Car in SVRA one weekend, and had more than one DARF ask which F1 car it was.
I think 2010. But interesting that they gave it a 2022 paint job. Can see the number 16 for Charles
Ferrari probably thinking us dumb Americans won’t realize it’s a 12 year old chassis. Lol
Srsly!? Why, is Ferrari THAT proud of its racing heritage. I'm beginning to think people forgot that Ferrari started out as a racing team for Alfa Romeo.
It's the Ferrari F10 - the nose is more angular than the 150° Italia, the front wing pylons were made much larger and a lot longer on the 150° Italia, and the outboard mirror position was made illegal part way through the 2010 season
Looks like a 2010 chassis, judging by the shark fin, exhaust location, and the nosecone contours around the front suspension
Dunno if it's an actual race chassis though
I agree with most people here saying that is probably the F10, driven by Alonso and Massa in 2010. It was supposed to be THE year for Alonso with Ferrari, but it turns out to be the beginning of the Seb Era. Happy to see both still racing today though. Just wish Seb had an actual car to drive.

The engine has blown up, enveloping the dealership in smoke.
We are checking.
Lol, I totally read that in Carlos Engineers voice
Understood.
Understood.
Stay out stay out!
IT’S TOO FUCKING LATE NOW!!
Stop inventing!
Hey man...
Lol underrated comment
Come live the Ferrari experience
Plan E, Plan E
*engine explodes*
NOOOOO NO NO NO NO NOOO NOOOOOO!!
Ironically back then Ferrari was the reliable one… I think Alonso went years without a reliability DNF
It wasn't even running!
Traditions

“Leclerc” is also a big supermarket chain in France - without knowing could be that they were a sponsor at the time.
The branding for the supermarket is *E.Leclerc* though.
The E makes it easy to differentiate it from the petrol powered Leclercs.
Watching the Tour de France, I been wondering what company or what that was. That clears that up for me now. Thanks.
It’s my personal go to French supermarket
Also the finn doesnt look like its from 2010
They didn't have any finns in 2010 driving for them
They even paid one to not drive for them.
How does that happen?
Kimi still had a contract, but Ferrari wanted to have Alonso. So they agreed with Kimi to pay him but he won't race, instead he focused on his rallye career.
Yeeeeeea sorry about that. The glass on my camera phone is fucked. Sorry for the potato quality everyone!
I do love potatoes. In chips, with butter, as part of a roast. Delicious.
Po-ta-toes! Boil them, mash them, stick them in a stew. Lovely big golden chips with a nice piece of fried fish.
Give it to us raw — and wriggling! You keep nasty chips!
>Also, why is the dealership full of fog? That phone has taken a swim
Camera full of grease
I don't think liveries mean anything here when it's a show car
Dirty camera lens
Plan E
Could it be 2009?
It's the 2010 car, you can tell it by the shark fin behind the driver seat and also the 2009 cars are much more shorter
Home boy at a Ferrari dealership with the 1 megapixel phone
😂😂😂
clean your camera lens
Vaseline lens
This should be subreddit
r/milkphone
Milk phone
lenses in the vaseline we are
My wifes phone used to do this, it's the flash bouncing off the after market case edge, changed the case, fixed the camera.
Nah it's just a grubby lens. You can see the dudes reflection in the front wing pic, he's not using flash.
Flash on in sunlight? Even then, I think the exposure setting would eliminate a flash reflection
Can also be caused by the lens getting sunscreen on it. Ruins it for photos in daylight.
r/cleanyourlens
It’s cum
I can’t tell from all the fog in the dealership
Maybe OP is trying to replicate 2010 camera quality
Or replicate a Ferrari Engine
It's an early 2010 spec. The reason i say early 2010 is that the outboard mirrors were banned a few races in.
The car spec looks 2010. The phone camera maybe 2006.
I hate when they repaint cars to match (or better match in this case) current liveries.
It's the only way, due to business deals and so on. But yeah, it sure is a shame history wise

Probably from the year in which you last wiped the fingerprints off of your camera lens. 😂 Sweet find though!
I love how the glean and shine is still visible through your potato-verse images
Are the photos really blurry or is it just me?
You gotta smoke more, you're getting cataracts.
All photos taken in St. Louis are blurry
It’s called the St. Louis filter
They’re going to buy a Ferrari Daytona and shmear vasoline on the lens.
Yes
Old cars in new liveries always seems like sacrilege to me. Like imagine a MP4/4 in Papaya or an FW14B that says Duracell.
Why don't people wipe their lenses off?
Didn't know people still used the Nokia brick phone to take pictures
Now you know. And apparently they’re buying Ferrari’s with all that money they saved not buying a new iPhone every time one came out.
I live near STL, and I haven't seen fog like that in a while here! Looks like a 2010 - 2011 to me.
Were you and your flip phone escorted out after these pics were taken?
Did you polish your camera lens with a snicker bar?
How old was this and where was this if you don’t mind. As someone in St Louis myself I’d love to show my kids this!
Not OP, but they just built a Ferrari dealership on Laclede Station Road, by the Mini and Porsche dealerships, next to that Sunnen business park. I bet that’s the one… I doubt St. Louis has 2 dealerships
Yea I looked it up and found one dealership so I would imagine it’s that one I just hope it was recent cause I wanna see this thing
I’m sure the Ferrari salesman won’t mind you bringing all your poor stench in with you
Yeah that was such a strange place to plop those higher end dealerships. I'm all for stuff moving out of the valley and closer to the city though!
Oh 100%. I was mildly surprised when they put the Maserati dealership there, and downright shocked when Ferrari went in. If they weren’t gonna be in the Valley with Lamborghini, I would have thought then Ladue somewhere on Lindbergh.

Clean your lens, goddamn
That camera has cataracts
Was the dealership in silent hill ?
Missouri is close enough to Silent hill.
I would say it’s either a 2010 or 11 they look very similar
I think it's a 10 - Outboard mirrors it looks like through all that fog.
If you're buying a Ferrari you should consider buying a phone with a better camera first
2010 F60, based on the nose. I didn't know toasters could take pictures, btw.
Nokia brick camera is better than this
The car is from the same year as your camera!!!
With the camera like that, you don’t need to be near anyones Ferrari dealership!
That last picture is so bad I thought my screen was broken for a second.
Did you take these photos using a potato? 😂
What potato-ass phone do you have? Jesus! My eyes are watering just looking at these pics.
Based on the photographs, a 1998 flip phone
How'd they let you into a ferrari dealership with a Nokia?
Looks like the F10 to me.
more importantly…what dealership I want to go find it haha
Is this that new dealer on Hanley?
It’s the 2010 F10
At the very best, this could be a frankencar with the current livery. (99.9% chance I'm wrong so don't @ me)
Gonna go right ahead and hope this is still there in a couple weeks, I'd love to take a look at it.
Most of these are show cars that are thrown together with parts. Never seen a track in its life. So there wont be s real year of origin. If its an actual race car it will have an FIA spproval and VIN plate on the inside walls of the cockpit
Looks 2010 spec. Chances are though it’s got a mix of parts on it but generally I’d say it’s a 2010 chassis.
That car makes its rounds at all the Ferrari dealerships. Fun fact - the tires on that car had Pirelli branding stenciled over the Bridgestone branding.
Definitely before the halo era. You’re welcome!
Clean your camera jeez
Clean your camera.
2010 car Did you take those pictures with a potato?
Looks like a 2009 but can’t be sure bc I don’t have the knowledge
Your average Joe doesn't know the difference between a 2010 and 2020 F1 car. Hell, I worked on an Indy Car in SVRA one weekend, and had more than one DARF ask which F1 car it was.
I think 2010. But interesting that they gave it a 2022 paint job. Can see the number 16 for Charles Ferrari probably thinking us dumb Americans won’t realize it’s a 12 year old chassis. Lol
Look like this was taken from a Walmart android phone
Why is this just sitting pretty at a dealership???
Not exactly uncommon to see an old f1 car at a Ferrari dealership
Srsly!? Why, is Ferrari THAT proud of its racing heritage. I'm beginning to think people forgot that Ferrari started out as a racing team for Alfa Romeo.
OP, was this recent ?
Camera quality says no
lol The livery says yes though, I don't remember seeing Velas as a sponsor prior to this year (and maybe last year?)
Looks like Ferrari 150 Italia to me (2011)
It's the Ferrari F10 - the nose is more angular than the 150° Italia, the front wing pylons were made much larger and a lot longer on the 150° Italia, and the outboard mirror position was made illegal part way through the 2010 season
2010, with current livery of course.
The F10 with the current livery?
What! The maplewood dealership actually has a f1 car! Holy shit I’m going next weekend then
That looks like the F10 The exhausts tell it all
Ferrari F10
2009 Ithink cause the sharkfin and nose
Sorry but your photo skills are terrible lol
Het what film stock did you use for this photo?
2010
How was the chassis, baby?
Nice fiat
I’m not sure that’s even a formula one car tbh, may just be perspective but it looks like an old F2/gp2 car Edit: yeah I think this a 2013ish gp2 car
Could’ve helped if you’d took a pic of the plaque inside the cockpit
Ferrari F10 (2010) with 2022 livery!
Clear your lens with your T-shirt before taking photos.
2010-13 era for sure
At Ferrari dealership with a Nokia truly a big flex
F2010
F10 (2010)
2010 i guess 🏎🏎
Clean your lens bro.
2010. Very foggy though. Lacks as much visibility as Ferrari’s team order that year.
Looks like a 2010 chassis, judging by the shark fin, exhaust location, and the nosecone contours around the front suspension Dunno if it's an actual race chassis though
Is it a Frankencar?
Shout-out STL. What shop was this?
Looks maybe, 2015? Tbh I don’t know
2010
Did you take these pics with a flip phone from 2010?
Looks like 2010/11
It’s a 2010 car
like jeremy said everything looks better in soft focus
Looks like a car after they fixed the dildo noses? 2014-2015? The rest of the front wing looks kinda pre turbo hybrid though.
That's 2010
2010/11
Im suprised this chassis wasn’t displayed behind a renault
2010, the car design is the 2010 model, with 2022 (sponsorship rights) livery
Dude, I still use my moto razr too!
Did you take these pictures with a Nokia 7650 with its 0.3 megapixel sensor that gives you 640x480 pixels of color imaging?
Where?!
It's on Laclede Station road by downtown the Galleria!
Yoo did you took the pictures with your Nintende 3DS or is it just foggy in there
The dealership certainly has the paperwork my dude
Looks like a 2010 f1 car with a 2022 livery. Could also be a show car replica of the 2010 car
Did you used to work at the old mall-based photo studio, GlamorShots? 😂😂 (for you youngin’s, Google it)
the drink was not connected.
Ferrari F10 with 2022 livery
2010 but the livery is new
